Great vids. Good talking to you blokes at the 4WD show. I’ve got a solution for you needing a ladder to put your awning cover back on. Take a 6 foot 6 bloke like me and we don’t need ladders. 😂
Awesome video as always guys, and great showing our West Aussie playgrounds to the rest of the world 🙌 It's only raining down there at the moment because my Sister is currently at Peaceful Bay, and it ALWAYS rains whenever we go camping, even in the middle of Summer 😂 Gotta admit that WA definitely has the world's best beaches though!
Esperance is my hometown, best beaches in Australia. Have done so much 4wding and camping on the beaches around Esperance. I'm in Qld now and cannot wait to get back to Esperance beaches!
Love the content guys! That track through the sharp limestone in the dunes sucks to navigate but if you headed further south east of that exit. The track links up if you check it out on google maps. It’s pretty scratchy to start with but worth the trip. Stream beach amazing and has a really nice camp spot. Next time you’re down this way I’d be happy to give some pointers or show you around.
@@macpreston definitely 👍🏻 those costal tracks between Denmark - Esperance are great fun. Next time hit up the track between hammersly dunes in Hopetoun through to whale bone then quoin head awesome scenery and cool little camp site down at quoin head.
@@macpreston there is one that starts at the windfarm just out of Albany, pretty mild sand track really. Scenery is nice when you get close to the coast with the steep high cliffs that drop straight off into the ocean. But you can link up that track by following some back roads across to west cape Howe national park which is worth a run. That has some epic views, really nice beaches and a hidden camp spot which I don’t think is advertised online.
Check the windscreen wiper linkage, replaced the wiper motor, and the switches on mine, and it turned out that the linkage was galled up on the shafts. Cleaned it up and worked fine after...
Mine used to stop working and would restart if I gave it a tug.... I pulled the linkage apart and found that the wiper shafts were corroded and galled up. Gave them a clean and polished, all good now...
Google mostly but we have used neutracs before aswell the one pooly uses is good! Just need to remember to download maps before you lose reception. Not a huge issue these days with starlink!
Top tip my old Hilux lost wipers once but mommy and me tied two strings to them and did the wiping ourselves even past the cops who just stood there staring
