What is ASMR? For most, it is a sensation best described as "tingles", usually in the head, neck and shoulders. It is often a pleasant reaction to a stimulus that is triggered by the sensation of touch, sound or reaction to light. Possibly other senses as well, although these seem to be the most common.
My earliest memory of ASMR was in Elementary school when students would go in for a lice exam. A very gentle, soft spoken nurse would delicately run a comb through my hair and check my scalp and ears. I also have this reaction to nurses during other exams. Another common memory is hair-playing. Girls in grade school would sit in a row and you'd play with the girl's hair in front of you, and the one behind you would play with your hair. My experience with ASMR usually stems from an event of sensation that makes me feel safe and cared for, although there are a number of triggers.
Some very common triggers: Blinking or light triggers, tapping sounds, mouth sounds, close up whispering, soft speaking, accents, hand movement, tracing with fingers, personal attention, latex glove sounds, skin rubbing sounds, massage, the sound of rain and thunder, Some are unintentional triggers such as watching someone receive a massage, a doctor's exam, a calm, gentle nurse or as abstract as crinkling paper.
What are your triggers? I am always hopeful for feedback in the comments section. Although I may sometimes be slow to respond, I read every single comment and message. I'm always open to new ideas and want to provide the best ASMR I can to my lovelies, so please share if you're comfortable.

@@oo_atlas_oo I would guess that your battery is failing. Most lithium ion batteries degrade in time and with use, if it's dropping really quickly, it is likely a physical defect and would need replacing. There are other possibilities, like an app on the phone that's draining it excessively, but if it's 2-3 years old or older, it is very common to see that type of behavior.

There are two main kinds of asmr videos, whispered and soft spoken ones. If you put ‘soft spoken’ in your search you should get better video’s for your taste i think 😉 hope this helped you!

Oh gosh. Syncope (passing out) is the most common “dental emergency” it’s a vasovagal response. Usually has nothing to do with the procedure at all. I know your joking about the flossing obviously. In 10 years I have never had someone pass out. Very close to but never all the way. Pretty amazing. My best friend just bit the dust after an ear piercing day before yesterday though haha

Unlike many other medical roleplays this one is truly so realistic, it feels like there's no acting at all and you don't even acknowledge the camera in front of you, literally like real medical exam with my Dr., feels completely natural, relaxing and with zero fakeness. Great job, subscribed!

Glad to see your back to your original format. Not to say your last one was bad at all, but while I could watch a million ASMR videos in that style (for there are that many on YT) what really makes yours stand out is your voice. It is very soothing and helps me relax enough that it counters my chronic insomnia and depression to the point where I'm usually asleep at night WAY faster than when I watch other channels.

I am completely reliant on ASMR audio and video to fall asleep. I haven't been diagnosed with insomnia, but I know I simply can NOT fall asleep without something like ASMR or hypnosis. I can feel that struggle. So flattered I can be a healthy outlet for you ;)

I think I was tapping on the tripod that the camera sits on. It is just behind the mic. Probably the closest the sound can get without bonking the mic outright =)

I have to say that this is hands down one of the most realistic medically related ASMR videos out there today. The way she explains exactly what she's doing and how's she's doing it every step of the way is exactly what I would expect from this kind of video and it allows me to truly relax. This might be a little heavy as a comment, but I just really really appreciate you making these videos. I'm chronically ill, I spend a lot of time in medical distress and the vast majority of medical staff have always treated me like they'd rather I hurry up and die then take up any more of their time. I listen to your videos a lot when I'm having had times, just the idea that a nurse or someone would be so kind to me and help take care of me makes the episodes a little more bearable. Thank you.

My mom asked the lady there for something abt the blanket she wanted. This literally happened to me in the middle of a simple out patient procedure, and since then I've had multiple occasions of passing out and losing all control of my body for an hour afterwards. I wish I'd had a nurse like you some of the times!

I blacked out once at a band competition and it was the scariest experience of my life, but there was a band dad there who was an EMT, and he did almost exactly what she’s doing in the video, he was super calm and relaxed. He made it not as scary and I found out later that his name was Dean which I thought was funny considering I love Supernatural. I remember that I felt not dizzy or lightheaded but something of that nature. I was off for about 2 days after that and didn’t go to practice that Monday. We never really figured out what happened but we have our suspicions and I’ve been feeling like crap lately and today I almost passed out again because I had a headache that made me nauseous and dizzy. I really hope it doesn’t happen again but if it does I hope someone like Dean is around again; I really needed that calming presence.
