- In this recipe video I have shown process of how to make Green Moong ki Dal, it is also known as Green Moong ki sabzi. मुंग की दाल is very healthy option (Healthy Recipe), I have made it in pressure cooker which makes it easy and quick to make. Serving: 4-5
Ingredients:
Moong beans/ Whole green gram -150 gm(soaked and sprouted)
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Bay leaves-2
Dry red chilli-2
Onion(chopped)-2(medium)
Tomato(chopped)-1(large)
Asafoetida(hing)-1/4 tsp(optional)
Dry fenugreek leaves(kasuri methi)-1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp
Cooking oil-3 tbsp
Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder-3/4 tsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder-1/4 tsp
Ghee-1 tsp (optional)

Tried this with ready sprouts. Tastes amazing. People out there can also try using whole garlic cloves and thinly sliced ginger instead of the paste..that's how my mom makes it. But this is a perfect recipe for bachelors. Thanks Kabitaji, you are the best!
