Hi, I really appreciate your offer for the stock exhaust however, it is not just the exhaust that I need, but the whole rear end. Since this is what I will get, the UK/EU spec. So, I think I order the whole thing from GM directly, the rear end, exhaust and carbon wheels. Again really appreciate for your help. Another thing is I miscalculate the price. The car is $430,000 in total. ($216,000 plus tariff and shipping cost from UK to Thailand.) At least, my car might be the first and only C8 Zo6 here.
@@HorsePowerObsessed can you do a video on how to change the DCT fluids and refilling it. I know how to change the DCT filter from your videos just not a complete DCT fluid change and fill
So, apparently if I want the Carbon wheels, I have to pay $40,000 since I am did not order carbon wheel from GM, $20,000 price is for those who ordered with the car. However, there is no Carbon wheel option for the UK spec and now I have to find someone, who has the car with carbon wheels, to order them for me.... What a pain...
It’s no more difficult for GM to build a ZR1 than a Z06. The ZR1 was the end goal of the C8 platform to begin with. With all of the work, why would GM not want to sell as many as possible. There is no shortage of carbon fiber, GM may need to find additional suppliers.
ZR1 is awesome. But the weight is a deal breaker imo. The lightest C8 Z07 coupe STILL CORNERS WORSE than C7 GS/Z06/ZR1's on the skidpad. Laferrari & Senna 1.16g C8z. 1.16g 765LT. 1.18g ZL1 1LE 1.18g C7z's 1.19-1.22g (2nd best of all time).. only beat by 992 GT3RS (1.24g) So sure, added aero will = better handling at high speed. But adding 250-550lb will be VERY noticeable in rwd or awd ZR1's
@@HorsePowerObsessed not sure. I tried when you first mentioned it like few months ago & then recently. I’ll try again soon maybe it will finally work. Its only the red the yellow worked even when it was horsepower20
I was trying that before l. Worked with the yellow. Was it the same exact code last time too for both? I’ll let you know. How long will this code last, how much time do I have?
I get the argument for staying with a Z06, but at the same time if thats how we are looking at this then why aren't we all driving Stingrays then (I know some of us are)???
Techs can’t figure out how to change the oil? Sad to say I’m not surprised. The level of knowledge, experience, care, pride in workmanship, etc…has been steadily on the decline over the last 15-20 years. Pathetic. Lack of discipline and self starters continuous education. Lack of standards.
Kind of wild how a fully loaded Z07 coupe is $185.. and fully loaded ZR1 ZTK coupe is $195 (maybe $205k w/ CF wheels). Just a $20k difference for 'same' spec cars is surprising Also: I noticed C7 ZR1 carbon blower lids browning too. But it seems to only be the top of the lid piece, & not the extractor vents. I think they used a different 'heat-resistant' UV pre-preg epoxy on just the blower covers. And it doesnt work against UV. Cuz in several pics, the sides of them (hidden from light) are fine.. and the rest of the car is fine. So if it was the heat, the bottom & sides would also be brown.🤷♂️
Not when it's limited through the first few gears to help with traction control. You really won't feel the extra power until 50 to 60 mph if I had to guess.
The difference between a C8 ZR1 vs. C8 Z06 will be night and day. Torque will be back, and at much lower rpm. ………. …. Difference gap will be much more than the between the C7 ZR1 vs. C7 Z06. We have always been told that torque is what matters, acceleration you feel, over hp…. until the new Z06 torque numbers were released? What happened?
Of course you are going to buy a new ZR1 if offered to you. The Z06 is no longer the big dog. You won’t be able to handle that. 😅 Selling your Z06 without taking a big loss is not realistic.

Parabéns pelo excelente trabalho em divulgar o C8,aqui Brasil sensacional esse carro ❤

I have a diffuser too...

Pricing of a fully spec’d C8 Z06 makes the new ZR1 pricing seem reasonable.
Your car is bad ass. What more do you need.
Truth.

If you need to justify the price difference between the Z06 and ZR1…. Probably an indicator that it’s not a good financial move.
Probably true.

None of the wings looks good they should have used the one off the c8r
Only the yellow corvette works the red one never did few months ago or now? I wonder why your code never works for the red
What doesn’t work about it? I just tried it and it worked for me?
@@HorsePowerObsessed not sure. I tried when you first mentioned it like few months ago & then recently. I’ll try again soon maybe it will finally work. Its only the red the yellow worked even when it was horsepower20
You can always put in the code manually which is "HPO50" for the red one. Try that and let me know.

Im just going to put a super charger or twin turbo in my stingray
and still be slower than a ZR1
It’s possible but will have to do alot

You’re going to notice that 400 fr lbs of torque in everyday driving though.
