I saw a website that started by telling you how to open a new canvas... I saw this video and literally was able to figure it out after watching it for 8 seconds. You're doing God's work.
I tried that. My line-art still looks like something out of a children's drawing program, and I can't draw without a pre-existing drawing that I did outside of Krita to trace over.
Oh shoot, and I thought it's just impossible in Krita! I always draw in Paint tool sai, where stabilization is easier to access and I just can't draw without it, I have shaky hands :P Thank you sm for this tutorial!
cheers was searching google and there was nothing this simple to tell you how to turn it on ordered a drawing tablet but before I get it I'm going to use stabilizer
Thank you so much! I am a newcomer in Krita (I used Medibang whenever I do art in my laptop and ibisPaint X in my phone) and I was wondering how do I find the stabilizer. This was helpful in just 1 minute! :)
yess,, finally a straight to the point video about this,, i was looking all over the place in krita and couldn't find it anywhere on krita's tutorial website,, so thank you for this!
THANKS for getting straight into point. Recently I had been finding how to change color in krita, and man! They are 20-30 mins video and I hardly found out my solution.
Thank you for this short and to the point tutorial! I'm giving Krita a try since it looks like has a lot more flexibility with drawing tools than Photoshop. Just a little question, you mention the delay is good for doing lineart, but what is the reason?
Cuz it straightens out shakey lines you mat accidently make. Because the delay won't pick up the little shakes you make. Where as non-delay pics up all the little shakes you make by accident
thank you!! getting into using a drawing tablet for the first time and figuring out krita right now. very glad you explained the delay feature as well :)
My hands are shaky enough that even with this tool, my lineart ends up being... squiggly. But thanks a ton for showing me where it is! I wouldn't even be able to attempt lineart without it
Thank you man, i'm not familiar with this software but it has a lot of features and i can get for free moreover it run smoothly on my pc So this simple tutorial is really helping me
The brush smoothing option is not available for me, what should I do or where can I enable it? Just found it actually, I was using the dynamic brush tool instead of the freehand drawing tool. Thanks for the video!
um hey, i know im very late but- when i tried the stabilization it just turns into a normal line? except its easier But i want it be like in your screen, from small to big. anyway to fix this? Really appreciated if you answer this 😊
Do you have a drawing tablet? Because you need one to have this pressure :) If you don't have one in paint tool sai there's a tool that can simulate the pressure of a drawing tablet
7 months late but if it’s of any use to you, only specific brushes in krita allow for pressure sensitivity so play around with them. If you’d Till have a problem maybe try the settings of your tablet? Hope it helps
my guess is that the delay would let you have more control in the way the lineart is drawn since you watch the lines form behind the brush. (I don't really know how else to explain it...) i did some testing myself and it'll take getting used to, since it doesn't follow the path you drew in, rather where the brush is at that moment ^^'
THANK YOU for getting straight into the point. Saves me from watching a 20 minute video about something that can done in a minute.
Yeah wading through long videos can be tiring :o
agreed
A trick : you can watch series at Flixzone. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Logan Cannon Yup, have been using Flixzone} for since november myself :)
honestly
thank you for going directly to the point
internet needs you
You're welcome.
I turned it on and was finally able to draw a circle
I felt that on a personal level 😂😂

i really dont understand how people do line-art digitally. its so hard.
@@hoodybox477 Tons of people use a tablet and maybe thats why and if they use a mouse omfg props to them
@@JackpotSadGirl. yeah drawing with a tablet n doing lineart is difficult
have a go using the "dynamic brush tool". I use it and it makes your lines look so much smoother.
we need people who get to the point like its nobody business more often, thank you so much!
I appreciate this video being right to the point and short. So many how to videos take 50 minutes to explain simple things and I hate that
This is the type of video that should be flooding UA-cam. Thank you for the quick, precise, informative video.

Yeah, sometimes figuring out how to do things in the different tools can be a challenge.

Whats actually the purpose of the delay? How does it benefit in the line art?
Also, I love how straight to the point your video is. Well done!

I think it's mostly for mouse users like myself, it's a million times easier.
Thank you 😍😍😘😘
Nice, but would have been useful to explain when use of different sizes is appropriate, because that's the part I'm struggling with.
Thank you i love you this helped so much
