We always look forward to your videos. We weren't bothered about the video or sound quality previously. We were pleasantly surprised by the section on the guitar making. (After watching you stumbling around with not being able to design a chair over the last few weeks). Dylan my life and business partner has also left a comment. She thinks all you young men are doing a great job.

Based on your positive comments and great relationship with GL I purchased a 4 x 8 sheet from them that was supposed to be quarter sawn red oak. What I received looked more like plain sawn and had no similarity to quarter sawn veneer on furniture I own. I attempted when ordering to communicate what I was hoping to receive with two people at GL who were demonstrably disinterested in my attempts to communicate. My failure was not insisting on a photo of the sheet beforehand and being an extremely small purchaser.

loving the guitar studio work - epic - i love music - would be rubbish at playing guitar (doesn't interest me - BUT i wonder if you might some day experiment to make a front panel (only) in the style of your tables, might be REAL interesting experiment, probably need to CNC it, might be fragile, but an epic test, have one backlit - sorry but love pushing the boundaries, my guess would be a soft wood to be able to soak up the resin, very interesting, might need to be vacuumed ie like when making carbon fibre, oooh oooh carbon fibre mixed into you tables, BAD ASS! - so many possibilities
PS camera n sound - epic

Hi great to see you are investing in some better gear to upgrade your production, may I also suggest looking at the Rode Wireless Go ( www.rode.com/wireless/wirelessgo ) because you can set up your camera with a wireless LAV and a shotgun mic so when you are not facing the camera you will have good sound through the LAV but when you are interviewing someone the shotgun on the camera will pic up the voice. You can also have 2 wireless LAV’s recording to your camera with the use of the twin hot shoe adapter which will be better in a noisy environment etc...
Remember the iPhone 12 has a fantastic video camera and combining it with a DJI gimbal and a rode video mic will help with some B role.
PS. On a different note your new shop looks great, I believe you are going to put up some new racking and you asked for some design suggestions? I would put some concealed multicoloured LED strip lighting under each shelf so if you turn down the rooms main lighting you will see a wall of highlighted timber plank edges and burl faces. I am not sure which will look best orange or a gunmetal grey racking system, the grey would fade into the background making the timber more prominent?
