Taxiing Onto A ROAD? Flying a Beechcraft Debonair to Beaumont Kansas

- Today we're taking a flight with Paul, who flies with his wife and their four and six year old sons in a Beechcraft Debonair B-33. He is currently working to fly to all lower 48 states with his family, having completed 33 in the last four years.
Paul stopped by to say hello to us at Stearman Field during the ACCA's. Being very familiar with the area, he was excited to share one of his favorite spots in Kansas. K07S is the field we flew to and it is unique because the runway is connected to a road, that joins the airfield with the small town of Beaumont.

My CFI knows a guy who got a ticket from the Beaumont Volunteer Police Department for failing to stop at the stop sign in his Bonanza - apparently the rules of the road apply to pilots too!
Must certainly be a great story for him to tell now! And a good lesson...
