- Grammy-winning Cynthia Erivo lends her incredible pipes to the Proms for what will be a beautiful night of tributes to the women who inspired her. Performing at the Royal Albert Hall, and backed by the BBC Concert Orchestra, Erivo will cover hits from iconic artists such as Etta James, Nina Simone, Shirley Bassey, Billie Holiday, and Gladys Knight.

Finally, someone who didn’t over sing this beautiful song! No one sings it like Etta, but CE brilliantly kept the purity of the original masterpiece. She showed respect for the song and Etta.
