Thanks for the video ! I discovered one on my grandfathers garage. Looks like it hadn't been touched since he passed away about 20 years ago, in fact, it probably hadn't been touched in 30 years. I'm going to clean it up and use it. Interesting that you noted that these were primarily intended as Fresh Water reels rather than salt. What would be a good size line to use on this reel ?

I think 8-10 pound test mono would work well on the reel. These were primarily meant for bays and lakes and not deep drop fishing - Dennis

No - this reel is a direct drive without a drag or anti-reverse.
