Thank you dear For showing these different stitches My grandma Fabiola R.I.P. long long time ago taught me lazy Daisy and cross stitch Grandma did a lot of pillowcases using cross stitches . My school taught me the very basic Satin stitch running stitch chain stitch back stitch stem stitch I know how to do the buttonhole stitch but I do not know the name of the stitch thanks I downloaded this so I could learn the names and how to do the stitches Thank you again and again Love the background piano music .
Great work! But just so you know there is an easier, quicker way to do the cross stitch... You basically do the slant stitches one way all the way down the fabric (like this: \\\\\\\\) and then turn around when you reach the end of the fabric and do the same thing the other way completing the cross (XXXXX). It takes much less time (i used to do them like you until my mom showed me this faster way... I hope i explained it well lol)
My mother taught me how to embroider when I was little. It's hard to find anything to embroider other than pillowcases and dresser scarves. I would like other things to embroider, too.
I tried embroidery around the neckline and borderline of my boring plain colored blouse and it turned beautiful. . And if you have a plain colored skirt or dress you can embroider the hemline .
Maybe also 'curtains', tracing/chalking and embroidering a boarder around the sides or a type of fringe at the top. Or the same on a plain quilt cover to compliment the pillowcases.
@Nancy Thompson • How about jeans pants hems or legs, pockets, cuffs, front plackets, T-shirt sleeves with stabilizer could have your monogram, favorite flower, or animal . . . the possibilities are endless?
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, i was giving up on learning embroidery but this video truly has helped me improve a lot!! lots of love from mexico
Thank you for excellent scale (yarn, stitch & spacing size), contrast, & execution! I was a bit irked by the edit of Cretan stitch, as that was the one for which I most need reminding. Not that I use it anywhere but a sampler. :-)

Good
Try it on vervet material
Such skill you have! It is impressive observing you precisely sewing the line. I have just started learning the cross stitch last night!
In late summer you'll not be as quick as her, but much more accurate in stitch length and working on pre-drawn lines.
