I'm glad you got your table saw fixed up. I was hoping you wouldn't have to scrap it. The thing I don't understand is why you didn't clean up all that saw dust on the saw before you took it apart! Parts of the moving mechanism still need to be cleaned up also; anything that moves needs grease, oil or both. Shafts need to be cleaned of any rust on them. In other words, make it look like it just came out of the factory! Things just work better when they're clean. Looking forward to seeing part 2 of this project. :)
Hello. Thank you for watching the video and leaving a comment. I spent probably 30 minutes before I started recording cleaning with an air compressor and shop vac. Inches and inches of sawdust. The amount left was insignificant. The problem was the teeth. Do you have oil that grows gear teeth? If so I need some please. Cleaning any further was pointless until I figured how far I was going to go. Thanks again for the comment.
