5:24 I’d say so…. yeah definitely say so. This candy chrome is absolutely breathtaking. Those pedals and cranks and rims 🤯🤯. You got great taste on color schemes bro.
He has 100% worked super hard for what heʻs got, going above and beyond what most people would do! Super good guy, very down to earth. It was a blast talking to him! Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏻
Great idea! This is definitely happening because Bernie has been super busy so we haven’t been able to get together much lately. Will have to do some solo videos! Thanks for watching!! 🤙🏼
I’m really glad to see that you went with all the Bullseye parts ( I’m a big fan ) because they are so pricey. I really think you nailed the look of this bike ! I’ve been working on a Bullseye tribute bike with my 06’ GT power series 24” in white with blue accents and I’ve taken some hints from you as far as if you have white you want to merge into blue and vice versa….anyway keep up the content I enjoy watching…..peace
I think my next build will be a GT Eddie Fiola tribute bike. I just got the Pro Performer in that funky multicolor paint scheme and Iʻm gonna paint it yellow to match what he rode back in the day.🤙🏻
Threaded bottom brackets that are hard to get on are sometimes because the paint gets in the threads. If the bb cup doesn't thread in easily, take the bike to a local bike shop that has the tools for thread chasing. Call them ask if they have a thread chaser for Euro bb, and if so how much it will cost. It's usually around $20 to $30. I got one frame done for $15. The edge of the bb shell might also need to be faced. More bike shops will have chasing tools than facing tools. Facing the shell will cost more. It's usually only necessary on higher end bikes, but if the fabricator did a really bad job it might be necessary. That bike is awesome! Cheers!
My man coming in with the best bike mechanic knowledge once again! I am definitely going to look into that on the next build just to be safe. I hope one of my local bike shops can do it! Thanks for sharing that awesome tip and for watching another one! Appreciate you brother! 🤙🏻
@@cruisinginthe808 Only needed if they get stuck! Most SE bikes I've worked on are fine. I've worked on several Thrones that needed the threads cleaned up.
That's why I like Sunday bike frames, they do post welding/ painting machining to the head set & bottom bracket, & can't beat ANY BIKE that has a lifetime warranty! 💯👍
I hate to be a “Yes Man” or butt kisser, but this bike is just beautiful and I wouldn’t change a thing. 🤩 Some crazy good parts in there and those pedals are insanely cool!!! You really nailed it on this build. 💯🙌👊
Thanks man! I really like how it ended up too. I did swap out the red chain from the first install as the red on that one was a tad too bright. Thanks for taking the time to share that comment and for watching another one! 🤙🏻
Thanks man! Yes, those are some custom stickers for the cranks that I got off of eBay. Just do a search on eBay for Redline Flight Crank Stickers and they should pop up. They arenʻt cheap though. I think I paid like $10 plus another $5 for shipping? Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏻
I am building a Floval Flyer and may put Redline cranks on it but with the custom stickers you mentioned. I have been out of the BMX scene since I was a teenager, so I am not too familiar with all the new products available, but was happy to see some old school parts, like redline flight cranks are still available....never could afford them, lol....but like you said, I got grown up money now, LOL.....many Mahalos for what you guys do. @@cruisinginthe808
Appreciate that man! Same here, I could never afford those cranks either as a kid. Nice to be able to buy stuff we couldnʻt now as an adult! Thanks for the support!
For this type of headset where itʻs integrated, you donʻt really need to since the bearings are all sealed. The just sort of sit on the top and bottom of the headset. If you had the regular old school cup headset, then yes, I would put grease in there first. Thanks for that comment and I hope that helped! Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
The only thing is, I noticed that the black stem bolts look like they're already getting some of that Hawaii rust. Maybe stainless steel? or TITANIUM !!!?🤩🤑💲Time to smash some more cans.
Good eyes! Yep, if it’s not stainless steel or titanium, you can count on them to rust at some point. I even have chrome plated rims that are just falling apart. The chrome is flaking off and it’s driving me insane! Yep, gotta smash more cans!! 🤙🏼
@@cruisinginthe808 I had a 20” in the 80s and thinking about building something 26”. Got the itch to build a bike like I did as a kid lol. I have a 24” SoCal Flyer but thinking something 26”. Thx for the reply 👍👍
Are they? Man, thatʻs pretty awesome. I kinda wish they would make a 26" set of mags but I think that diameter is too big. Is Planet BMX bringing in the 29s? Thanks for sharing that and for watching! 🤙🏻
Such a beautiful build! Visually it’s perfect! Nothing I would change in regards to the looks but yeah, those rims kinda do suck, but they are beautiful!
They do look really nice but as far an maintaining them? Not so much!😂 As nice as this bike is I still want to ride it so Iʻll just have to pick my rides carefully. Thanks for sharing that comment and for watching! 🤙🏻
Great looking bike, love bike checks…
People don’t know how much work it really is to build a bike with this much detail. Excellent work!
Thanks man! You would definitely know! Appreciate the support! 🤙🏻
Love both your guys' channel, & from your channel I met a pretty good buddy, Wes, who makes all your dice, he's a really cool guy! 👍

Thanks for the suggestion! We are actually thinking of doing one comparing the 24, 26, and 29 so stay tuned!
