Rather than discounting the way celebrities act with their own families and their personal lives, I think it actually reveals their true character. It's one thing if you treat random strangers like crap but if you talk to your own family like that, or if you keep your own sister from seeing her dying mother, I think that's actually something worth looking at.
I think it sort of says something if you think it’s fine to stop strangers from seeing their dying mom? Or maybe I’m misunderstanding your comment. Like I don’t think you’re excused from being a dick regardless or who it is.

mostly any movie background, coming up here. never watched Pretty Woman, didn't realize there was more than one Baldwin, missed that Mike Myers was playing Dr. Evil (which kind of stood out). it was a little odd that he saw continuing to mess with a phone on a plane after the announcement as unreasonable, but it seemed fine to ride a bike the wrong way on a one way street, or to run red lights on one. that may be a cultural thing; in some countries all that is fine, just odd that may be more acceptable in England.
Wow, this is why I come here. Funny, entertaining, and just pure class. The way you delicately yet firmly avoided a section of your own scripts was very kind. Cheers sir. Also if you’ve seen the 2nd and 3rd Austin powers, Mike Myers plays multiple roles there too. (Fat Bastard and Goldmember)

Mike Myers and I went to the same high school, Stephen Leacock, around the same time. We'd both taken the TV course, which was only offered by two schools in Ontario. From what I remember, he transferred from Woburn, or maybe MacDonald, because of the TV course, after all, we had TV studios in our school!! You're hanging lights, and editing tape, and monitoring sound, and appearing in front of the camera, all while trying to figure out what you're gonna say next. He knew what direction he was pointed in, from very young. I found that he didn't interact that much with people, but, after all, he didn't know anyone, he was new to our school. Part two, coming soon...
Yes! (Bill effin Murray!) He’s a legend!! Side note: he’s a part owner of a minor-league baseball team in Charleston, South Carolina… and I unknowingly won a silent auction to have a party in his personal skybox at the stadium… He, and his sons came up and hung out with us… Charleston Riverdogs…
John Lennon was one of my hero’s because of everything thing he stood for. I was crushed when he was murdered. About a month ago I learned about what he was like in real life, and I was crushed again. I was in an abusive relationship long ago & and I felt lost when I heard he did that. In addition, how he treated Julian was unforgivable. Just because he wasn’t planned, John didn’t include him in his will! Unbelievable 😢.
Lennon was definitely not a nice person so its hard to fathom how he was able to overcome that and express the better part of himself through his music
I always enjoyed the small cameo of Will Farrell in Austin Powers. The guy who falls off the cliff then pleas for help saying how his broken bones are smelling like peanuts. Shits hilarious. That whole movie is gold.

Yeah, there are 4 Baldwin bros: *Alec:* the one in this vid *William:* Another actor. Most active in the late 80s and early 90s. Not sure what he's up to now. *Stephen:* Was an actor, not sure if he's still in the biz. Mostly did stoner-type comedies in the 90s. Probably most famous role was Bio Dome with Pauley Shore. Last I heard, he sobered up and found religion, and kind of went a bit nuts with both. *Daniel:* The one everyone forgets about. He did some acting, but very little.
And then there's Adam Baldwin... You know...The one whom far too many people think is a Baldwin Brother, despite his being completely unrelated to them. (Just in case you want to confuse Simon even further...)

Unintentionally hilarious.
No, he is right. It is best if we just never mention that name and let them pass on, far, far, farashell away from any beloved films.

Whilst Mike Myers is Canadian, his parents were English with Scottish heritage. I guess that's why his British accents are so good.
His parents were from Liverpool hence his sense of humour 😊
Oh that makes sense!
Yeah I once saw an interview where he said his portrayal of his own character’s Scottish father in “So I married and axe murderer” was based on his real life Scottish father

I live in the LA area. We always hear rumors about the actors and it’s amazing how most of them turn out to be true. Harvey Weinstein, Ellen, Kevin Spacey, Bill MUrray and Chevy Chase turned out to be accurate rumors. Keanu Reeves is very nice and has a great reputation.

The most entertaining part is watching Simon read all the jokes that he totally doesn't catch.
Maybe that is why he says I don't know so often.
What some celebrities don't understand is what my grandmother told me " It's nice to be important but it's important to be nice".

He was 1000% right!
The Caravan joke is a reference to Mike and Dana's long time (deceased) co-star, Chris Farley. One of Mr. Farley's most famous lines is that you will end up living in a van down by the river subsisting off government cheese.
One day Simon's gonna have a channel called "When Siri Is A Twat and Doesn't Listen"
dan aykroyd lives near my home town, and while i never met him, he used to get flowers from the florist i worked at in college, he could be rude, but his mom is also a regular so if he was ever rude in the store, my collegue ( a few years younger than dan) would basically call and tell on him for being impolite to the owner (who is just the nicest bubbly lady)
I always think it's so funny that Simon doesn't know anything about popular culture. But then I start thinking about it and I'm like, maybe I'm the weird one because I know too much about this stuff. Rather than discounting the way celebrities act with their own families and their personal lives, I think it actually reveals their true character. It's one thing if you treat random strangers like crap but if you talk to your own family like that, or if you keep your own sister from seeing her dying mother, I think that's actually something worth looking at.
True. Look at MeaGain Markle
I think it sort of says something if you think it’s fine to stop strangers from seeing their dying mom? Or maybe I’m misunderstanding your comment. Like I don’t think you’re excused from being a dick regardless or who it is.

The amount of things Simon is culturally unaware of is truly staggering.
mostly any movie background, coming up here. never watched Pretty Woman, didn't realize there was more than one Baldwin, missed that Mike Myers was playing Dr.
Given what a pile of shit modern "culture" is, being culturally unaware is probably a plus.
Wow, this is why I come here. Funny, entertaining, and just pure class. The way you delicately yet firmly avoided a section of your own scripts was very kind. Cheers sir.

It's time for Danny to write a script about Bill Murray.

They'd be better off covering celebrities that are decent, civilized human beings. We can then go ahead & assume the rest are the dickheads. Once someone achieves celebrity status, becoming a dickhead seems to be an unavoidable occupational hazard.
It would be shorter to list those who are not total dickheads.

It's always been that way. Just like music on the radio.
Today it's terrible. Past 7 or 8 years have been terrible. In the early 2010s and before it was pretty great. It's just been on the air too long at this point lol.

*Daniel:* The one everyone forgets about. He did some acting, but very little.
Wasnt Stephen in Usual Suspects?
And then there's Adam Baldwin...
