I like the fact he is prepared to wear the heat of the pc brigade. I wasn't aware of his Harvey Weinstein twitter controversy as if questioning what was happening on the other side of the equation. He states he is neither R wing or a misogynist, - the usual attack lines. He obviously, as we all do, has his own flaws. He tends to dismiss way to quickly those who hold alternate positions on the talk back component, where he generates more polarisation than he needs to. I would have been one to have judged him adversely on this in the past. Now I appreciate he has provided a forum where an alternate perspective on important issues can be aired
Sean , I think for the most part fills a space in the media that needed to be filled and I am glad of that . He calls BS on a lot issues that need to be called out . Sometimes he has views that make me want to throw my phone out the window
Sean for one, needs to stop interrupting and talking over people. I had to stop listening because of this. He makes light of it, but it gets a bit much especially when he asks someone a question, then proceeds to talk over them while answering it.
I hate Sean, and love him at the same time. That's maybe the mark of a great broadcaster. That's why I think Leighton Smith would be a great interview.

Everyone thinks he is right wing, just because the mainstream media are so left biased. He doesn't give his political opinions. He just asks the difficult questions right off the bat. If you watch for his wry smile, you'll be able to see that he asks the questions that he thinks will wind up his guest. He's a shit stirer, and he makes me laugh.

I listen live to The Platform on and off but download a lot of RCR. It’s a nice mix of information covering many topics. RCR is the best though for those topics no one else is talking about.
I’ve liked Sean Plunkett for many years now but his whole take on Covid vaccines and the harm they have done really disappoint me. The whole cooker bullshit and the way he speaks to anyone discussing this issue is just sad and a really good picture of people living in a brainwashed bubble. I cottoned on pretty quick when Paul Brennan, Rodney Hyde, Neil Oliver, people like that suddenly disappeared from The Platform. Saying that Sean has done a lot of good work for NZ for sure. So thank you for that.
My main criticism of Plunket, is not his outspokenness, but rather that he underestimates his audience which leads him to steer the interviewee to over-simplification.

I absolutely love the platform. I’m a millennial and sick of mainstream media telling me how to think and being spewed rubbish from the left. I just want balanced news to form my own opinion. Sean isn’t afraid to practice free speech and it’s extremely refreshing.
But sadly, Sean will still not turn the UA-cam chat into the Platforms' town square. I won't sign up to the main platform as the app doesn't give enough information for the money. Plus, with how much I'm online I normally learn about the news before the platform, so that's why I want the UA-cam chat turned into the Platforms' town square. Unless Sean makes a town square chat inside the platform app, but able to just purchase that part of the app outside the main app. Free speech is there to protect the speech you don't want to hear & a town square would give people a chance to say want they wanted to without being at risk of losing their job for saying so. Since, we have worked out how to keep our personal information out of our username & online apps. Just over not having people on the chat not calling me out on my bullshit as we can't grow as a person like at.
