- Nearly 4 years ago I promised my subscribers I would make a traditional Cranial Nerve Exam ASMR video and ya boi is following through with that promise. Better late than never? I tried to follow the soft speaking roleplay style of cranial nerve examination videos I used to love years ago by ASMRtist such as Heather Feather, Gentle Whispering, MessageASMR... You know... The legends.

@@islandsunset yes 😂 lot of fruits and vegetables are high in vitamin c including peppers, spinach, some melons, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, potatoes, and tomatoes!
@@islandsunset You do bring up a good thought. For myself, I have systemic mastocytosis so anything that increases histamine can cause anything from anaphylactic shock to leukemia. I've had to use EpiPen for citrus, nuts, and alcohol before. And pickles, cinnamon, capsaicin (neurotoxin that makes peppers spicy) and ibuprofen have all put me in the ICU. Although I can have cucumbers, citric acid, naproxen and other substitutes and be fine. For lemons, I can have artificial lemon flavoring since it lacks the chemical that causes histamine to be created. But I do suffer from malnutrition because of this, and it is difficult to maintain a stable diet.

In some cases however, an irritant substance, such as ammonia is used. This is done to differentiate malingering from true loss of sense of smell. A person with true loss of sense of smell will recoil from irritant substances. (irritant substances stimulate 2 kinds of receptors and not just smell) While a person with malingering will deny any sensation.
