did this game really come out in 2005? it looks fantastic! i love how the attacks look and sound like they hit like a truck. i'm not a fighting game aficionado, but the movement in this one looks unique. cool game.

I think the Japan-only Punch Mania you're talking about is the second chapter which features HnK2's characters + 2 player modes. The first Punch Mania has it's European/Asian/American/Korean releases. Just to inform

This game, from the presentation to the sprites, is so incredibly well-polished! The artwork alone is worthy of its own publication! Bravo!! 👏
and yet it is so broken and u can feel they kinda rushed (or ran out of time)!!! I still love it though despite its flaws!!!

In fact, Hokuto no Ken actually has an English version, if you change the region from Japan to North America via test mode.
