- Back out on my kayak going for Mackerel. Today I attempt to create a 3 course meal my kayak, while floating in the middle of the ocean!

For some reason the seagulls feasting just adds even more to Taku’s cooking

I swear you got more stuff on that kayak then I’ve seen on some small boats. Stuff just kept coming out of nowhere! Plates, full sized cutting board, ice chest, a whole grill and blow torch! Incredible man.
I’ve opened up a clif bar on the kayak once. You on the other hand are a straight up gangster! You outdid yourself with this one. Love it!

@@brian70Cuda When I was a kid, my dad and grandparents took my camping at least twice a year. It had just been so long since I had even considered going fishing. I missed it a lot, actually. It was nice sit on the beach, relax, and throw the hook into the water.

This has the potential to be extremely dangerous. Even if it’s a calm day, he’s right next to a very busy harbor where boats come in and out extremely quickly and leave high wakes. They don’t have a lot of regard for kayakers. I’m sure he’s taking plenty of precautions but someone else can still come and ruin his day.

As I sit here at home eating my pathetic tuna sandwich, watching Taku make a 3-course meal on his kayak that looks absolutely amazing!! Well done! My favorite episodes you do are the fresh water trout/crawdad catch and cooks. I think the mountain areas in California are just so beautiful.

So so cool to have a friend who fish with you and cooks on a kayak nothing can bet that. I love jack smelt I use to get it at my local farmers market, but I haven't seen them come in a long while. I always get 3lbs of them there where so good and sweet. Too bad can't get them anymore.

Missing when I was in high school living in crescent city CA. This was the way of life. Free pier fishing for mackerel smelt n snow crab. Even though we were poor, life was good. 20 years later, I have a better life, enough money to get by but it never compares to the life when I was younger living by the ocean
