'Why' is an incredible album. While certainly there are many 60's and 70's influences this is not a copy album. It is original, thought provoking and simultaneously both musically soothing and challenging. Brilliant themes and ideas constantly jump out at you. Superb harmonies and musicianship top off an album that the Beatles themselves would have been proud of. 7 stars out of 5.

You have the heart and soul of the genre that you love so much. The early rock years were full of social protest, it's what made it so meaningful and popular. Granted, back them people were generally protesting for good, not like today when they protest against saving lives by getting a free shot. Love your music, keep it up.

Hi Mona and Lisa. Good Q and A. WHY is really a milestone in your musical jouney. It is more socal commentary than your previous albums, but it still great musically. I can't recommend it enough.
I agree with Lisa: I like 'Any other day' most. Or do I just like it, because I like the video so much? Probably both! But all the other songs are excellent as well. I heard the album more than a hundred times and still didn't get tired of it!
"Janitor Joe" is one of those songs that sounds like it's just a fun story, but it really is emblematic of our times. So many have been affected by the pandemic to reflect on mortality and how we really want to spend our time. Janitor Joe is "quiet quitting" in the extreme.
The song 'Why?' feels like an answer to "Because' by The Beatles. Even moments musically sound familiar. Then the ending turns into Pink Floyd. I wish I could here it for the first time again..over and over.

It jumped out at me when Lisa commented that with WHY they dont have the answers (17:03). Reminded me of the Moddy Blues song "Question". which the Moody's said people asked them what the answer was and they relied they didnt know either they just had the Question like everyone else

I try to do that, habitually, but in today's complicated and over-communicated world, it's a challenge. Alas, we still must ask the question, or simply accept all things as beyond our control.

Qustionable is not just a poppy, catchy song, it really is good. The lyrics are just sarcastic enough and, well...spot on.
The lyrics are very clever. I like how they catch the guys off guard in the video, like the one about "the roundabout they're building over there."
