I Have over 300 books in my tbr pile so unfortunately its probably going to be a while before I can read that series but it has been on my list for a while
OLIVIA THOMAS bookoutlet.com or bookdepository.com also thriftbooks.com if you don't mind whether or not they're used. I make BookTube videos and I make unboxing vids sometimes so you could check out one of my Book Outlet ones to get an idea of what they have available.
Oh my god Cress is just like Ariel! How did I not notice before!? And just a few days ago I was wanting a Disney book tag video to watch! And this one was awesome so thank you!
This is such a cool tag! I love the qualifications you associated with each movie. Also, choosing the Shadowhunter world to become real because Will Herondale, I approve.
This is such a great book tag! Juliette is a really good choice for a character who goes through a major transformation, and any of Cassandra Clare's characters would probably be my choice for that question as well, well maybe not Sebastian or Valentine, lol. :)
Wonderful tag Kat! And Melissa Dela Cruz's new book sounds interesting. I am fond of reading fairytale retelling specially the ones about the villains :D
This is so cute! :) I'm a big Disney fan! :D Love your videos! The Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy is on my TBR this May and it's because you kept on praising that book in your videos so I decided to read it. I hope I would like it as much as you did. :D
I love this tag, thanks for creating it! I just recently got home from working in Disney World, so doing this tag seemed like an awesome way to combine two of my all-time favorite things: books and Disney! I had a ton of fun doing it, and I love your answers too!
Here is a few books you should try reading: A long walk to water, Princess Acadimy, The misadventures of Maud March, and Tuck Everlasting. All were very good books.
for the toy story one I was like: It betta be TMI or TID...Cummon don't let me down! *Holds up clockwork angel* OMG I LOVE YOU SO MUCCCCHHHHH I TOTES AGRREEEE
This is such an exciting tag. I primarily make book videos but I'm going on the college program for the summer and intend to vlog. This might act as a nice transition. Thanks for the questions, Kat! Great tag & video :D
what a cool idea! this tag was so entertaining and you showed me lots of books i haven't read before (and that are going straight to my wish list)! :) maybe i'll do this tag on my channel!
Kat: *says Lion King question* Me: omg I swEAR IF THIS ISN'T CELAENA IDK WHAT TO DO Kat: I'd say Celaena Sardothien Me: *sighs with relief and falls on the floor*
+Gemineye although (MILD-VERY STRONG- IF YOU'RE GOOD AT FIGURING THINGS OUT) SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T READ ALL OF THE THRONE OF GLASS SERIES) The Mulan thing would be relevant if you know what I mean *wink wink nudge nudge*
I know you are one of the more popular UA-camrs out there so, if I never get a response from you no worries. I am going to be doing this tag because one of my subscribers tagged me. So just so you know...I am turning this tag into a film tag! I think it is going to be fun to figure out other Disney classics and compare them to the characters featured in the questions. Thank you and keep up the good work!
A book that put you to sleep - LotR "But wait, wait, wait, don't freak out, put down the pitchforks" Are you kidding? Finally someone who understands me :D "I actually really like this book" *picks up the pitchfork* You've destoryed my hopes!
OMG I finally decided to read The Lord of the Rings and, I JUST finished The Fellowship of the Ring. TBH I feel the same way because I LOVED it but, there was just so much to take in.
Jade LOL. Not in a bad way at all. I mean there was so much information and world building. I got so used to YA books and, Lord of the Rings was just BAMB! I loved it like crazy but, I just wasn't used to so information.
I knew it...when you paused I* knew!!!!* it was gonna be TID XD OMG I agree... If I ever find out how the inkheart thing with reading yourself into books works, CA is the first one on my list.... I luv the video but I wish you hadn't said that about LOTR... But well...it is kinda slow-paced...
Been a while since I did one of these, and while Young Adult is certainly not my cup of tea, I do like the questions: 1. The Little Mermaid: ¡Xabbu from the Otherland series by Tad Williams. An African bushman entering the most complex virtual reality system known to man? Yup, fish out of water enough. 2. Cinderella: Vin from Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. From beaten down slave girl to kickass superheroine. 3. Snow White: A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. Granted, there are plenty of characters to pick, but several of them are incredibly awesome and yet don't even get their own POV, yet others keep getting POV despite being complete dimwits *cough*Sansa*cough*. 4. Sleeping Beauty: The Infernal Devices (as well as the last three books of The Mortal Instruments) by Cassandra Clare. No, this is not revenge for the Lord of the Rings bashing (though that is perhaps the most influential book in my life), but well, like I said, Young Adult is not my cup of tea; outcast-ish girl runs into a dreamy boy who turns out ot be a complete jerk and through whom she finds out she's actually special, falls in love (despite the jerk issue), but also discovers she can't be with him because of some easily-resolved misunderstanding that is, well, easily resolved at the end... that pretty much sums up Young Adult (save for a few blissful exceptions such as The Lunar Chronicles and such). 5. The Lion King: I could go with Vin again but for the sake of variety I'll say Azoth from The Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks. And well, his entire childhood was pretty darn awful and traumatic so yeah. 6. Beauty and the Beast: I'm not usually intimidated by big books (most I read are between 600 and 1200 pages), but back when I read The Lord of the Rings I was ten years old and it was definitely the biggest book I'd read up to that point. And, of course, my whole life project is based around my grandma giving me The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings for my tenth birthday so you know I love it. 7. Aladdin: John Furie "Gentle" Zacharias from Imajica by Clive Barker. He got his wish alright. 8. Mulan: Deryn "Dylan" Sharp from The Leviathan Series by Scott Westerfeld. A young woman posing as a man to join the British Air Force during an alternative World War I. Awesome as heck, too. 9. Toy Story: Not sure if the characters per se, but make The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern friggin' real! Either that or the whole Star Wars Expanded Universe (now Star Wars Legends). I loves me some Star Wars goodness (as made evident by my deliberate use of bad grammar). 10. Disney Descendants: Lord Asriel from His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. A man dead set on killing God himself, at any cost. At ANY cost. So, yeah, sorry for commandeering your comment section, I do believe I get carried away at times but can't really help it xD
"Seriously, why have you not read this book yet?"
*looks at TBR*
*looks back at puppy eyes*
*hangs head in shame*

I fall asleep listening to The Lord of The Rings because it's such a calming story.
A book that put you to sleep

The Lion King - a character who had something traumatic happen to them in childhood. I would of put Sam from the book Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
