You can just rely on medication, and you should never think that a pill is going to be “life changing”. That’s your issue, and that’s why you keep “feeling” like these pills are letting you down. You should take psychology courses, they will explain why you’re feeling what you’re feeling and help you be able to understand other people as well.
So I'm just wondering, if you don't take the anti-psychotic, then are you scared of what might happen if something really crazy happens? I'm not sure how those pills work or if they make shit even worse for you. I just hope that you don't fall into a darker place.
Maria Victoria Jimenez im not really worried about it. My psychotic symptoms aren’t very intense. I’ve only had 2 episodes and they weren’t too bad. I was diagnosed with an unspecified personality disorder with borderline, paranoid, and schizotypal traits so my psychotic symptoms are likely to stem from personality and thought processes rather than a chemical imbalance. If I notice symptoms worsening I’ll start anti-psychotics but I’m going to let the Zoloft settle and see how I feel before I start adding any other medication. It’ll also help me monitor my side effects too
