I feel like this happens so often in this game when there are bots in multiplayer. The humans don't see the bots as threats so they keep trying to kill the other human players even when a bot controls two continents.

Cos' they are not a threat. Especially in progressive. They go for continents and split stacks to guard positions with smaller number of troops while burning their own stacks on anything that they can win against even slightly. That's the worst play u could possibly go for and very easy to mop up if u know how.

Drew, you may not realize it, but Fixed card risk and Progressive card risk are two entirely different games. If you want to play progressive card matches, you will definitely need to turn off those combat animations. Prog wins almost always come down to A) those who understand that having continents is irrelevant, you just need to survive in multiple places in order to trade in cards and make kills to get more cards; and B) the speed with which you can attack and take territories.
If you're playing progressive cards and still using combat animations and going for continents, you are almost guaranteed to lose the moment you play against someone with even the slightest shred of skill

Pro tip: Put atleast 2 stacks in all your regions as 2 stacks have a high chance of more enemy troop lose such that enemy can't roll over you in one turn if they get past your defenses.

Yes and no. You're right when you say that continents don't matter. However, you really want to have multiple stacks around the map in order to make an attack wherever the best opportunity is rather than be stuck in just one place. Also, having stacks in multiple parts of the map makes it difficult for any single opponent to kill you
