    Man I’m wondering if at the end there when white delivers that check with the rook if black has gone a6 with the king instead of b6 if she’s be able to hold because black would have rook b b6 to counter white rook to e8. Still looks losing but a more valiant effort maybe?

    I watched the FIDE Chess video and Nigel decided to take his break just before the ending... and then didn't show the moves to the end :\ (Even though they were discussed before and kind of obvious) So this video is welcomed !       It's a sound thing. He has to fix the audio otherwise you'll hear the sounds be doubled. It's just he ALWAYS forgets to fix it and only realizes once he starts moving the pieces and hears it himself.

    so the engine knew way before the end of the game that it was mathematcally dead for Wenjun ! she can just wait for a mistake from opponent, but it rarely happen at this level
