    very helpful.....my goal is to have one of these within a few months. Unfortunately, when I called the company they were somewhat abrupt - just gave me the price - $15,000 (!) more than I paid for a BIG used Juiced Rite juicer, and seemed like they wanted to get us off the phone. You are 100% correct about sometimes getting more than you need. My juice bar has been open 5 months, and we rarely sell over 15 bottles of juice per day. The great big 600 pound juicer is just too big and a pain to clean! Thank you so much for the into.

      Nola Jazz hi there! The big pot is the Sammic CKE 8 Food processor. Cold pressed juicing is a two step process which includes grinding the produce, then pressing it. The Sammic is the grinding step :)

    Hello! Thank you so much for these CT7 videos, full of essential, practical information. I have been waiting for a few months to make the big purchase ( I have been using a Norwalk) and now Goodnature has come out with the X-1 mini! So, I may be further contemplating, although I need the juicer now and I don't believe the x-1 mini is available at this point until mid 2018. For your business model, having used the CT7 and I'm assuming you've been introduced to the X-1 mini, do you think you'd prefer the X-1 mini? Seems nice to skip the separate food processing step required with the CT7... Thank you, I'd really value and appreciate your input.

    • @JordanRosendalee
      @JordanRosendalee  6 років тому

      Hi! This is such a great question. If I were in your position, I’d probably buy the x1 mini.
      Yield: It appears to do around the same output as the Ct7.
      Functional: 1 step process compared to the 2 with the ct7.
      Design: I personally like the design of the x1 mini more.
      Concerns: to my knowledge the mini is fully automatic. It doesn’t have the varying speeds/hardness of the ct7. I enjoy being able to choose how fast and hard to press. With that said - I haven’t used the x1 mini so the fully automatic feature(1 button operation) might be perfectly designed. It might be most user friendly cold pressed juicer ever made. I just don’t know till I use it - ya know?
      All in all, I’d wait for the X1 mini. It’s their latest juicer so you know it has the most recent technology and research behind it. 👌🏻👊🏼👍🏻

    • @jenifersutherland7614
      @jenifersutherland7614 6 років тому

      Thank you very much for your quick reply!!!! I think I'll like the CT7. If you're ever in Park City, Utah.......lmk! I know you were using a centrifugal before the CT7, would you say your labor is less using the CT7?

    • @JordanRosendalee
      @JordanRosendalee  6 років тому

      Anytime! I sure will!
      Overall I’d say yes. I’m able to
      produce much more juice per hour with the CT7! It’s about the same labor work, however the CT7 is more efficient.

    • @jenifersutherland7614
      @jenifersutherland7614 6 років тому

      now i'm being rude, pushing my luck asking so many questions. happy to compensate for your time, lmk.(seriously) ...,
      just found out CT7 is 4 weeks out and I need something more efficient for orders by next week......any way you'll give me insight on the centrifugal juicer you used? or know of one you'd recommend? Thank you

    • @JordanRosendalee
      @JordanRosendalee  6 років тому

      Jenifer Sutherland Jenifer Sutherland no worries! Give me a little more backstory. Do you still have your Norwalk? Is it not efficient enough? How many 16oz(?) juices are you needing to produce a day? Or what is your juice schedule/demand right now? What’s your biggest battle right now?
      I used the Zumex Multifruit. It’s a nice big commercial centrifugal juicer. You can buy them used on eBay for $700-$1,000. However depending on the seller it could take 4 weeks for them
      to get it to you. Keep that in mind!

  • @luvs2spooge00
    @luvs2spooge00 7 років тому

    ok so my thing is that if you have to put the produce into a food processor doesn't that defeat the purpose of it being cold pressed? just get a cheaper centrifugal juicer.

  • @swordfish00007
    @swordfish00007 5 років тому

    I've seen this juicer before and congrats on finding it and putting it in your truck. Sweet choice. I wasn't too excited about the zumex juicer due to the centrifugal side an how you lose so many nutrients etc. Also are your produce organic?

    • @JordanRosendalee
      @JordanRosendalee  5 років тому

      Yes cold pressed it best. But zumex was good as a more affordable option that produce a lot of juice.
      Yes we use 100% organic produce in our juices.

  • @JPurontong
    @JPurontong 6 років тому

    chopping and grinding fruits and veggies before juicing is a lot of exposure to oxidation before you get the real meat or nutrients and enzymes with this machine that cost 10k USD while you could buy a slow juicer that cost $200-$600 with 3-3.5 inch mouth where you could throw in a whole apple, cucumber, carrot without sacrificing nutrients and enzymes.

    Great review Jordan! Did you thought on the Norwalk before going for the CT7?

    • @JordanRosendalee
      @JordanRosendalee  7 років тому +1

      Federico Olmedo thanks Federico! Yes I looked into it. Our health department wouldn't approve the Norwalk because it's not NSF approved. The CT7 is bigger and has a higher output than the Norwalk....so I'm glad we were forced to get it haha

    • @JordanRosendalee
      @JordanRosendalee  7 років тому +2

      Another comment: the CT7 is made for commercial use. It can be run 24/7. Norwalks are made for at home use, to make a few juices a day. I have heard of Norwalk's being over worked and breaking because they aren't made for heavy commercial juicing. We have run our CT7 for an entire day and it doesn't over heat or show any signs of wear. Just keep that in mind when making your decision!
