Hell of a great trainer and a great employee. Ive been in hvac for 12 years doing install and service and i just had the service manager/owner do a ride along with me this week and even i was nervous as hell lol. Good job Daniel. Talking to customers will be second nature before you know it. Eventually youll learn to use them to help diagnose issues And if they are a helicopter youll learn how to put em to work lol.

Daniel, if you are readin this: brazing is hard to learn. do good brazing takes a lifetime to learn. never stop being critical of you own work and always aim to do a better job. pro tip from someone that has been brazing nearly 30 years now: use clean gloves when sanding and touching the copper. make sure you dont touch the copper by hand. the grease from your fingers kills the wicking action. even after sanding it remains so put on clean gloves, clean with alcohol/isopropl and then sand and braze without taking the gloves off.

Just one tip it would be better if you had brazed the 2 pieces of copper pipe on the dryer outside the unit and just do 2 brazings inside the unit. Less time hanging inside the unit and breathing that beautiful smell of burnt poe oil and refrigerant residues

When my filter dryer started to rust, I used a galvanizing paint on it.
Friend, how much pressure should you have in high pressure and in low pressure? coolant 410a
I did the majority of the brazing when I worked for the subway and I learned fast that the oxygen acetlylene torch was cumbersome and was much slower than using the turbo torch that allows the flame to evenly heat around the pipe! No futsing with the oxygen and over heating of the pipe or a big old dog nut on the bottom of the pipe when all the solder runs to the bottom of pipe when the oxygen acetlylene torch over heats the pipe! Everything is not for everybody! Stop torturing Daniel with that oxygen acetlylene torch and get him a turbo torch with all the tips! I would check all my joints with a mirror and a flashlight and rarely did I have a leak and I didn't waste money for an oxygen tank at the supply house! Great find and Daniel you need to listen and observe Mikey pipes to hone your social skills with the customers!
1:38 to 2:01 ,Daniel are you paying attention to what MP is doing? its not all about pluming. Daniel do you remember the watch guy? the same thing . The purpose of the mercedes truck and the wrap? are you are getting what MP is throwing down..?. its all part of the game..
MP is micro managing the doorbell ring? what does the customer want ? call when arrive ? ring top bell ? ring bottom bell? both? Daniel ,there is no one size fits all.

Wish you would of showed the leaks he had...or at least the nitrogen test....otherwise good video. Danielson needs more time brazing. He will get there. It took me a while of hands on before I was comfortable. It's all about fundamentals and how confident you are when it comes to brazing...just get the magic juice out and start melting shit!

What causes an condenser compressor to short to ground? Most common cause?
Tech doesn't properly dehydrate system, moisture has chemical reaction with refrigerant and forms acids. They eat varnish off motor windings, shorts out motor. High heat due to lack of condensor maint. or bad fan motors can do the same.

Air conditioning the outside. I bet the guy that invented the Hotspot AC condenser that heats your pool for free probably felt the cold air blow out of a heat pump pool heater and thought it was a waste and can use that cold air to cool the house.

The most you get from trade school are the books. Speaking from experience.
Yeah you only have ONE brazing class where you braze a pipe swedged to all different sizes and then you crimp the end and braze it. Then the teacher fills it up with nitrogen, puts it in water and you get your grade that way...so don't say just cause hes been to school he should KNOW how to braze...
