An FPS traditionally uses a camera perspective that simulates the player's viewpoint, looking out from their character's eyes. A second-person shooter perspective, theoretically, would involve playing from the viewpoint of another character observing the main player, which isn't common or clearly defined in gaming terminology.
Using a body cam perspective, where the camera might be positioned on the chest or shoulder of the character, would still generally be considered a first-person shooter. This perspective still aligns with the player seeing the game world from the perspective of the character they control, even though it's slightly shifted from the traditional "eyes" viewpoint.

Putting this in VR would make 90% of the features and mechanics in the game pointless and most likely disabled. All of those effects you see that highly added to the realism are coded and animated, the only thing that’s going to stay in VR would probably be just the VFX, even the gun placements and everything wouldnt make it into VR since they’ll be disabled to suit the user’s movement instead, you know like how VR is. Also, not everything has to be in VR, it’s overrated af and the thing isn’t even good yet to be it’s own platform.
@@SordidusFellatiobro spitting facts. But I really think that these great environments and effects would make a huge impact in the horror games industry. The reason why csgo is a competitive game is its precision. This game seems too disorienting for a serious multiplayer.

@@SordidusFellatio For me this game only make sense as VR otherwise it just looks odd despite the insane texture and shadows, I was suprised their recommended spec wasnt 3080. Also the the gun placement/mechanic looks just perfect for a vr game cause thats just not how you naturally move around except if you want to control your movement with your hands like the charachter literally looked like its been dragged around by his hands the axis of the player is based on his arm not his lags

Lol, minimum requirement is only a 2070.... That's not bad at all. Recommended is a 3060. Still,not too bad. Will probably look great in native 4k on my 4080. Then again, everything does....I stream to my Lenovo legion go and take 4k 144 frames gaming on the go. Great time for technology....

It won't work, everyone will want to disable all the game's effects to gain some kind of advantage or simply because they don't like it, plus it will be shotgun vs shotgun
unless they decide not to appeal to that audience and they don’t have settings options that ruin their hard work and they could give people body armor to make shotguns do less damage or sum

@PSNLike100ninjas multiplayer is a different game mode wich requires devs to take into account possible ways to abuse the system unless it's co-op, otherwise it's not fair. Games that focus on special effects are usually not the most competitive, if you want a competitive multiplayer shooter, play a different game.
For start you can check how squad community reacts to different changes in the game and not all of these changes makes the game more realistic. Since Bodycam seems to focus on realism, it would be sad if they compromised because of multiplayer experience.

Wait a sec.. I thought it's Unrecord, I was like "it looked way better back then". Don't mean to depreciate it, the environments look fine but the gun models or their shading seem really out ot place, at least for me.
