Anytime an older band like King Diamond sees a young person in the audience instead of old timers like me, it's refreshing. Young people/teenagers are the lifeblood of metal music, and gets depressing for a band from the 80s to see nothing but old people in the audience night after night. King Diamond probably appreciated seeing you there.

Mercyful Fate's first album was 1983, so King Diamond has been doing this for all that time. Melissa and Don't Break the Oath were masterpieces. I still listen to them.
This is a great track. I love the production of it. You can actually hear that it's all real instruments. The drum sound might be the best part as it just has such an organic sound.

I saw Mercyful Fate in 1984 on there very first American soil show in Portland Oregon, saw them three more times. Seen King Diamond three times and met him on the THEM tour and got my picture taken with him with no makeup. Saw him again in 2019. I'm 55 and now can die a happy man now
Yes, it´s a very good song, classic King Diamond. Like 1986 again. It took four years from the release to the video. If we assume, that new record has 10 songs, so it´s not gonna take 40 years to release the new album. I´m sure King lives forever, but I sure don´t have that much time left. Sooner the better.
