What other underappreciated gems on Netflix do you think should've made this list? Please Note: Movie availability on Netflix is subject to change and differs from country to country. We apologize if the movies from this list do not appear in your version of Netflix.
Almost none of these are on Netflix in my country. This is why people pirate movies! Not because they don't want to pay for them, but because they can't
Oldboy was very and I mean VERY good. At first I was like "what the fuck is this shit", but as it went further and further I became more and more enthralled. What an interesting movie to watch.
I own every movie by that director. He's phenomenal. I saw the devil isn't bad but it lacks the camera work and overall tone that Chan-Wook brings with his films. I recommend the handmaiden.
_This._ Even though it feels more like a natural disaster drama with the zombies being the natural disaster, it's still my favorite zombie movie ever. It also has my favorite type of zombie-fast with exploitable weaknesses-and my favorite type of zombie virus: fast acting.
I completely agree with what you wrote about why you liked the film. I would only add that like most great films, the genre doesn't really matter so long as there is a well written screenplay, a terrific director, editor, cinematographer & actors - and they are all spectacular here. I really cared about what happened to the characters in this film and was riveted by every single moment in this movie. They knocked it out of the park.
Yeah, this is what sets this one apart from most zombie movies, I feel: the central theme is altruism versus self-interest during a crisis where survival is always on the line. The movie puts its characters in dire situations and forces them to make tough ethical decisions which always have consequences. And this isn't a Disney world where there's good altruists who always do "the right thing" and evil egotists. No, this movie will have you constantly asking, "what would I do?" And not only do altruists often die, but people generally die because it's a high stakes, end of the world kind of disaster. And still most deaths feel meaningful and are impactful. It's a bittersweet tale I'd recommend even to people who are not into zombies. In fact, it's a great film to get one _into_ zombies _and_ Korean cinema :)
attention directors of movies: stop inserting 800000 cuts into every fight scene. nobody can follow what's happening. it's the equivalent of two kids slapping their arms together with their eyes closed.
John Fakename they do that specifically so that viewers can't tell too much about what's going on, especially in movies with lots of effects, such as Transformers, for example. It saves them money because they can cover up mistakes or get by without adding too much detail in CG fight scenes.
as a director I have to say that, if handled right and done for the right reasons, fast cuts can be really effective! For example, Mad Max:fury road has loads of cuts but all actions play out in one relatively small area of the screen, so the viewer doesnt have to look from one side to the other and back... Sadly that is only sometimes the case. The decision should be made to enhance the story not for budget reason
Just put a cover on the screen, pretend it's a radio drama and you'll stop distracting yourself ogling the nudity long enough to notice that there is a LOT more to the very intricate plot involved in the multiple storylines.
I do like films, but often I want to watch something old, something that isn't currently out, and I have no luck on Netflix. I think Amazon has a better selection of movies to watch online.
DA DDA I only searched a few movies on the list and none came up for me. Also I heard that American Netflix has shows like the walking dead (which Aus Netflix does not)
Australia? you should thank your deity of choice that you're not in the UK we have between half and a third of what you get. and the same goes for crunchyroll with the disgusting difference in catalogue size compared to the US.
It's not any kind of masterpiece, but it's pretty good. At the very least it makes you ask yourself important questions while not disturbing you with anything poorly executed or anything. Kind of like The Road.
yea was scared by the rating but its really good, and a very depressing / disturbing movie sometimes, probz why it has that rating, go for it though ;)
I do love netflix for me it's the perfect platform to watch TV.. Continuum Travelers The Expanse Sense8 Peaky Blinders Bloodline The Big Short all these are 5 star veiwing that I've watched in the last 6 months.
King Fury is a modern masterpiece. I don't think I've seen such an absurd and hilarious movie in a very long time. Check it out, people. Seriously, you won't regret it.
Andy Quin I didn't liked it at all it was rushed story was not very clear and was solely focused on the battle alone not much about the story behind it al just a few cuts and lines on the screen
It's an alright movie, not anything special though. If you want to see a war movie that's totally unlike any war movie you've seen before, get your hands on a copy of Come and See. Even the title is saying, "oh you think you like war movies? Come and see what war really is."
its increadible one of the best war movies of the decade everything's navy seals or some kind of special forces unit and all American rather than a normal unit going to the brink
Top ten unique underrated movies; 1. Bangkok dangerous (old one) 2.The big hit. 3.Pest 4.kiss kiss bang bang 5.The long kiss goodnight 6.Ferngully 7. Animatrix 8.Pie 9. Jesus son 10. Apocalypse now
I'm talking about my personal experience, I never heard anyone talking about this movie growing.up, It's cultural impact is different for everyone, The only movies from the 70's people talk about AROUND HERE is the godfather. Hence me saying It's under appreciated to me.
also while on the topic of woefully underrated films, Universal Soldier: Regeneration deserves mention, despite not being on Netflix to my knowledge. It's a low budget Russian production, completely different from the previous Universal Soldier films, and it is freaking BRUTAL. Give it a chance.
You are absolutely correct about Centurion! I had forgotten about the movie Arn: The Knight Templar. Excellent movie! I loved it so much that I bought the multiple DVD full version.of it. It is basically a very powerful love story but with great dialogue and plenty of action. I especially liked the scene between Arn and Saladin at the camp after they had first met. There are so many great scenes in this flick that it is hard to pick only one.
It was just mean-spirited, with no sense of the time and place, very darkly shot most of the time, and also not an interesting or believable story. I'll just say two words: Black legionnaire. And no, I'm not even kidding.
Matt Wretched Good VPN's cost money, I also wouldn't run into potentially voiding my account with Netflix. My point was that this isn't a video about movies that all people can find on Netflix but rather a video about what Americans can find on Netflix. The title is a little click-baity. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Sense 8 is another underappreciated gem on Netflix, it's such a fantastic and impressively written tv show with an awesome premise. Of all these shows/movies, I have only ever seen Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. I must watch these other ones!!
I was only half paying attention to the video so I didn't hear him say prisoner of war before "P.O.W's" so I misheard him say POWs as BMW's and pictured escaped cars being chased why is this not a TV show?
I think Netflix needs to do a better job of showing customers the best of what they have. Yea they have some type of ratings for it but its not accurate at all. You shouldn't have to go online to find out what to watch, Netflix should have better listing systems for the hidden gems, along with obvious great movies and shows.
If you like..Evil dead...these should be great:Braindead House 1,2,Re animator, evil fead 1,3.... Something like that. And categories sub genres...a lot of gems exist...Cemetary man,Baxter,Return of the living dead,Valerie a tyden divu,Bitten,Wag the dog,Black mirror, black books,l'enfer (old french movie),we are the night (german vampire movie)...
So glad I watched this. Wanted to give these final hours a watch, wasnt on netflix, took gamble and bought dvd instead and wow, what a film. Up there as one of the best apocalypse films I've seen
What??? No "Train to Busan"?!?!? Well.... Yea... it's a zombie flick. Yea... you will need to read subtitles. Yea... the acting is awesome. Yea.. the ending will make you cry. Yea... you wont regret it.
Just watched Inside Man this weekend for the first time . Had never heard of it . Denzel , Clive Owens , Jodie Foster .... Immediately one of my all time favorites , riveted , start to finish !!!
Thank You, Looper. I never would have seen Moonrise Kingdom had you not suggested it. What a great movie! The whole production is fantastic and it's a charming story. Kudos!!
Sense8 is the 3rd best TV show ever made. EVERYONE should watch it. Ignore the fact it's been cancelled. If it gets the attention it deserves it can be revived. It still said "new episodes" as late as last week. Also, sign petitions and suggest to NetFlix they keep it in their suggestions box & chat, etc. I cancelled my membership over it. I truly hope you all get to experience the amazing ride the keeps getting better and better with that show. #BringBackSense8
The sex scenes in sense8 made homosexuality/bisexuality/transgender sex mainstream - it's point was to get the world to be more accepting of marginalized groups
There are very few "gems", appreciated or otherwise, on Netflix. Virtually NO good films, very depressing documentaries, incredibly manipulative series that simply must be avoided in order not to waste your life. Terrible content all round. You can find much more just on youtube. Actually, most of my time on Netflix is spent flicking from one piece of nonsense to another in a vain effort to find just one thing I and my family want to watch.
Moonrise Kingdom is a masterpiece. Every should watch it. It starts slow and I almost took it off but I was on my phone so I left it on for a while and as I kept watching it in the background I realized it was great. Also watched Nightcrawler and it was very very good.
il be honest, who the fuck didnt watch centurion, i mean, if you even slightly like roman history movies like gladiator then you've probably at least heard of it
The Way Back...i gotta watch this, it's pretty much my great-grandfather's tale who escaped on foot from a POW camp near Irkutsk and made it all the way back.
wentworth is a good show... its Australia's version of orange is the new black..... and chewing gum is hilarious British show bout an ugly duckling wanting to get a man...
+OOooh ooOoh You're quite right. Prisoner Cell-block H was set in Wentworth prison. For the re-make, they wanted to shake off the image of wobbling sets and hammy acting, so they went with the prison's name instead.
Seth Perry it's not disturbing in a blood and guts gory kind of way just in a total cluster f**k of moments. a little boring bit at one point and then WHAT! and then HOLY SH*T!!
Totally agree. Really great movie and would like to watch it again, but that twist at the end makes me stay away from it. I recommend it to people but always tell them to be prepared to be fucked up.
I've seen Old Boy as well. Excellent movie, but like you, I won't be watching it again...lol. So far it's the only movie I've seen in my life that I will only watch the one time and never again even though it's so good. :/
Centurion is one of the best war films of the decade. But its not a commercial historic film. Its a true one like they used to be. Ive been showing that film to a lot of people since i watched it in 2011. If you are a guy fed up of how all the nowadays war films are getting ruined by propaganda and commercialism you will be surprised because you are searching for this. A true historic war film.
Excellent selection. About Old Boy being underrated?? It won the Grand Prix in Cannes Festival in 2004 and I can't name anyone who hasn't seen the movie.
What other underappreciated gems on Netflix do you think should've made this list? Please Note: Movie availability on Netflix is subject to change and differs from country to country. We apologize if the movies from this list do not appear in your version of Netflix.
Looper
Triangle
Synchronicity
st Vincent
Moon
adaptation
You forgot "John Dies In The End" other that that, great list!!
Looper Can you do Hulu next please
Do a UK Netflix one please :)
Looper : Greatest Netflix movie ever is " A Man from Nowhere " with English Subtitles
Netflix was better when they had ratings. too hard to separate movies now.
Feliciano Russell
It still has ratings. In the u.s. at least...
Mine in texas doesn't. I mean customers' ratings. Unless they brought it back.
Feliciano Russell
Yeah, i meant the star rating system. Doesn't show imdb or rotten tomatoes, unfortunately, though.
Political correctness is such a cancer.
Agree
Almost none of these are on Netflix in my country. This is why people pirate movies! Not because they don't want to pay for them, but because they can't
Oldboy was very and I mean VERY good. At first I was like "what the fuck is this shit", but as it went further and further I became more and more enthralled. What an interesting movie to watch.
you need to quit swearing and act your age !
Thank you for the SPOILER-FREE rec. You done good.
Wish every commenter had the same intelligence / courtesy / grace.
Cheers
I own every movie by that director. He's phenomenal. I saw the devil isn't bad but it lacks the camera work and overall tone that Chan-Wook brings with his films. I recommend the handmaiden.
"Train to Busan". The best "Zombie" movie I have ever seen.
_This._
Even though it feels more like a natural disaster drama with the zombies being the natural disaster, it's still my favorite zombie movie ever. It also has my favorite type of zombie-fast with exploitable weaknesses-and my favorite type of zombie virus: fast acting.

jack ryan hell yeah I watched it n loved it. sad at the end but very good zombie movie

Tucker and Dale is an amazing movie. I could watch it once a week
d0x360 we need a second one already
I agree, killer flick.
dale and tucker need to be in the comedy horror hall of fame, i still pmsl when that kid jumps in the chipper
d0x360 funniest movie I have seen
I know this is gonna sound hard to believe officer, but all these college kids just started killing themselves all over our property!
attention directors of movies: stop inserting 800000 cuts into every fight scene. nobody can follow what's happening. it's the equivalent of two kids slapping their arms together with their eyes closed.
Asian directors generally tend to do a much better job, most action movies from China or Japan have long uninterrupted sequences.
John Fakename they do that specifically so that viewers can't tell too much about what's going on, especially in movies with lots of effects, such as Transformers, for example. It saves them money because they can cover up mistakes or get by without adding too much detail in CG fight scenes.

Thank you!
They'll need advice from Paul Grenngrass (Director of The Bourne Franchise) he has a more artistic way of doing where you still know what's going on.
"This is the Viking age"
"Of course, that explains the laser raptors."
"You don't need that spine, It's holding your back"
Kate Fraser What movie is that??
Kung Fury
Check my pecs..
Horizon zero dawn
Sense 8 is a TV show that's so underappreciated, would highly recommend!
amazing show
Hmm...very true. Although all the sex was a bit of a turn off for me, personally. Still was a great show though
Best show ever!
Just put a cover on the screen, pretend it's a radio drama and you'll stop distracting yourself ogling the nudity long enough to notice that there is a LOT more to the very intricate plot involved in the multiple storylines.
did it make you feel uncomfortable baby? did you need your pacifier?
I have never thought that Netflix in was drowning in choices.
It's a sewer full of poop with the odd chocolate bar here and there.
Stephanie Manley - yeah, every time I find a good show I binge watch it in a day or two
Stephanie Manley wow! you must not like films
I do the same thing.
I do like films, but often I want to watch something old, something that isn't currently out, and I have no luck on Netflix. I think Amazon has a better selection of movies to watch online.
Underappreciated gems on AMERICAN Netflix you need to watch.
iBourne xx 1994
Yea, I was quite disappointed too, hardly any of these are watchable for me.
That's why I cancelled my netflix account. All the good shows on US netflix, the UK version is shit in comparison.
Helloooo....get a VPN.
I don't know what Netflix other Americans are watching but I didn't have any of these and I live in New Jersey
sense8 is super underrated
Travelers is the MOST UNDERRATED show on Netflix.
Quietly cries as I live with Australian Netflix
What does that make any difference?
DA DDA I only searched a few movies on the list and none came up for me. Also I heard that American Netflix has shows like the walking dead (which Aus Netflix does not)
Death Breath ASMR yeah we do have TWD
Death Breath ASMR use getflix to change the region
Australia? you should thank your deity of choice that you're not in the UK we have between half and a third of what you get.
and the same goes for crunchyroll with the disgusting difference in catalogue size compared to the US.
These Final Hours is absolutely MAGNIFICIENT.
after reading your comment i was gonna watch it till i saw the 2 stars rating
tootsie|troll® trust me, give it a chance.
I thought it was pretty good! Thought-provoking and daring in its execution.
Centurion was great movie. The battle scenes are amazing.
I do love netflix for me it's the perfect platform to watch TV..
Continuum
Travelers
The Expanse
Sense8
Peaky Blinders
Bloodline
The Big Short
all these are 5 star veiwing that I've watched in the last 6 months.
King Fury is a modern masterpiece. I don't think I've seen such an absurd and hilarious movie in a very long time. Check it out, people. Seriously, you won't regret it.
wishbone346
I'm taking your advice because your profile pic has future Bruce Wayne on it and I do not wish for an interrogation XD
They had me with triceracop
you can actually find it here on UA-cam with good quality
If you liked Kung Fury, i definately recommend Danger 5 (also on netflix)
You ought to see Kung Fu Hustle and Shaolin Soccer.
The Siege at Jadotville was a GREAT film I would like to recommend.
Andy Quin I didn't liked it at all it was rushed story was not very clear and was solely focused on the battle alone not much about the story behind it al just a few cuts and lines on the screen
Andy Quin I would recommend we where soldiers as a, good war movie
it was not "GREAT" as you say but it's not bad either, it's just an ok movie
It's an alright movie, not anything special though. If you want to see a war movie that's totally unlike any war movie you've seen before, get your hands on a copy of Come and See. Even the title is saying, "oh you think you like war movies? Come and see what war really is."
its increadible one of the best war movies of the decade everything's navy seals or some kind of special forces unit and all American rather than a normal unit going to the brink
Your channel is not cheesy and this is why you're my primary source for content on movies. Love it.
Centurion is an excellent movie. Maybe not always 100% historically accurate, it really gives a good feel for Roman era Britain.
I'm so happy that Tucker and Dale vs. Evil was mentioned! Though I'm very sad that many of these titles aren't on Netflix in Denmark :/
same :/
Heidi Petersen You should watch "Frailty" its a great movie.
Sadly that's not available in Denmark, but If I find it elsewhere I'll have a look :)
Heidi Petersen I watched "these final hours" last night. it was good also, but "Frailty" is 1 of my favorite 😀
heidi try getting usa version instead of european one.
I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore is one of the best movies I've ever seen!
WHAT this is Lowko's VOICE??????????? MIND BLOWN.
"What year is this?"
"Its the Viking Age"
"That explains the Laser Raptors"
Tucker and Dale vs Evil Is funny as hell:")
Centurion is bloody brilliant, that was a Roman era movie done really well
Please tell me Im not the only one who hears Dex and get incredibly excited. I miss the old creatures but am loving cow chop!!
The Last Kingdom is near perfect in both of it's seasons
Top ten unique underrated movies; 1. Bangkok dangerous (old one) 2.The big hit. 3.Pest 4.kiss kiss bang bang 5.The long kiss goodnight 6.Ferngully 7. Animatrix 8.Pie 9. Jesus son 10. Apocalypse now
Well technically I meant underappreciated, which is almost the same thing. I never see it in top ten movie lists or anything.
Apocalypse Now??? That is soooo not underrated or under appreciated. Are you kidding? It's regarded as a masterpiece of film like everywhere.
I'm talking about my personal experience, I never heard anyone talking about this movie growing.up, It's cultural impact is different for everyone, The only movies from the 70's people talk about AROUND HERE is the godfather. Hence me saying It's under appreciated to me.
In my opinion Apocalypse Now is way overrated. Platoon and the Deer Hunter are way better vietnam-war movies
Or Full Metal Jacket
Into Science Fiction like "Aliens"? Seriously watch "Spectral" on Netflix right now.
aliens ? was it not something else ? ( cant give spoilers)
yes it is something else (not giving spoilers)
spectral keeps coming up on my recommended list, and I thought the trailer looked halfway decent. is it that good?
Absolutely! I've watched it 3 times and introduced it to my father in law.
Didn't like spectral at all. Found it really boring
''I don't feel at home in this world anymore'' definitely deserves a mention.
The Last Kingdom is awesome!
Best show on there! My wife and I love it
Good one but definitely not top tier.
A Handmaid's tale of course! I know it's not for everyone but I think it's right up there with the really good ones
Show being cancelled let me down. It had potential
West Yorkshire the last kingdom is produced by BBC it's only in association with BBC America which in turn is still British
The way back is FANTASTIC. 10/10 would recommend
Hey looper find new fucking music to use in the background please
Mambo Sauce
That's why they will never surpass Watchmojo.
Thank you for being the FIRST one I came across that loves my favorite movie, "In Your Eyes". Ive watched it at lest a dozen times!!
tucker & dale is 1 of my fav comedies of all time lol
This is actually a great list, well done. I would just add a couple more movies like Troy and Good Will Hunting.
not really hidden gems, most people have heard of those movies.
brad pitt in the story of the fall of Troy. (Trojan horse). pretty good movie
just watched " these final hours " ! loved it!
tnx
Andreea Rob me too and now I'm depressed
The strength of the young girl wanting to be with the body of her father in the end....was beautiful. Never had a father, wonder what it feels like.
also while on the topic of woefully underrated films, Universal Soldier: Regeneration deserves mention, despite not being on Netflix to my knowledge. It's a low budget Russian production, completely different from the previous Universal Soldier films, and it is freaking BRUTAL. Give it a chance.
Great list. Started with centurion last night and LOVED IT! I'm gonna go back over this list, thanks loopsky!
Centurion is phenomenal. Also, Arn is another amazing epic war film!
Daniel centurion was great.
Shame centurion is not in latinamerican netflix
DEUS VULT
Of course only two of these movies are actually on Netflix Canada. Just great. :/
Torrent lol. BTW vpn would be cheaper than your netflix subscribction
To West: Hopefully conservative will be back and crap will stop before that I just can't believe Canadians will re elect another turd'O
"12 year promise" is a hidden gem. It's a korean drama and I don't like korean drama, yet this one was amazing!!!
Beast of no Nation is another gem I'd recommend to anyone. It seemed to me like it really didn't get anywhere close to the attention it deserved
What about The Last Kingdom?
Wasn't really that great. It's okay, but not great.
Jordan Machuca It was good. finished it
the books are amazing. Utred gets more badass the older he gets
Jordan Machuca great show hopefully new season
Jordan Machuca Ive contemplated this show multiple times but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
the last kingdom is the best on netflix
I totally agree, they hit pay dirt on this one
I thought Altered Carbon was Awesome too.
Best part? They don't even have to write anything for the TV Show. Bernard Cornwell has already done it.
Sense 8 is another underappreciated gem on Netflix, it's such a fantastic and impressively written tv show with an awesome premise. Of all these shows/movies, I have only ever seen Tucker and Dale vs. Evil. I must watch these other ones!!
Tucker and dale is soooo good, when someone asks for a movie i always tell them about it!
What about the 100?
Centurion is a Awesome Movie!
The way back is one of the best movies i have ever seen!! totally recommend it
I like how they referred to 'Centurion' as not being like a generic sword and sandals tale and yet literally painted it as such.
Connor Phebus absolutely agree! My suggestion lists are ridiculous! It would also be convenient if they could add a trailer option!
If you like..Evil dead...these should be great:Braindead House 1,2,Re animator,evil fead 1,3....
Something like that.
And categories sub genres...a lot of gems exist...Cemetary man,Baxter,Return of the living dead,Valerie a tyden divu,Bitten,Wag the dog,Black mirror, black books,l'enfer (old french movie),we are the night (german vampire movie)...
These final hours had me on the edge. For sure feeling thankful to be alive after that one
Dave Sunhammer I AGREE
Overrated K Drama
moonrise kingdom sweet to watch anyday
Just watched Inside Man this weekend for the first time . Had never heard of it . Denzel , Clive Owens , Jodie Foster .... Immediately one of my all time favorites , riveted , start to finish !!!
Thank You, Looper. I never would have seen Moonrise Kingdom had you not suggested it. What a great movie! The whole production is fantastic and it's a charming story. Kudos!!
Sing street anyone?
Well, I'm off to watch centurion while I wait for GOT season 7
Old Boy was a terribly awesome movie that no one I know has seen and should have by now.
Thanks for queuing up my Netflix ideas tonight.
Nightcrawler was my favorite movie of 2014 and blew my mind when I saw it in theaters
Chris Heckert is it really canceled? Such a cliffhanger at end of season 2 I can't believe it, that SUCKS!!!!!!!!!
unbelievably the campaign by the fans worked!! they are bringing it back for one final time to end it with a 2hr finale episode
waaay to many weird pointless sex scenes
The sex scenes in sense8 made homosexuality/bisexuality/transgender sex mainstream - it's point was to get the world to be more accepting of marginalized groups
Chris Heckert I agree with you. I absolutely love Sense8. It’s one of the best shows currently out.
I didn't expect, when clicking on this video, that I already knew most of these films... They are indeed very good!
OYG! Tucker and Dale vs Evil and Nightcrawler were great! Thank you!
oh it's dex again!
forgot John dies at the end
Kenny Kwong foresight
Rest Oma
Moonrise Kingdom is a masterpiece. Every should watch it. It starts slow and I almost took it off but I was on my phone so I left it on for a while and as I kept watching it in the background I realized it was great.
Also watched Nightcrawler and it was very very good.
I definitely recommend The Way Back. It's one of those movies I watched on a plane because there just wasn't anything else and I'm glad I did.
il be honest, who the fuck didnt watch centurion, i mean, if you even slightly like roman history movies like gladiator then you've probably at least heard of it
Netflix Canada has 4 of these. :(
The Way Back...i gotta watch this, it's pretty much my great-grandfather's tale who escaped on foot from a POW camp near Irkutsk and made it all the way back.
"LOOK WHO'S BACK" was absolutely amazing
Centurion is an amazing movie.
It is god awful and you should be ashamed of yourself for liking it
Ah was trying to remember what movie that chick was from. Ty!
It's spring! Get out in the garden! Go for a walk! Plant your pumpkins, tomatoes and peppers!
Mick G. doing a herb garden expansion this year. winter is coming
Stfu
as soon as they make a Netflix original series about doing that, I'll binge it...how's that?
Lady pilliwick Oooh! Which herbs?
It's still snowing here. So I don't think that'd go to well, lol.
I can vouch for Kung Fury. Accidentally ran into it on Netflix. What a gem.
Great list! I see a lot of movies. And here, with the exception of Moonrise Kingdom, I hadn't seen one.
wentworth is a good show... its Australia's version of orange is the new black..... and chewing gum is hilarious British show bout an ugly duckling wanting to get a man...
Patricia Hynes I thought Wentworth was a remake of prisoner cell block H? It's an awesome show either way :)
Patricia Hynes I stay away from British shows. they bore me
+OOooh ooOoh
You're quite right.
Prisoner Cell-block H was set in Wentworth prison.
For the re-make, they wanted to shake off the image of wobbling sets and hammy acting, so they went with the prison's name instead.
Chewing Gum is awesome...I like that chick
Patricia Hynes Wentworth is fucking awesome with the exception of the season 4 finale. They pretty much ruined the show for shock value
I saw that Asian movie. GREAT MOVIE!! disturbing ending, will never watch it again, but great movie!
Jackson jackson
Lol, now I'm intrigued.
Me too,going to watch now.
Great call with Centurion. I always thought that move should have been more popular.
Good list! I had already seen about half of these listed, and look forward to the rest.
pretty sure that's not how you say "centurion". there's an U in the middle not an O.
Hannibal....Amazing
MrMellek Season 3 is boring so I'm disappointed
bobby E Didn't ask
agreed The Way Back is a classic movie. Great cast, cinematography and story. Definitely will watch again
Centurion is one of my favorite films.
Because it shows how bloody survival is, when you are hunted by far more well equiped Scouts.
Loved " Centurion "
Sing street thank me later .
Sing Street is in another top ten Netflix gems list.
D3V0N0711 I found it good, not great tho.
D3V0N0711 saw it in theaters. it was okay.
Old Boy is a masterpiece.
Really amazing film, Kung Fury is funny in a way but no where near the brilliance of Old Boy.
Valhalla Rising my children. Go now
good flick
it was good. for the first ten minutes. than they ride around on a boat for four hours. 1 star.
Oh yeah I guess I forgot about that one but good call on you!
Whoops sorry LMFAO! Valhalla rising is a great movie
mystro810 I loved the end!
Centurion was great.
I was extremely surprised how good centurian is
Excellent selection.
About Old Boy being underrated?? It won the Grand Prix in Cannes Festival in 2004 and I can't name anyone who hasn't seen the movie.
Troll Hunters
Jericho
Night crawler! OMG! This dude that I used to hang out with was just like that character..
