    I think a feature length film is needed. Follow a team from build up all the way through a season.
    The ups are just as good as the downs on a dirt track. He summed it up nicely, love each other, hate each other. You can come to blows one week, and help the guy between heats the next.

      Dylan Peterson I was thinking about it the whole time I was working on Gossett Brothers.
      However, without generating some sponsorship the feature would be impossible to complete. Besides that it would be a thrill to work on a film like that.

      I understand. This one was solely your doing? video, sound, editing and all?

      Yep, it was one man band experience when it comes to filming, directing, sounds recording, color grading and editing:) But I had a very good help from the people I was working with.

    Just a great VIDEO 👌👍👍
    Everything about it reminds me of our home track way over here in the Mid-Atlantic area.
    THANKS for your time and effort. 👍🏁

    Great video, need to bump up the views. The guys are spot on about everything especially helping others. I have seen things over the years that makes you wonder what someone was thinking, especially when comes to safety.
    I witnessed a new driver one night and thought no he didn't do that! Gave him the benefit of the doubt but I saw it again and contacted the track owner. Hopefully I saved his life and he learned from the experience.
    I lost my best friend and driver to cancer this month, brings back a rush of memories.

    The funny thing is I know the everyone at this track. I actually race here and I’m just now seeing these for the first time! I can’t believe I haven’t seen this before!

      Jim lastname it’s in Albuquerque New Mexico. A track called Sandia Speedway. It’s not like the bigger name tracks. Out here it’s a bull pin. When you think of back woods dirt track racing it’s like this track. But It’s in the desert.

    • @brennen2253
      @brennen2253 5 років тому

      Jim lastname also there more local legends. The non winged sprints racing here race in what’s called the border tour. The go through New Mexico Texas and Arizona. The two Biggest names here are Charlie Fegan and Royale Johns. Charlie ran the drag boats and Royale owns a track down in los Crusas New Mexico. We do have some big names I guess you could call it from here. If want to talk let me know!

      Jim lastname sorry about the desert part! I travel a lot and you would be surprised on how many states don’t know about New Mexico. People dont even know it’s a state in place like the east coast! Where dirt track racing thrives is more on the south east part of the United States. But the difference between a Sprint car and a champ is champ cars are more of the older style of sprint cars. There bigger and a few other things are different. They where actually the cars Indy car drivers raced when they didn’t have a Indy race. But my preference on winged and non winged cars is I prefer non wing. People all over the U.S. Fight over winged and non winged. Some say winged are safer, some say non winged are safer. And same goes with handling and stuff. But there pretty much the same beside the wings. They do make a different chassis for the non winged which is really the same chassis with out the wing mounts but you will actually see some winged car drivers run there cars non winged here. The reason I choose non winged is that there somewhat uncommon here. They only race on my track about 2 or 3 times a season. Plus I have a lot of good buddies racing non winged that I help. I also have to admit I do like sprint cars but my favorite dirt track cars are late models. It’s my dream to race them some day.

      Not lucky. Racers bust their ass off to race. Can’t just sit back in life saying people are lucky. Get your ass off the couch and work hard

      Wil Hicks , starting from scratch $100,000.00 wont even get you out of your garage bud. Much less competitive. If you start a new competitive team with a hauler and spares you will need a MINIMUM of $900,000.00. We started out and spent well over a million and only had one back up car. And spend another million to run 1 full season. That’s including travel and all costs.

    • @videographiya
      @videographiya  6 років тому

      I used Panasonic GH4 for majority of the shots, Polaroid cube camera for actions shots. Edited in Premiere and color graded partially in Colorista and DaVinci Resolve.

    how much for roller >?

    • @chrisburnsed6349
      @chrisburnsed6349 5 років тому

      A new roller with good parts will run you $38,000.00 With no spares Then you’ll be spending another $45,000.00 for an engine that will need a $15,000.00 rebuild after 8 races or so if it lasts that long. We run an 80+ race schedule and spend shy of a million per season.

    The boys came home from the war chock full of PTSD and an addiction to adrenaline Surely by now we could provide them with a cockpit that won't kill them. An inch or two of foam might have saved so many from spinal injury. It's time for a ground up re-imagining of what motor sport should be. The piece meal reaction approach has wasted so much time. The cages should be capsules. Life ensuring capsules...
