Well in 5 try's you can't win one FMVP... Like Damn, if you're the Greatest shooter of All-time and a top 5 PG you should at least be able to win one FMVP. So as a fan of Steph I'm just a little disappointed in that. And had they won in '19 Klay was gonna be the FMVP because he outplayed Steph.
One thing I have is that I find either ppl don’t know he had an injury in 2016 or they act like he couldn’t walk. Yes he got not enough time to recover but he was perfectly fine up until they had a 3-1 lead and blew it than suddenly when he was struggling it was his injury

@ATL 1 because without a good enough shooter like klay the whole entire opposing team is gonna pay attention to curry. curry needs some shooters in order to be super effective

ATL 1 The warriors have a losing record without steph. Even with kd klay and draymond they STILL have a losing record. Klay cant play without curry. This is like ur 15th hate comment, stfu.
I see both sides. Most of the time, I feel like he is criminally underrated, and unfairly criticized. But some of todays kids think he is greater than MJ.
Steph is the one player I can think of who’s won more than one MVP and won more than one championship that people regularly discredit because of the teammates (really, a single teammate) that he had around him.
Rusty, I am a massive fan of your channel. It has been part of what got me through some tough times and the last moment of true happiness I had was listening to your takes whilst enjoying the sun. As someone who is a fan in Europe rather than the USA I really hope that you can make some videos slightly earlier on in the day as I think it would help you brake into the market of european basketball fans, there are a lot of us, at the moment with your current timing your videos come out around 1am in the UK which is like 2/3am in the rest of europe. Goodluck with your channel you deserve not just 100K subs but 100M.
Being over or underrated isn’t about how good you actually are. It’s about how good people view you as being. Steph Curry is definitely OVERRATED not because he isn’t good... he’s GREAT! But he’s view as better than he actually is, especially by the media.
people never bring up the fact he played in the aba won mvps titles there in his prime and made 4 finals...losing 2 to showtime....dr. j is so underrated..if he never played in the aba he has at least 2 titles 3 mvps and another scoring title...book it...hes a top 15 player ever...i count his aba days..he was special...hes top 14 honestly right now for me...he may be top 13 range talent wise
@The Ultimate I would definitely take Harden over Rose, he's someone I don't have to worry about when it comes to health issues, and still consistently lead teams to 50+ wins every season.
A lot of new NBA fans really disrespect Curry bc he is playing with Warriors, but they never seen and people in general forgot the Unanimous MVP Steph Curry, and even 2015 playoffs Steph Curry
A lot of people say he is not the best offensive player in the game. That's wrong, so they are underrating him. They probably say that he's worse on defense than he actually is, so he is underrated
You're forgetting that Bogut got hurt too when they blew the 3-1 lead. He was a key rim protector and without him, LeBron and Kyrie had a field day attacking the rim over the next set of games
I seriously don't get it, people shit on Curry for not having a FMVP, yet they use him to discredit KD, like seriously, if you wanta have a hot take, at least don't contradict your own goddam opinion
His finishing ability isn't just due to his shooting threat really. He has the feel to throw the ball off the glass on correct spot, has the balance after absorbing contact and never go out of control. Why did he became so good on 2013-2014 season? He polished his runners and floaters
Rusty! I'm a big fan. Really respect your videos, still can't believe you have less than 100k subs at this point. Thanks for helping make this pandemic a little more bearable, it's hit harder than most.
I liked the video! I think that curry has had a huge impact on how the game is played, but idk if I would consider him to have the most impact. Iverson changed the way that players dribble today. There is an NBA open court video on UA-cam where Isiah Thomas (Pistons) explains it well. Before Iverson, players who were considered to have a good handle were those who didn't get stripped easily and could drive at will. Today the view on handles is completely different. Today, fans determine the good dribblers by what kind of flashy moves they can do, and how many ankles they have broken.
My only issue is people saying Curry completely changed the game like if before the 2014 season it was still big man post up basketball, players like Dirk paved the path that Curry ran on. His 2016 season being unanimous MVP rubs me a wrong way because I've seen so many great seasons but that was still a top 10 season from any player ever. Greatest 3 point shooter of all time and I think his game will be appreciated more and more with time but to me he's overrated when people about him like a top 10 player ever.
I agree, Curry has revolutionized the game. His impact will be a player who will go down in history for this. I am not sure if having him out of one's top ten is entirely unreasonable, though. Definitely top 20, definitely an all star. I think it's important to think, who do you put above him to say this. His hype and success are partially due to him having an under rated team around him. Green and Thompson are hall of Famer, and he had Durant, an all time great, for a few years, as well. I think the players, in no particular order, I put as better than Curry would be Lebron, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Dru Holiday (I think he's a more complete player), Russell Westbrook, and James Harden. There are arguments to put him ahead of the last 2, but it's just where I sit. I think guys like KAT, Embide, Simmons, and Brandon Ingram could wind up being better than Curry, but they just haven't tapped that potential just yet. I think Besl, in a better system, could wind up better than him. If Wiggins ever reaches his potential, he has far more natural talent overall, could get there m, too. I almost put Clay above Curry, 2, but it just didn't feel right. I feel Clay can shoot at a comparable level to Curry, but his defense is top 10 in the league while Curry is about an average defender. Curry gets the edge in my feelings due to his overall leadership. I think that's an underestimated aspect when rating players. It's partly why buts like Wiggins and KAT don't sit higher than Curry on my list. Anyways, great video. I can't say I truly disagree with your take in any substantive way. I look forward to more like this one.
i tried playing off ball offense like curry does in my gym pickup game, but omg you get tired so fast, and in addition to that, you gotta make the shots, i find it crazy how he is able to shoot that accurately off the dribble, while running around screens and being the primary facilator of the warriors offense
Changed how basketball is played, the only unanimous MVP (yet), led his team to a 73-9 season (got injured in the playoffs), broke countless three-point records, why do some people still question his legacy? Even worse, not include him in the top 5/top 10 current players (you can exclude him this season, for, you know, his hand...)
Curry is a Underrated Player Tbh He showed The Nba Whats the 3pt means Won 3 rings 2x MVP Definitely a All star Starter He proves He is a Truely Influencer to the NBA
Steph is over rated. He is a great player who was made unstoppable by the system he played in. If you sit him on a different (bad) team he would have great stats but the team wouldn’t be a title contender. The BEST players can turn a bad team into a title contender and that’s just not Steph.
I think Steph is properly rated and the thing people don’t realize that Steph not only revolutionized the NBA game, but the game of basketball as a whole all the way down to bitty ball levels. Basketball everywhere revolves around the three ball. When I was younger, everyone wanted to dunk. I’m twenty years old now and everyone as soon as they walk into the gym launches a 40 footer. I’m not even a Steph fan, but what he’s done for the game is revolutionary.
The Warrior who is criminally underrated is the 6'7 shooting guard who always takes the toughest defensive assignment, hits 3's like a magician, has the record for 3's made in a game, and is overly concerned with scaffolding - Klay Thompson. Without Klay's consistency and defense, Curry would be a really good version of Trae Young and the Warriors would be the west coast Hawks. That said, Curry is nasty and those 2 combined with Green and either of the 2 championship small forwards they had from 2015 until last year, plus a serviceable center and decent coaching makes for a championship squad.
What you can say for Steph's game is that even if Basketball had no 3pt line his 4 year peak would be similar to Boston Celtics Sam Jones 4 year peak with better assist numbers. Even with no 3pt line spacing is important as the Deep shots of Curry would allow space for mid range shots of other players off the cut. Assuming that no other rules changed. It would mean Steph would have great value as he makes so many more distance shots than most guards. If we look at guards traditionally for their whole career they make lower 40s fg percentage and this is due to their requirement to shoot long range shots (Michael Jordan goes against this but he took the ball to the rim at a high rate for most of his career but his mid range was about .45.) I think that in most eras Curry would be an important PG in that era and would be competative. I can not say that he would make a contender without the right system around him as the Warriors did, however I think every great player has to have the right team and system round them to make something of the team. Ultimately you need to choose someone's skill set to build off.
my thing is people prop him up like he beat a healthy 2015 grizzlies pelicans cavaliers or rockets team..he did not play a single starting pg in the playoffs more than a couple games that run as the lead guy without kd in route to a title as jrue beverly kyrie and conley all missed games or the entire series and were hampered with injuries in those series in the couple games conley and kyrie combined played...and then his team was 6-1 without him in the 2016 playoffs reminder and in the 2017 season kawhi got hurt and kd was on his team plus in 2018 cp3 got hurt kyrie was hurt out east for boston when they had a cance without him to make the finals and to top it off he left the cavs a team the warriors got kd for to handle lebron..which kinda ruins their legacy cause kyrie left so now kd feels like overkill......i just don't think the curry playoff resume is as great as people prop it up to be especially the teams he beat with kd and his first mvp season was just not that impressive stats wise and his lack of finals mvps hurt him.....what he did to the 2019 blazers was probably his best series ever sweeping them without kd in the west finals when they were healthy ...i give him props for that....but people pretend like he beat a healthy 2015 cavaliers rockets pelicans or grizzlies team..he did not they act like he beat a healthy 2018 rockets team or went through boston with kyrie which he did not he got the cruddy cavaliers in 2017 kawhi got hurt ...i get it in 2019 the warriors had injuries but it was a matter of time those long runs finally impacted their stars who due to the coach were forced to play heavy minutes cause they did not trust their bench due to the coach being horrible at developing guys and relying on stars ...predictably they got hurt...price of a couple titles
@@razkable honestly, injuries are part of the game and part of a player's career. That's why Greg Oden or D Rose are not the goat right now, because of injuries. So we can't go hack and put an asterisks on people's careers because of injury. It's just part of the game. (I mean if anything, Curry has 5 titles if his team isn't injured, so let's not ignore injuries)
@@razkable my thing is people prop lebron like he beat an entire warriors team... he didnt he beat a warriors team who had 3 front court players miss games or get injured during the series. The warriors are a jump shooting team aka perimeter play. Before game 5 lebron was averaging like 23 points a game. Then bogut Draymond and iggy get injured and he goes crazy. And that's not even mentioning Curry's KNEE. Lol curry is 6'3 skinny
It’s funny how people say Stephen Curry can’t carry a trash team to 45 wins but yet we saw him lead a team to 73 wins and act like he’s always been apart of a superteam
This video is why I have Curry in my top 15-20 all time His Impact on the game in unreal. I hope this man gets another Championship to prove His Legacy because he needs it. I've seen people put Steph not even in their top 3 PGs all time and I think it's Disrespectful. This man will be missed as a player when he retires.
Good stuff rusty buckets. When are you going to watch another basketball movie for your film channel? Might I suggest watching Like Mike for your next movie on that channel.
Definitely Underrated I've very rarely seen people putting him at top 10 All time or Above Magic as A Point Guard but I've heard people say he's not top 20 or Top 30 All Time And Seen Guys Like Isiah Thomas or John Stockton at all time Point Guard's List
Curry did change how the NBA is played but not by himself. Thompson, Kerr and Draymond changed it with him. Like you said, Golden State didn't break until Kerr became the headcoach.
Kyle Lowry would be an interesting player to talk about. Many people hate on him for some reason (Maybe his playoff performances with DeMar). He’s definitely talented though.
Curry’s handles, finishing and midrange game is vastly underrated. He could easily play like players like kyrie and harden. However since KD joined we see him Iso less and he’s less flashy on his handle. His handle is honestly not all that far from kyries
I agree about the Impact thing MJ had Huge Impact on the Game too But his Main Impact was that he made NBA Mainstream which is of course a Huge Accomplishment that has a Huge Factor on him being the GOAT however teams were Still Center Based after Jordan Blew Up the League didn't really become Guard Based and ISO based till the 2000s On the other Hand it only took a Couple years for every team to Double their 3 point attempts after Curry and one more for People to Criticize Greg Popovich for not shooting enough 3s
Underrated for sure because people forget how dominant he has been the past 6-7 years. People also dont realize his impact on the way the game is played and how it will undoubtedly inspire a new generation of players with his playstyle.
Curry is one of the best shooters not just that hes also a good playmaker who can move the defense also a okay defender he even had the most efficient 50/40/90 seasons while shooting around 60 percent so hes underrated
He is elite off ball he is the greatest shooter of all time he changed the game of basketball he is an all time great ball handler he is a great passer and makes a huge impact for his team and lead his team to 3 titles
My suggestion on another player you could do this for would be Kyle Lowery or LaMarcus Aldridge but those videos might not get great views so a more well known guy even though those players are both all-star caliber players year in and year out but you could go with Embid or Simmons because I think they are always interesting to talk about tbh in short I’d say Embid is probably underrated because with the right fit on a team he can be the best player on a championship team as a center in 2020 and but between him KAT and Jokic it depends on the day on whose the best and conning from a nuggets fan KAT has most potential then Embid then Jokic but you can also talk about his injuries, and Simmons I think he has a top 10-15 player all time potential but he can’t shoot on a mini hook I’d assume yet his defense is I feel underrated being at worst a top 5 defensive guard in the league and if he had spacing which him and Embid both need but that’s a whole other conversation regardless if he had proper spacing he could make a team at least as good as Giannis does if not possibly better.
lillard is curry without the playoff or regular season success...thats what separates true goats ..wins and losses....curry has won 67 and 73 games and a title without kd...he beat dame without kd two series and swpet him with kd once...curry lost 1 total game to him in 11 tries in 3 series.....thats why damian is not up there
Green got suspended for one game in the finals and I absolutely hate the narrative that is pushed because of that. The Cavs won that series fair and square and there’s literally zero asterisks that can be placed on that title.
Imo George Mikan had the biggest impact in NBA history on how the game was played. They added the goaltending rule due to him, and widened the paint area because of him. He was the reason the adage "you need a star big man to win a championship" was held until the Micheal Jordan Bull's teams
Can you do one on Kawhi, just because some people seem to consider him the best player in the league right now, and other people think that he's not even top 3(when KD is fit) so I'd like to hear what you think
Wilt paved the way for centers to dominate the league Dr j literally changed how guards played before him guards were not supposed to be flashy and show there athletic abilities
In terms of his skills, he's really underrated. People tend to think that's it's some kind of a miracle and Steph took the ball and started hitting shots like crazy. No, he had good enviroment and genes and opportunities to develop his skills, but still, he's the one that made the hardwork. Also he's underrated in terms of passing (he could easily have 10+ assists as he was close to those numbers but he and Kerr know that isn't good for the team) but I disagree with statement that he's a great playmaker, because of his gravity. I get the point that he makes his team better this way, but I wouldn't call Shaq or Giannis great playmakers because they're so dominant in the paint that they can/could pass of to the open shooter. It's a great value but I wouldn't call this playmaking, same with Draymond Green's assists number, we need a context to know why he was averaging many assists. Great playmakers are guys like CP3, Nash, Kidd, Rubio or Doncic, they make your teammates great just by orchestrating an offense and making right pass at the right time. Curry isn't far behind that kind of playmaking, but I still wouldn't consider him that guy, there is a reason why he's the greatest SHOOTER of all time. About the thing about not everyone calling him the greatest shooter (yet), I think it's because he's still playing and people don't like to give "titles" when someone's still playing. I have no doubt that if Curry would finnish his career in next 2 years for some reason, many people would change the tide and call him the greatest shooter. And rating him if he's top 5, top 3, top 10 or whatever, it'll always be hard because there is no official criteria. For someone versatility on offense or defense is what makes you the best, for someone, accolades, for another person, dominance so we'll never know.

@ATL 1 because without a good enough shooter like klay the whole entire opposing team is gonna pay attention to curry. curry needs some shooters in order to be super effective
@ATL 1 nah he's still insanely good
ATL 1 scored 40+ without klay in the finals
48 pts, 8rb, 7ast without klay against a tier 1 defensive raptors team in the finals. But yup u are 100% correct that Curry is trash without Klay.😭😭😭😭😭
ATL 1 The warriors have a losing record without steph. Even with kd klay and draymond they STILL have a losing record. Klay cant play without curry. This is like ur 15th hate comment, stfu.
Please do Damian Lillard. I think it’s a really good time to do him.
PAUSE
I see both sides.
Most of the time, I feel like he is criminally underrated, and unfairly criticized.
But some of todays kids think he is greater than MJ.
But some of the old heads think rick Barry is better so idk
Better is true greater no better just meen better player not higher all timd
That clip of the podcast had me laughing, definitely gonna check the podcast out
2 of my favorite things on UA-cam Rusty talking NBA, and the chef
Mans said he doesn’t mean porn 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Steph is the one player I can think of who’s won more than one MVP and won more than one championship that people regularly discredit because of the teammates (really, a single teammate) that he had around him.
Look at Curry man, so inspirational
Rusty,
I am a massive fan of your channel.
Goodluck with your channel you deserve not just 100K subs but 100M.
this channel is underrated
learned about your channel recently and i ended up watching like 15-20 videos in a few days ....good work!! keep it up!!
Being over or underrated isn’t about how good you actually are. It’s about how good people view you as being. Steph Curry is definitely OVERRATED not because he isn’t good... he’s GREAT! But he’s view as better than he actually is, especially by the media.
Hes ok at shooting
Eh I think JR Smith is definitely better
Seth’s better
Eh hes barley league average hes just as much a shot chucker as westbrook
Flights better
who?
Dr. J had an huge impact that is underrated
people never bring up the fact he played in the aba won mvps titles there in his prime and made 4 finals...losing 2 to showtime....dr. j is so underrated..if he never played in the aba he has at least 2 titles 3 mvps and another scoring title...book it...hes a top 15 player ever...i count his aba days..he was special...hes top 14 honestly right now for me...he may be top 13 range talent wise
Top 5 players of the ENTIRE 2010's
1. LeBron
2. Curry
3. Durant
4. Kawhi
5. Harden
@The Ultimate I would definitely take Harden over Rose, he's someone I don't have to worry about when it comes to health issues, and still consistently lead teams to 50+ wins every season.
you put kd under curry?..nah bro that ain't right
A lot of new NBA fans really disrespect Curry bc he is playing with Warriors, but they never seen and people in general forgot the Unanimous MVP Steph Curry, and even 2015 playoffs Steph Curry
Steph is honestly underrated cause of the dumb criticisms he has
The fmvps thing is dumb but, the KD thing is understandable
It's more of a knock on KD legacy than curry
“Just a shooter” and “No Fmvps” are the dumbest ones
A lot of people say he is not the best offensive player in the game. That's wrong, so they are underrating him. They probably say that he's worse on defense than he actually is, so he is underrated
Let's say if I were a GM, and a Steph Curry is available, I'd pick him over any other guards
Underrated & Disrespected
You're forgetting that Bogut got hurt too when they blew the 3-1 lead. He was a key rim protector and without him, LeBron and Kyrie had a field day attacking the rim over the next set of games
Flight “ look at curry man so inspirational” btw can’t believe there’s no flight jokes
Curry is a top 4 player, no questions asked.
Underrated. Curry might be the most influential player of this decade and hes severely underrated as a clutch player too.
No cap but Lebron is still better in my opinion
And he is better than kd
King Gaming duh🙄
@@okeythegoat2332 hell no kd is almost better than mj in scoring
Lemme get the stats I will be back
Keep these going man. Love these vids
I seriously don't get it, people shit on Curry for not having a FMVP, yet they use him to discredit KD, like seriously, if you wanta have a hot take, at least don't contradict your own goddam opinion
I dont know if hes underrated but he is hated on wayyyyy to much but then some people overrate him to compensate and it just becomes confusing
Look at curry man so inspirational
Can’t wait for the “OmG Russ WEstBroOK iS WaY BeTTer 🤤😤” nonsense
7:02 Kevin Love trying to close out looks like he's horrified. Lol
O! I'd love to hear your thoughts on CP3 or Jimmy Butler 😀
look at curry man so inspirational
Curry shooting elevated his game 100%
Ball handling B+ to A+
Finishing B to A
Playmaking B+ to A+
Defense C to B
defense d-
I liked the video!
The player that literally changed the game was Wilt. LITERALLY, NBA had changed rules a dozen times in order to make it harder for him.
@3:40 Nooooo you done f’d up Rusty
You can only give the asterisk out under severe circumstances, *pain*-2020
100k subscribers? You’ll definitely have at least 150k your videos are so good
Steph Curry retired a whole position in the game of basketball. Traditional Big-Man is just done now.
Curry is a Underrated Player Tbh He showed The Nba Whats the 3pt means Won 3 rings 2x MVP Definitely a All star Starter He proves He is a Truely Influencer to the NBA
Honestly I think the fact that Steph made 402 threes in 2016 while shooting 45% is extremely underrated.
Steph is over rated. He is a great player who was made unstoppable by the system he played in. If you sit him on a different (bad) team he would have great stats but the team wouldn’t be a title contender. The BEST players can turn a bad team into a title contender and that’s just not Steph.
He is the system
Lol. Before Steph where were the warriors?
Such an underrated UA-camr! Excited for the podcast that clip was hilarious 😂
Luv you Rusty. Keep it up 💪
Dang people actually think Stephen Curry is underrated. Like wtf. He is just perfectylly rated. Not over or under
my thing is people prop him up like he beat a healthy 2015 grizzlies pelicans cavaliers or rockets team..he did not play a single starting pg in the playoffs more than a couple games that run as the lead guy without kd in route to a title as jrue beverly kyrie and conley all missed games or the entire series and were hampered with injuries in those series in the couple games conley and kyrie combined played...and then his team was 6-1 without him in the 2016 playoffs reminder and in the 2017 season kawhi got hurt and kd was on his team plus in 2018 cp3 got hurt kyrie was hurt out east for boston when they had a cance without him to make the finals and to top it off he left the cavs a team the warriors got kd for to handle lebron..which kinda ruins their legacy cause kyrie left so now kd feels like overkill......i just don't think the curry playoff resume is as great as people prop it up to be especially the teams he beat with kd and his first mvp season was just not that impressive stats wise and his lack of finals mvps hurt him.....what he did to the 2019 blazers was probably his best series ever sweeping them without kd in the west finals when they were healthy ...i give him props for that....but people pretend like he beat a healthy 2015 cavaliers rockets pelicans or grizzlies team..he did not they act like he beat a healthy 2018 rockets team or went through boston with kyrie which he did not he got the cruddy cavaliers in 2017 kawhi got hurt ...i get it in 2019 the warriors had injuries but it was a matter of time those long runs finally impacted their stars who due to the coach were forced to play heavy minutes cause they did not trust their bench due to the coach being horrible at developing guys and relying on stars ...predictably they got hurt...price of a couple titles
Asmosis Jones so you think he is overrated
Look at Curry man, so inspirational! He's got a perfect skin man, no signs of receding hairline
The only thing overrated about Steph Curry is his size, right? He’s 6’3” 190lbs. And he’s not freakishly athletic. That’s it.
tupac shaqueer I’m basically talking about him vs Magic Johnson
It’s funny how people say Stephen Curry can’t carry a trash team to 45 wins but yet we saw him lead a team to 73 wins and act like he’s always been apart of a superteam
This video is why I have Curry in my top 15-20 all time
His Impact on the game in unreal. I hope this man gets another Championship to prove His Legacy because he needs it. I've seen people put Steph not even in their top 3 PGs all time and I think it's Disrespectful. This man will be missed as a player when he retires.
Buggin
Good stuff rusty buckets. When are you going to watch another basketball movie for your film channel?
Might I suggest watching Like Mike for your next movie on that channel.
Definitely Underrated
I've very rarely seen people putting him at top 10 All time or Above Magic as A Point Guard but I've heard people say he's not top 20 or Top 30 All Time
And Seen Guys Like Isiah Thomas or John Stockton at all time Point Guard's List
Curry did change how the NBA is played but not by himself. Thompson, Kerr and Draymond changed it with him. Like you said, Golden State didn't break until Kerr became the headcoach.
We all know when Rusty said Video Production, he def meant ****. He was Johnny Sins before Johnny Sins
His handle is honestly not all that far from kyries
in 2013, he lead the team to upset 3 seed biggest and force 6 to the spurs. in 2014 forced 7 on clipps with Bogut injured.
I agree about the Impact thing
MJ had Huge Impact on the Game too
But his Main Impact was that he made NBA Mainstream which is of course a Huge Accomplishment that has a Huge Factor on him being the GOAT however teams were Still Center Based after Jordan Blew Up the League didn't really become Guard Based and ISO based till the 2000s
On the other Hand it only took a Couple years for every team to Double their 3 point attempts after Curry and one more for People to Criticize Greg Popovich for not shooting enough 3s
I lost what hair I had left on my head from that podcast clip
agree with all the points; he's become mildly underrated after public opinion shifted too much after 2017
Underrated for sure because people forget how dominant he has been the past 6-7 years. People also dont realize his impact on the way the game is played and how it will undoubtedly inspire a new generation of players with his playstyle.
He's overrated when you talk about his all-time placement. No way he's a top 15 player, but he could be a top 30 player
He’s definitely top 20 already
Curry is one of the best shooters not just that hes also a good playmaker who can move the defense also a okay defender he even had the most efficient 50/40/90 seasons while shooting around 60 percent so hes underrated
Look at curry man, so inspirational
He is elite off ball he is the greatest shooter of all time he changed the game of basketball he is an all time great ball handler he is a great passer and makes a huge impact for his team and lead his team to 3 titles
Steph is underrated. Dude is honestly arguably one of the best players of all time. His influence shows it. Do kyle lowry, jokic and kyrie irving
Definitely underrated, best pg in the league, but he didn’t play much this year. The only reason is people just focus on what’s going on rn.
Flightreact entered the chat.
He’s perfectly rated imo. Kinda like Damian Lillard. Sometimes underestimated but everyone knows his how good he is
Ikr, teams would literally give Durant the open shot rather than have Steph be open.
lillard is curry without the playoff or regular season success...thats what separates true goats ..wins and losses....curry has won 67 and 73 games and a title without kd...he beat dame without kd two series and swpet him with kd once...curry lost 1 total game to him in 11 tries in 3 series.....thats why damian is not up there
Green got suspended for one game in the finals and I absolutely hate the narrative that is pushed because of that. The Cavs won that series fair and square and there’s literally zero asterisks that can be placed on that title.
3:58 made me like the video🤣
Imo George Mikan had the biggest impact in NBA history on how the game was played. They added the goaltending rule due to him, and widened the paint area because of him. He was the reason the adage "you need a star big man to win a championship" was held until the Micheal Jordan Bull's teams
Steph isn't just a shooter. He's even admitted that Seth is a better shooter than him. His other skills just push him to another level.
It depends on if u are talking to a educated fan or a normal fan or a bandwagon
Aka Flight
the opinions of bandwagons don't really matter in this case.
@3:20 you get a like from me just from this little clip. Thanks for the laugh.
