Our choir is singing this song Sunday and I do not know it. It is beautiful. A story that I hope blesses everyone. Please pray for me as I try to sing this song with our choir. I ministers to me.
The first time I ever heard Twila it was about 1980 I was living under an overpass near Fayetteville Arkansas and I found her tape in the parking lot at the mall and I always thought it was God's way of saying that he was watching out for me. I listen to it for a long time. I also remember this recording Charlie sang How Great Thou Art and Twila also sang How Beautiful on that show I had it on VHS for a long time it was about 1991
I heard her singing this song at a concert, right after 9/11. She was on stage all by herself, playing solo piano, no other instruments, just her and her voice and the piano. It was very moving.
I very much enjoy this, but, I wish she still toured and wrote songs but I honestly believe she wrote the hymnal 4 this generation- however, I did see her in KnoxvilleTn years ago ❤
lot of people forget or fail to hear how she influenced future gospel and other songs. Go listen to an amazing grace rendition with chris tomlins chains are broken … same chords
Still amazing and brings me to tears

Oooooh.. amazing ! Soooo Good , what a great voice ! What a blessing to be that inspired and be able to express it that clearly !!!??.
Beautiful! No such song writers and singers exist today, at least I have not seen them anywhere, mostly just self adoring show offs.
