the Kiwi’s are cool have good humour and don’t take life too seriously compared to where I live in Perth, Wellington I like a lot, the Deluge is a very nice unit that I have but have not had the chance to work with it enough, I encourage anyone to own one of these
I have never owned a synth/sampler and I can't say that I'm even interested in getting one. I love these videos though and always tune in for the jams sessions.
@@truecuckoo yeah, I was watching videos of yours for 1,5 h and then this one where you plugged in the shitty usb cable it made click, and I said to myself, god! it's here. But I have to say, mine is in a much better condition..
Hey bro ✌️🙂 I just downloaded your two latest sound packs and I am so excited.. Gumroad sent a message and I bought them no problems woo 👍😁 It is awesome what you do, you are really inspiring lots of creativity so thanks man 🦆🧙♂️ Have awesome day 💛🌻
It’s right there, in the southern parts of Wellington. Amazing little team. It all comes down to how you feel about the instruments. And what is making you tick. They’re both interesting instruments. The Deluge definitely more hands on, and more flexible in many ways. The Tracker more nerdy, and with that granular engine too. If you were into trackers before it’ll feel very familiar for sure.
Mannnn, Cuckoo... i'm sure i'm not the only one who would gladly send you $20 for that MEGA TUTORIAL of ANALOG RYTM MK2 you mentioned a few years back... if you can muster up the drive to do so. Maybe do it on the new black edition w/ new OS updates? Thanks brother!
I've never used any sample packs but I'm quite impressed by the "musicality" of these "daily objects". However, what struck me even more is this "tape stop" effect. Will that be new in Firmware v3.2 or did I miss something? (Or is that just another technique that I don't master.... among so many others) :-D Cheers! And keep up the good (and always cool and entertaining) work! :-)
I think you're referring to the stutter effect! Just select the effect (second to last, I think) and press and hold the top golden knob. Rotating the knob changes the length of the slice, creating that "tape stop" effect.
Still really want a mega tutorial for Deluge.
@Landon Raylan Definitely, been using Flixzone} for since december myself :D
@Landon Raylan Yea, have been using flixzone} for since december myself =)
Cuckoo can make anything sound good. I just love listening to you jam.
Thank you so much!
I’d rather say Cuckoo can make anything sound the same way though. No toxic, just saying. Great ideas, thanks for inspiration as always, man!
Synthstrom Audible's Deli' is *EPIC* .. everyone needs to own one! (Also the world's nicest company with brilliant support!)
Everybody needs a 30....Deluge definitely Deluge.
Hey cuckoo deluge is the best thing ever!!! I'm starting to enjoy octatrack too, but deluge is my album maker!
Every video you do just inspires me to keep creating playfully thank you
Damn Cuckoo these sounds are niiiiice. Crunchy compressed organic sounds are definitely my vibe- might have to get this one!

Super cool machine and such nice samples to demo it with 🤤🤤👌
Wow never seen one of these, love how it displays the wave form on the buttons 0.0 - picking up the pack!!
Yeah the Deluge has a very tight system. Great music machine.
Crazy good sounds in there. Very inspiring - thanks alot! 🙌
Mad genius of inspiration innit
They recently increased the Deluge's price by $100. Still worth it though. EDIT: Price increase is due in February
It is worth twice as much
actually the increase is due on Feb 1st, so still time to order...
@@volsteh My bad, corrected my statement
Yeah, I honestly think about getting a second Deluge because I love it so much.
I wish I never read this. Ignorance is bliss.

Hey Cuckoo could you recommend a synth sequencer for a 10 year old no experience, sorry tough question thanks.
Hard to know what’d make the youngster tic. Elektron Model Cycles or Novation Circuit?
Hello cuckoo this Is digital Dobbie, always a pleasure to hear your voice
I am in Wellington and I never knew about Synthstrom... Now I'm torn between that and a tracker like the polyend or the nerdseq... :O

@@truecuckoo Thanks for the response. I am definitely going to research more, but I think I will be biased now to supporting a local company. :)
@@SpiroHarvey haha fair enough, in the very best way! I know the team will feel that local fist bump in a way that only Wellies do 🤣
Nice Kits Cuckoo! You’re an absolute treasure :)
Please how did you customize digitaks buttons!!??? ; ) Nice Sample Pack!!
Thanks mate! 🙏🏼 I collected random promotional stickers, then cut them in shapes of Digitakt buttons. DIY style.
Guys I need help. Should I get op1/opz combo or deluge? I need something portable with lots of capabilities. Please help
can it be used with volca sample 2? :^)
I heard this and I thought this thing was trash until he made a beat.

I love you videos!!!
I like those sounds, and people gonna hate me for saying this, but US$19.20 VAT is a bit expensive IMO
A ticket from Norway to New Zealand costs like $1500 :P
Love this machine thanks man. X
Catching up after rest of the world.
YES, I'M GETTING IT 😍
🙏🏼
would it work well in the circuit?
Oh yes. Just drag and drop the samples into the Novation Components interface.
Deluge or Digitakt ?
I'm posting this from new zealand
Full circle!!! 🙏🏼
