This season is so fucking interesting. So many build are possible. So much flexibility. First time ireally enjoy digging so much in talent choices. I dont even care about the dps we do compared to other. It's only about efficiency of the gameplay for each bosses or keys. Really cool to see you enjoying that as well. Hopefully we will be back in raid progress soon 💪
Love to hear that mate and great attitude, experimenting and learning your talents is so important so you can customise your build for any given situation, on top of yeah making the game more fun
@cheesey7395 yeah it's my first time playing it. I still feel relatively weak in multi target compared to other specs like re pally and fury warrior but it's at least fun. Do you think the damage might be more comparable in higher keys (or maybe I'm just doing something wrong?) Edit: I also find myself encouraged to play boomie more, and while it's nice to play if I just want to chill and focus on mechanics I find it a bit bland. I can't deny results either though. I get way better numbers in multi target with boomie and the single target is not so bad that it's a worse tradeoff. Perhaps I just need to get my crit up. It's unfortunately my lowest stat.
Appreciate the video. Love that you included some stuff on wildstalker vs dotc, that was something i wanted to ask: is that something you were planning to include to the feral compendium? aynway gonna check out the method guide, thx!
Could add more stuff about that to compendium in future but can't dedicate much time atm. When I start playing again and doing M+, will probably come back to that stuff as the tuning between the two should be more clear-cut by then. Will talk more about the hero trees in my M+ videos coming soon though.
Hey Cheesey, great vid but I'm super confused... How does Rampant Ferocity _not_ being affected by Bloodtalons make Biting without BT less punishing? Wouldn't it now mean that, for the most part, you only care about BT when applying PW's in aoe and can basically ignore it when Biting because it is only giving you damage on 1 target? And on the reverse, wouldn't RF being affected by BT mean that we _do_ care about BT in aoe because we always want to buff every bite with BT?
So if BT affected RF, it would mean you'd need to constantly proc it to min-max it, because Apex and Berserk naturally make you Bite more than you typically proc BT in a standard rotation. Right now we can more freely Bite with Apex procs or in Zerk without losing significant damage. But beyond that, if you do mess up your BT, you can choose to Bite and not lose as much damage. If it affected RF, everytime you mess up your BT, you are losing even more damage, making BT more complex and more punishing for those who make errors with it (and I think there's a healthy amount of min-max and complexity to BT as is without needing to add more). We still care about BT in AOE not sure how you got that impression, and it's still valuable to use on Bite (base Bite damage is still 50% of Bite+RFs damage even up to 4-5 targets and Ravage its much higher so there's still plenty of benefit there) but have to remember the AOE rotation naturally consumes BT charges faster due to Apex, so by reverting it, it means we can go back to prioritising Primal Wrath a little bit more with it and using on Bites when we can, rather than feeling like we constantly need it for Bites. You would have to refresh dots early and weave more Shrds in AOE to proc BT more (to where builders would get a bit degenerate and clunky) if the change went through as there's just too much damage gained from it. But yeah beyond that the fact the change would have killed any snapshotting priority is a big issue and putting way too much emphasis on Bite in AOE.
Haha I enjoy it but I'm sure it won't be a permanent thing, usually comes and goes in terms of viability between each tier. Agree though it can get boring when its the best pick for too long.
@@riccardocarlini1746 Well when you're playing Convoke you're not just playing Convoke if you get what I mean, you're playing all talents/builds that go with Convoke (and less so the ones that do not), plus the same damage profile (Bite-heavy) and so on. Change is always good, and needed to keep things feeling fresh.
what build are you using when you say that wild slashes isn't viable? i've tried to make other builds do as much dmg on the target dummies in dorn and the best i can do outside of a wild slashes build is pretty close to the wild slashes build. given that it is a static environment and only 5 targets, the static environment lends itself to buffing other builds, the 5 targets... there is variability there. but i don't know what build you are talking about, just what i'm using.
5 target dummies are pointless tests though because so much of a dungeon is single-target, and that's where Wild Slashes drops off significantly. If you want build recommendations I'd check out the guides I mentioned (Method + Compendium).
the sound of your voice brings me a euphoric joy that is often hard to come by, it is comparable to listening to Reload on repeat
Love that
As a financial analyst I love you rational way of looking for good build in every situation, really good job!
Every time I think I need a new cheesey video one pops up
Haha amazing, just don't think it too often 😅

Love that. Feral is so well made imo!

thank you for the video! one question, in the thrashing claws li build in the video, are you playing druid of the claw or wildstalker?
Wildstalker

cats up top
Unfortunately, Feral still can't get away from Convoke. To be honest, I'm already fed up with Convoke.

It's kinda crazy to me how people get fed up pressing one button every 2 minutes, perhaps visually fed up with the spell?
