Another great in depth review, thank you!
👍🏽
I’ve had my Fesley about a month now, best kit I’ve had. Previous was Simmons sdk9, Alesis Dm10, Fesley outperforms them both and NO silent snare! I’m happy with it!
Comparing to old ones I’m sure.
Mine will be here on Tuesday, I’m excited to play again after shoulder surgery
Awesome
How is it?
So far it’s great! The headphones are not the best and I’ve already rectified that.
@@dannyeggleton7362would you purchase again? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance sir.
@@dannyeggleton7362 have u plugged a doble kick¿¿
Thank you so much! enjoying it! cool man!!!🆒😎🥁
You’re welcome
Ordered mine waiting to receive it 😅 thanks for the review I went in blind but it had everything I wanted. Cheers
Looks like a more for your money kit. Can't go wrong
@@MrBeen992 a standalone hi hat is a huge plus, also I wanted originally the mps 1000, but given I am from Canada it was almost as much to ship as the kit itself.
@@taylordomy3982 also the 12 in snare and 10 in toms. That should be minimum standard sizes
@@taylordomy3982 and the 12 in snare and 10 in toms ! Should be a standard minimum
@@taylordomy3982 and the sizes of the snare and toms ! Big plus ! Should be standard sizes
I thought the toms sounded pretty good but the hi hat closed and snare were pretty bad. Maybe the 1400w will address those issues until then Titan 70 looks like the best kit for the money. Thanks for the indepth and honest video.

do u know when is the 1400w dropping¿¿
@@anderpro2845 no, my comment was more sarcastic going by past fesley numbering system. It's just good to see all manufacturers improving.
Great review, Keithron, informative and engaging! One question, how easy is it to break down and move for a gig, and how long to set back up? Does it have to be stripped down, or does it mostly fold away?
It’s simple as long as you do NOT take the cables off the rack.
@@KeithronPowell Cool, thanks!
I definitely agree with you about the sounds on this particular drum kit. The sounds leave a whole lot to be desired, and I’d have a hard time spending 800 bucks if I had to base this kit on just those.
Just your option how many kits do you really need anyway lol and are going to play live anyway and that's just his opinion because of his taste in music start there I need to look at the brain to see what he's talking about saying it's retro vague statement there every else looks nice is this a Rolland hell no , but price sell this kit needs reviewed by other people that dive into this kit more realistic I'm sure you can modify sounds toms ECT.
Agreed. In future reviews I’ll dive a bit deeper. I think the sounds are decent except the decay is unrealistic. I can’t wait to see what others think as well.
been waiting for a review of the FED 1200W i want to order one but i have doubts on it because yk. but great video!
Thanks
Did you end up ordering @Mukler161 just curious about experience if so. Have a good day.
@@keystonepirate2534 No 😭
What happened to the "here we go!" ??
It’s coming back. Been waiting to see if anyone would notice and how the intro affects the video.
I have the alesis nitro mesh kit and I am thinking of buying the Fed 1200w, do you recommend this change? Excellent video bro!!!
If i were moving from an Alesis the only 2 ways I would go is Roland or Yamaha. Your moving from one beginner kit to another beginner kit.
@@aggressiveaccentsbest answer ever
I’d answer that two ways. 1) because of the hi hat and 12in snare also, the rack. This drum feels more like an acoustic. If you’re going to be moving back and forth the natural feel makes this great. 2) the sounds and the module are the real issue. If I was going to buy for something other than practice I’d have to get a different module. If this has the Roland, Alesis or Yamaha module it’d be a really sick drum set. To me the drum set is physically better than the nitro mesh but the module is 5-10 years behind.
@@KeithronPowell I use my alesis nitro with ez drummer 3 to improve the sound, do you think it is convenient to change the nitro for the fesley fed 1100 o 1200? contemplating that I will continue using ez drummer 3 to improve the sound. I'm worried about the fesley snare will cause problems as the video shows. Alesis nitro works perfectly with ez drummer 3 but fesley looks amazing vs alesis nitro. Tnks!!
Can you make customs user kits on this module?
Thanks for posting. I have never heard of this company. I am looking to replace my beat out GTX Yamaha drums at I used to teach for kids. I’ve been playing on the same ser for well over 12 years and I’m wondering if I would be able to just use my DX brain substitute for the brain that comes with that kit. thanks for posting
You’ll just have to try it. I don’t have that module to test it for you.
Titan 70 still my favorite e kit for under 1000$.
Yeah, the Titan 70 is a beast.
I can’t argue with that. It’s awesome
What about changing the Module?
The Drums, Cymbals, Hardware and the Rack are stunning, AS far as i know since your Review...
So, why don't try to Change the Module to a better one, or even better Sounding one?
What would you Recommend?
Thnx,🥁🥁
Ok… so in the initial review it’s a good idea to NOT make changes. Now that I’ve down that I may make some changes but… does that really make a good drum set? I’ve done at least one test and found that the hi hat will not work properly on the Titan series drums (no video). This logically means the module will likely function well for everything except the hi hat… I’m also, sure the Tom’s will become dual zone exactly like the T70 (multiple sounds) instead of the tom sound from the Fesley module. In my opinion, it’s better to use the drum with something like EZDrummer. This would make for a great drum if the sounds were better.
Okay, thank you Keithron.
I know what you Said .
So, If i choose that Kit i just Set Up it trough EZ or SLATE or whatever and i' ll be satisfied with the Sound .

Fed 1200w vs. Titan 70
Which one do you feel is a better kit for a young beginner to grow in?
That’s not an easy question. If you’re looking for a realistic feel the 1200W feels more like an acoustic but there again, a beginner won’t know that. When it comes to sounds the Titan wins hands down. The main thing that makes this a better buy for a beginner is that everything you need is in the box.
Can you switch out some of the fesley drums and cymbals with the titan 70? The hihats/ride cymbals the titan could be fun. Or the fesley snare with the titan
The hi hat will not work properly the T70. Everything else will work
@@KeithronPowell are there any expansions slots for additional pads or would this be a job for splitters?
@@travisfinnerty156 no expansion slots.
I've had mine for a week and it's a great drum kit for the money, however I do agree that the sounds could be better. And the throne is just too small for me to use, but atleast it holds my laptop so I can run my own sounds in EZDrummer.
EZDrummer makes this a killer drum set
Stephen sir, do you use any 3rd party sounds? Did you try EZdrummer? Thank you in advance sir.
It has a choke on the cymbals ! What! Mind blown
@@keystonepirate2534 Yup, EZdrummer is great with this kit. I'm more of a rock/metal player so I'm using Ugritone VST sounds now.
Besides the sounds not been all that , how do you think it compares to the titan 70??
If I remove sounds from the mix… this is better feeling but… sounds are very important. Its the entire purpose of the drum.
3 bass!! 🤣 BUT does the snare have rimshot? or just crossstick?
Just cross stick
Which one is better? Felsey fed1200w or Alesis Surge Mesh SE Kit?
I’d say Surge.. for the same reasons I’d choose the T70.
What are the sizes for all cymbals and Tom’s?
All toms are 10in snare 12, ride 13 and 10 cymbals.
can u plug a doble kick in it¿¿
You can 1) put a double bass pedal on or 2) split the cable and add a separate kick drum.
What are the dimensions? Also can u make kits in the module
I’m adding that to my video that I’m about finished filming.
I haven’t measured it so I can’t type it now
Is the hihat a variable controller ?
my question as well. also with the 1000
The 1000 and the 1200 are the same. In the video I try to show what they can actually do. I can trigger with my foot or the sticks… but there aren’t multiple sounds so it’s prone to machine gunning.
@@KeithronPowell I suppose it has to be connected to EZdrummer to know if it can do variable hihat
Titan 70s killer
Only in hardware…
@@KeithronPowellthank you for feedback, the sound is a bummer. Cymbals choke is great
Keith. I have a Simmons Titan 70, which I believe is superior as a playing set. Four toms, expansion ability (I want to add another cymbal in the center between the first two toms). I don't like the flimsy plastic hardware and are going to buy extras in case they fail over time. The wiggling is a bit annoying, but as long as it holds together, it's not that big of a deal as there is no reason to hit electric sets hard anyway.
On the Fesley 1200, clearly the hardware is superior, but the module seems poor compared to the Simmons. The double clicking on the hi hat is unacceptable to me, and I would be pissed off big time by it. Maybe they can fix it with a software upgrade. If one was going to use external sounds on a computer to drive the set, then it would be fine except for the hi hat issue. I find the sounds and ability to make my own custom sets in the Simmons adequate, and don't feel the need to run it through a computer.
I enjoy your reviews! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Yeah, if they fix the sounds and the double trigger issue… whoa, this would be a monster set for under $1000
@mike-xq8bv 2 months… only 2 months? Thats a shame! Ok.. as to when I get a moment I will work in the module but… the decay rate is my main issue. Next is just the grouping.
Honestly..... The Titan 50 sounds better, but almost everything is better on the Fesley.
I can’t disagree. If either Fesley upgrades their sounds or Simmons upgrades their hardware… there is a serious potential for Roland and others to have a problem!
“Three-Bass” 😂😂😂
I heard you played the song pretty well but I bought one like that song doesn’t right pretty much bad I don’t recommend some one to buy it
I’m confused… what song?
What
What, what?
Keith please do a short video on the module because I think if you tweak some parameters this kit could be nice if it's lacking substance it could hold some people back from buying this kit I like it I have sd1200 and started sd9k 20 years ago did a lot of tweeking after two months I got it right the cross talk was the last to get in line ty look forward to more vids
