Exactly what I was looking for. I plan to cut some scraps, maybe some hearts to patch an old quilt, using the blanket stich to apply them. Do i iron over, or sew over a hem on the applique/patch first? Thank you for your instructions. Lynn

That will be so cute! I've only ever done patches with wonder under (iron on), and that leaves a raw edge. Without something like that, you would need to fold them over somehow. I would look up how to do a heart applique.
