Just bought the Carbon 49 and it's complements nicely with windows 7 and Cubase 7 :D
The Carbon 49 is a dedicated MIDI controller. Meaning it does not have speakers, nor an AC slot. It draws off your laptop/PC. Great for composers ^^,
The keys are actually pretty decent. Not as big as a full sized piano but they're not something you can really complain about them.
ALL keyboards should have an iPad holder end of!!
I'm wondering if the IPad Pro is too heavy for the holder. Of course, you have to use it in Portrait mode. I'm wondering if I can use it to hold the Pro for reading music, I will drive sounds from my laptop or phone..

Neelesh, yes you can, but you must have a sound source such as a sound module.

I'm not sure if they do have Native Instruments apps for the iPad. The DVD bundled with the Carbon only has the Win / Mac installer. I think one has to rely on the voices and instruments integrated in GarageBand, etc.
Where's the output for speakers? Can I play live performances with it???, i mean...using an Ipad and putting the outside sound on a speaker?

I plan to buy a carbon 49 but I'm confuse on the usb bus power. Looking for some reviews on carbon 49 use usb bus power as power supply from Ipad to turn it on? I'm using Korg X5DR module, I'm confuse where to get a power supply to the carbon 49 to turn it on. Can Korg X5DR module supply power to the carbon 49 to turn it on using 5 pin MIDI cable?

"Cannot Use Device" "James Lam: The connected device is not supported".

Jacques van Zuydam A friend of mine who owns more controllers told me it was bit 'hard'. I can only compare with a electronic piano I have, but there is no point comparing them. The piano touch is much better, but for its price, this controller is fine for me.
It's a midi keyboard, no speakers:)
