    12:38 is it possible here to play h3 in order to remove bishop from protecting the e2 and after that play Bxd4+ In this case we have the similar situation but with a knight, don't we?

    Agadmator says that because he feels a double reverb from his speakers, so he lowers the volume. He clarified this one or two years back. So you guys can stop making memes now.

      Thanks for clarifying, although it probably also means that he can stop apologising for it and just adjust the volume, since hardly anyone seems to notice the problem, but everyone is noticing the apology.

    No mystery about h4. The purpose of h4 was to open c4 for the bishop check and then taking the pawn. Whether it was the best move is another question.

      Probably. I heard than Russian has no x, but they use k, but English speakers tend to substitute x for k to get the correct sound. I find this stuff interesting, but I have no expertise.

    You can't move the bishop. If you move the bishop, you just remove the defender of the bishop and pick up the bishop.

      Qxf6 would only work in this position if it were white to move. Because it is black to move, this threat will be neutralized by the movement of the queen or rook

    The point of a4 is Bc4 check. She played it because the b5 pawn was controlled c4. This is the only logical explanation I think.

      To make it fair of course. If it isn't separated. Men will dominate the world championships. No woman will be able to come out on top. It's of course obvious that the elite male GMs are far stronger than these elite female GMs.. So, in order for women to have a chance in achieving superiority, they separated the championships.👍

      @@Yash42189 Hou Yifan has been over 1 year without competing. She just remains her last FIDE rating but that is not an indicative of her current level. If you don't play for a long period of time, you lose practice and form.

      They are not separated by force like in sports. There's tournaments like this one where only women can play, and the rest are open to everybody. (Men only does not exist. There'd be no point) Why? Because when there's a normal tournament, women don't go to it. When there's a women's tournament, they do go. Why this happens is a whole other topic, but the fact that it does is all the reason they need to hold said tournament.

    I love your channel but i feel like your analysis is lazy at times, for instance, at 4:40 the queen is clearly placed there to defend the pawn on a6. In a previous game between alireza and artemiev u misanalysed a move by saying this would be better for alireza if played but it was actually checkmate if played (QH8). Just an observation, still love your channel though,.

      @@pand9293 I don't think it is sexist to state something that is obvious although I don't know his reasons for mentioning it or why it needs to be said at all.. The reasons why they are not as good as the top male GMs is a complex question. It could be that men are, other things being equal, better equipped to develop as chess players. That is difficult to objectively determine and it will likely remain difficult to determine. As long as many more men are playing and competing in chess, the odds are that more good male players will emerge.
