In this emotional tour, I am accompanied by my dear friend Cambria, who, due to visitor restrictions, had never stepped foot inside before.
Together, we explored the eighth floor, where I underwent treatment, including both the cancer and COVID units. As I revisit the places with such significant memories, I share personal experiences, from tearful goodbyes to moments of triumph during physical therapy sessions.
Throughout the tour, we encounter fellow fighters, Danielle and Ashley, who are currently undergoing their treatments. We exchange updates, and encouragement, and bask in the camaraderie of those navigating similar journeys.
Join us as we reflect on the supportive atmosphere of the hospital and its profound therapeutic value. This journey emphasizes the importance of creating new positive memories, even amid adversity.
