WHOOO! Thanks so much for doing my tag! Haha I actually loved the GameCube, it came out when I was in high school and man I remember the fun I had playing it with my friends and sisters The question was based on how poorly it did on the market :( ppl didn't know what they where missing! Ah! Mistborn is totally a modern classic! And Seconds, I've been wanting to read that for the LONGEST time! Great video! 😊😊
Kat, I keep seeing it on your shelf, and this might be my FAVORITE series ever, and it is the Graceling trilogy. PLEASE, EVEN THOUGH SOME PEOPLE HATE IT, YOU MUST READ IT!!!
I'm listening to pride and prejudice via audiobook and I'm enjoying it, and finding time to listen to it is really easy, especially while doing tasks around the house, anyway great video!
So cool! I love Nintendo and book combinations (in fact, I made a Smash Bros book tag a little while ago), so this tag is fantastic! I'm definitely going to do it. And I'm with you on the Harry Potter editions. That new one with Hogwarts spread out across all seven spines? Gorgeous.
I've been trying for months to get my sister to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I audio-booked it and loved it. I want her to experience it the same way I did, because I believe that is why I enjoyed the series so much. If anyone hasn't read it yet I highly recommend listening to it. Kat got me interested. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have of bothered. The covers wouldn't have of caught my eye. So, thank you very much!
You should read Locke and Key, that is currently my favorite graphic novel, but I also just started Nimona and it's so funny and original. The main character of Nimona is a sidekick supervillain: she has such an hilarious sense of humor and zeal for evil and the art is lovely. I think you would really like it. The author also did Lumberjanes. I don't know if you would like locke and key; it's gory, but also magical and suspenseful and the story is by Stephen King's son, Joe Hill. They're both fantastic!
Kat, I love your videos! I always seem to add more books to my tbr list when I watch a new video of yours lol Also, I loved this! I'm also a huge Nintendo fan! p.s. cool shirt!!
Kat I totally agreed with you on the Red Queen! Everyone was raving about it and I thought it was just meh. It wasn't bad or anything I just didn't love it and like you thought there were other books on the same theme that did it better. Makes me feel better to realize I'm not the only one who felt this way.
I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone recently due to your recommendation and LOVED IT!!! (I've just finished Days of Blood and Starlight and thought that was super amazing as well) :D
Thomas Keane Gamecube was pretty much my first console so I totally agree. It seems like it is forgotten all the time even though it did some really amazing things for Nintendo.
Half way through the video, I realized your shirt matches the concept of the video. XD I liked the GameCube too. It was my childhood. :) Loved the video.
When I bought the GameCube, it came with a Zelda game pack and that's where I fell in love with ocarina of time!! That story line is so amazing and I can play it over and over again! I'd love to see it be turned into a movie!
I'm the same for Red Queen. I mean I'll read the sequel. But I really don't understand what was so great and amazing about it, compared to other books like An Ember in the Ashes. Sorry to say, it fell short for me, unlike for my other nerdy friends.
Daughter of Smoke and Bone is finally on my currently reading pile! I took it out of the library, so now I'm forcing myself to read it before I have to renew it.
KAT! I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY. I just logged the three Daughter of Smoke and Bone US hardback books from Edinburgh back home to the Netherlands because I saw them in a 2nd hand book shop for 8 pounds. Because of you. Because you've drilled it into my brain that I have to read them. And your US editions are so pretty! And I'd already bought 8 other books. Gaaahh!
I loved this video! Could you please read my favorite series: The Land Of Stories by Chris Colfer(he is Curt Hummel on Glee). It would mean a lot to me!
Lol, you were so hyper throughout the video! I'm sure you drank coffee before filming. You should do it all the time. It makes watching your videos more fun! Gr8 video.
I started to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone back in December after I got it from my school's library, but I was always so exhausted by school that I kept falling asleep while reading it. I haven't picked it back up since...Don't kill me, Kat!
I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone at the end of 2014. Loved it. I own the second one and haven't picked it up yet. But definitely want to eventually and possibly finish the series this year.
+Anthony Maurangi I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm super pumped to continue on at some point. I feel ha! THERE ARE TOO MANY BOOKS WE HAVe TO READ. TOO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM.
If you loved the first one I'm positive you'll love the second one. I think I'll need to wait until a month where new releases are few and far between. AAAAHHHHH! I JUST WANT ALL THE BOOKSSSSS!
That's the worst part about impulse buying and watching soooo many book hauls! My collection increases, but my free time decreases. I only bought five books this month because they were books that I NEEDED! I'm going to have to limit myself from now on. I hope your TBR is fairing better than mine!
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was the game that brought me into video games. My favorite level was the Spirit temple with Twinrova. Gah, I miss that game.
Kat have you read Feed by M.T Anderson or Never Let You Go by Kazuo Ishiguro? They are amazing! I'm a die hard fantasy romance reader but I really enjoyed these haha :)
I also want ALL the Harry Potter editions :D and I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone last summer and loved it but then didn't continue the series for some reason *hides in shame* This summer! I WILL read them this summer!
PLEASE IM BEGGING U TO DO A VIDEO ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE GRAPHIC NOVELS!! or like reply to my comment about your faves haha xD i seriously dont know what to start with
If you're gonna read graphic novels, and if you love fantasy, then you have to read some of the very first graphic novels: Elfquest. Go to the official site, which is the title then dot and com. All of their comics are on the site for free, something they did for the 30th anniversary back in 2008. Elfquest was an independent fantasy comic that came out in 1978, written and drawn by Wendy Pini and co-plotted and edited by her husband Richard. They collected their story into graphic novels, a new format at the time that they helped pioneer. All you need to read for now is the Original Quest. If you like that, then you can read the next two stories, Siege at Blue Mountain and then Kings of the Broken Wheel. From there you'd have to do some research and follow some book guides and timelines. The Pinis are currently working on Elfquest: The Final Quest, which is being published by Dark Horse. The art is beautiful, the writing is great and the story is awesome. What else could you ask for? I'm not positive but I believe Neil Gaiman's last name is pronounced Guy-men. I've heard it both ways. Also, you used my favorite pronunciation for Samus Aran. I hate when people say Aaron. I found your channel while searching for tutorials for Scrivener. Please check out Elfquest. Best. Fantasy. Comic. Ever.
I've been watching your videos for a while and the one thing I've gotten out of them was: read Daughter of Smoke and Bone!!! So I did and it was fucking epic. Thank you.
OMG THE BLOOPS KAT I'LL READ IT SOON NEXT MONTH I PROMISE
ARE YOU HAPPY NOW JESSE!!!
Man ot would be so awkward if you hated it lol

I was just using my GameCube yesterday! I loved it back then and still love it today.
Kat, I keep seeing it on your shelf, and this might be my FAVORITE series ever, and it is the Graceling trilogy. PLEASE, EVEN THOUGH SOME PEOPLE HATE IT, YOU MUST READ IT!!!
This tag was so much fun! I love all your answers. And your hair looks so pretty in this video!
I'm listening to pride and prejudice via audiobook and I'm enjoying it, and finding time to listen to it is really easy, especially while doing tasks around the house, anyway great video!
This makes me smile. Brings back great memories!
I would like to add:
Wii U: A interesting and different book that didn't go over so well with a lot of people.
It is Nintendo's worst selling console so I really thought that would be that question instead of GameCube!
Madison Herondale No it's not. Let's not forget about the Virtual Boy.
Lactose Tolerant I would prefer if everyone just forgot about that one.
Fire Gaming Never forget. V.B. 1995-1996
Editing on point 💙 Love the video and you as always 💞
So cool! I love Nintendo and book combinations (in fact, I made a Smash Bros book tag a little while ago), so this tag is fantastic! I'm definitely going to do it.

Kat I totally agreed with you on the Red Queen! Everyone was raving about it and I thought it was just meh. Novels and Nonsense ZOH EM GEE. Double Dash! Kids todays don't know what awesome is!
Thomas Keane Gamecube was pretty much my first console so I totally agree. It seems like it is forgotten all the time even though it did some really amazing things for Nintendo.

Do you read the infernal devices series before or after the mortal instruments series??
You can read them in any order, but The Infernal Devices is a prequel. (I read The Infernal Devices First)
I'm the same for Red Queen.
Kat, you are right. About everything.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm super pumped to continue on at some point. I feel ha! THERE ARE TOO MANY BOOKS WE HAVe TO READ. TOO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM.

Anthony Maurangi Okay! YES!!! And it makes me really jealous every time I see a book haul because I'm just like "AWW NO FAIR I WANT THOSE BOOKS TOO."
That's the worst part about impulse buying and watching soooo many book hauls! My collection increases, but my free time decreases. I only bought five books this month because they were books that I NEEDED! I'm going to have to limit myself from now on.
I hope your TBR is fairing better than mine!
Is Bomberman a nintendo game? If so, that ones my favorite, so much nostalgic feels with this one :')
+Natalie Herondale I think Bomberman is Capcom but they're on Nintendo consoles

*smashes through door* I heard the word manga. For waht purpose have I been summoned? ;)
haha! I just got into manga, but sometimes it's a bit hard to follow. What are some good mangas to get started with?
I saw the new Harry Potter editions at my local bookstore and I WANTED THEM SO BAD
