There's no big reason to touch this game again. Arc Systems only cares about their own brands or worthy licenses for rereleases. Like 2d Guilty Gear returned with rollback because it's their main brand.
But with more characters added into it. Like Ryuga, Falco, Fudoh, Shu, Juza, Han, Shachi and Hyoh. With Kaioh as the true final boss of the remake/remastered game. And as a treat for long time fans of the franchise, they should put two hidden characters from Souten No Ken , Kenshiro Kasumi and Liu Zongwu.
Mr. Heart was just an elite mook who got defeated quite fast by Kenshiro but somehow he became very popular and got included in most of the Fist of the North Star games.
He was/is probably the most recognizable HnK character in Japan (after to the actual main characters, of course), largely thanks to the HIDEBU memes that were super popular on the Japanese Internet back in the day. Fudo the Mountain arguably would have made for a better big body grappler pick (and he could have had a unique FKO vs. Raoh!). But in terms of meme notoriety, Heart was a pretty clear choice.
I'd kill for this game to come to modern consoles. And with some balance changes would be nice. "But that would ruin the game!!" Wait, hear me out! It comes remastered to modern consoles with proper balance changes, but it also comes with a Kusoge mode that turns off the patches for those that want the good ol' jank back. I wanna see a fight between Mr. Heart & Jumbo Flapjack (Kimala the Bouncer).
HNK has such a massive fan base, making new games and reuse old ones is always on the table. Its only a matter of time before even the original tv show gets a sequel/remake.
Heart gets a lot of attention from someone who was meant to be little more than a somewhat more challenging opponent for Kenshiro to fight before facing Shin. It's possible that Heart's unique appearance and traits have made him stand out.
This game is meant to cover the story up to Raoh arc, and Heart was one of the main grunts in the Shin arc. So that wasnt a very surprising pick. Now if the game covered the whole HNK story and with only a little bigger roster, probably Heart would be left aside for an important character of the Kaioh arc.

ArkSys made this + it only came out for PlayStation 2 in Japan. The arcade version did leave Japan tho. There's an Atomiswave arcade to Dreamcast conversion available, too. Have fun 👍

Like above me said, Jojo Bizzare Adventure and a lot of others Manga around that time, been influenced a lot by Fist of the North Star. I will add, that Jojo came out at 1987, while Fist of the North Star came out at 1983.

If there were no infinite loops, Heart would be top tier.
Heart also has an infinite loop. The only char who doesn't have one is Shin.
