I met Mike Meyers when I was 9yrs old and was an extra on the movie So I Married an Ax Murderer. He was the nicest guy in the world. Took me 2 days to build up the nerve to ask him for his autograph. He said, "I would love to, do you have anything to write on?" Both of us were in kilts with no pockets and there wasn't anything handy so he told me he'd find something and get it to me before my last day. 2 days went by and still no autograph, it was my last day on set and we wrapped the last scene I would be in (wedding scene). My dad who was also an extra could see how crushed I was and said "lets just see if he's in his trailer." We went to his trailer and knocked. He opened the door kind of flustered, they were in the middle of re-writing some scenes and he didn't ask me why I was there or who I was he just held up a finger meaning "one sec" and came back with a Waynes World glossy of him and it was already signed, "To John party on Mike Meyers". He didn't even ask me what my name was again. Legend! I'm now in my 40's and still have the autograph. Still love the guy

      Sounds very Mike Meyers.
All of the stuff I've ever heard about him is that he can be difficult to work with creatively, but a wonderful person to work for as a subordinate or meet as a fan.
Seems his dickish side only comes out when butting heads with his peers, but he's great with everyone else.

Julia Robert's reputation is one of the most notorious "secrets" in the entertainment industry. Part of the reason her PR team pushed the "America's Sweetheart" persona so hard was because she was considered such a nightmare to work with by cast, crew, and anyone else unfortunate enough to get in her way. I've been told stories by friends in the industry of her weeping uncontrollably as a manipulation tactic, having screaming tantrums while filming is supposed to be happening, verbally abusing anyone she doesn't like, purposely humiliating people in public, flirting with married men in front of their wives on numerous occasions, and canoodling with directors while trying to cut other actresses' screentime behind their backs.

Today it's terrible. Past 7 or 8 years have been terrible. In the early 2010s and before it was pretty great. It's just been on the air too long at this point lol.

I got into a Studio C binge a while back. I finished all of the funny stuff, though, and have moved on. Still got several hours of solid humor from them.

It really depends on the years… I’ve been watching sporadically for over 25 years, whenever I like the host and/or musical guest and it’s very inconsistent :/

Yeah, there are 4 Baldwin bros:
*Alec:* the one in this vid
*William:* Another actor. Most active in the late 80s and early 90s. Not sure what he's up to now.
*Stephen:* Was an actor, not sure if he's still in the biz. Mostly did stoner-type comedies in the 90s. Probably most famous role was Bio Dome with Pauley Shore. Last I heard, he sobered up and found religion, and kind of went a bit nuts with both.
*Daniel:* The one everyone forgets about. He did some acting, but very little.

True. But you gotta give him credit for correctly describing New York . As crazy as the Baldwin clan is at least we can just chalk it up to "they're Canadian treasures 🤷‍♀️" or atleast according to Southpark 🤣

Oh my gosh, seen a few of your other vids, about stuff not so trendy, and this was refreshing...the point at which you realized Mike Meyers is DR Evil, seeing the delight on your face made me happy, and laugh, as I thought everyone knew that...Made me feel a little smarter, which is usually not the case after watching your vids, LOL...

Honestly Simon finding everything he thought about Mike Myers to be wrong, is the best thing ever. Hes Canadian. He plays both Austin and dr evil. But he also plays fat bastard. He’s Shrek. He’s the cat in the hat. And most importantly. He is Canadian.

If I hadn’t known he was English I would have believed he was American. Have you seen the video where the producer said they didn’t want a non American pretending to be American to get the part and thought that Hugh Laurie was really American.

Hugh Laurie's accent was impeccable. I remember i saw him in something else once (a British show but don't remember what) and lost my mind about how good he was at the English accent, then my dad told me he was English and shocked to high hell 😅😂

A friend of mine met jack black somewhere he was having a bad day and was an ass. He went back to the coffee shop and asked if the guy he was mean to was a regular. He was. From what I understand he came back often trying to catch him and apologize.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but Mike Myers’s father was British so that’s why his British accent was so well done despite the exaggerated aspect for the character of Austin Powers.
