this watch is indestructible, i had mine in 2008 and still working . only changed batteries 2x ever since. 1st battery replacement was on 2016 and the second is today :D
Thanks for this man! I've been waiting for this tutorial. I managed to pick one of these up after your December video on it. I had never seen one of these in person, and seeing pictures of it, I would have assumed it was too big and chunky for my wrist, but your video convinced me otherwise. It looks great on my wrist.
Hey, I was wondering whether to purchase this model or the G-6900, would you be able to tell me what you think? Also, love these videos even though I have no g-shocks myself, keep it up
@@WatchGeek I was actually pointing out the spelling error in the title 😂 Nevertheless, great content like always. I owned one of these back in the day.
If you take care of them, by not letting them sit in a drawer for months and keep it charged they can last very very long, my oldest ones are 17 years now and still no sign of weakening
As Travis said! I prefer the 7900, especially the GW version in just about everything, BUT would still get this instead just because of those fake screws that love to fall out. My friends GW7900 that I used for the review has lost 3 of them so far 😂. Also this has an auto repeat Countdown timer which i use more than any other function
Just purchased this, rather old, model of GShock. Thanks again for very clear and no-nonsense tutorial!
This and the G9000 Mudman are two of my favorite watches

Oldie and a Goodie. Have owned and held several versions of this Gulfman for many years, my favorite being a Blue version. Thanks for the video.
Just ordered one here in UK, should be here tomorrow! May be an older model but it’s one of my favourites
Just grabbed one of these and really happy with it- cheers for the review 👍🏼
The Watch Geek that I love!!!
Bravo for the cool tutorial man!
That's the content i enjoy.
Thank you !🙏🏼
Love your videos!
Love from India
Ha! I found it! Love this style of Gshock...so cool.

Can You tell me. Is this watch for small wrist?
cant seem to bring up the tide and moon settings menu on my watch did i go wrong somewhere when setting the time?
One question, 7900 or Gulfman? Help me decide.
If you have a small wrist, Gulfman, if you have a large one, 7900 😁
@@WatchGeek Makes sense, thanks for the tip 👍🏼
I never knew the Gufman series existed.
Yup one of my favorite ones, like a Mudman but much easier to operate due to easy to press buttons

Oh c...p!! Thanks for pointing it out, I just corrected it. 😁
👍⌚🇪🇸🇨🇴 gracias
Cool piece!
Doesn't have 24hr time does it? Unable to figure it out after a battery change.
Does tough solar g shocks last forever or do battery die after couple of years?

@@WatchGeek Wow thats amazing, thank you for answer🙌
So tempted to grab one. This or G-7900?
7900 for the large display of moon and tide data as well as the overall display format being larger.
Be wary of the size as well, this wears smaller than the 7900
I don't know if my eyes are tricking me but the numbers on the gulfman looks smaller than the g-7900?
@@duffvader6731 yes they are smaller.

My setting and menu for moon tide for this model are disappearing after changing battery
Self note: To change pm/am press search
After pressing light button on my G9100, my watch display gone blank..😢 please help me out guys!
Just go change new battery
G9000 or G9100?
9100!! Much easier to press the buttons
