Absolutely love Black Hawk Down’s soundtrack as well. I have fond memories of hearing this on my Dad’s Bose system in the early 2000’s and being blown away. It’s what got me into HT
Put the front speakers on stands.. It'll cut down on the boomy effect when speakers are on a hard surface.. Put rubber doorstops under the corners of the centre speaker at the front.. The angled ones are the best.. Otherwise an very good setup..
Klipsch speaker wise I've: RP- 400M as my stereo fronts on speaker stands.. On top of them are ATMOS / Elevation speakers are Klipsch R-14SA. My centre speaker will be (RP-400C or RP-404C) currently a JBL 120C from a previous system. Subwoofer is a Klipsch R-100SW. .. Surround speakers are Mission M5DS bipole speakers.. Eventually every speaker will be Klipsch.. Set to a 5.1.2 speaker config in Dolby ATMOS upfiring. Through a Denon X2400H receiver. Which sounds very good in my 11ft x 13ft living room.
Nice clean setup bud, most of us have to make do with what we got room wise and looks like you pulled it off nicely, noticed you have the RP-160M toed in slightly, now I don't know how they compare to the rp600m(what i have) but I would probably wouldn't toed them in at all as the imaging of these speakers are unreal and cause you don't have a wide front stage it's best to keep that imaging as wide as possible giving a even wider sweet spot, I would upgrade to the rp600m next and use the RP-160M as your rears down the line, I wouldn't bother upgrading to pre-amps anytime soon as the Klipsch are highly efficient and look in to room treatment partially in the front stage like a rug in front of the Tv, Best of luck with the channel😁😁
I really appreciate your comment man. That is true its difficult to have the “perfect” room but if you really want something you try to make it work the best you can. I do have them toed slightly facing the listener but you’re right that they do have a wide projection so it most likely doesn’t make a big difference. I was just going off speaker recommendations positions. The plan is to upgrade to floor standing speakers and move the 160M’s to the rear. Would also like to get a pair of RP-402S as the surround. we potentially will be moving houses so I may add these to my setup if the setup is right. but I would need to upgrade to a 9.1 AMP. The 600M’s were just announced when I was buying these speakers and I was thinking of waiting but I read aesthetically its different but not much difference in sound. Got a really good price for my setup so I pulled the trigger. We got a rug soon after my first video :) I think you can see It in my demo video. Not sure if its made a big difference but I think this is the most I can do to the room acoustically without over doing it. One thing I am not happy with is my height/atmos speakers. i find they are not powerful enough. I’m pretty sure my front speakers drown out my height speakers also I should have widen the position of the speakers. Instead of being directly above me it would be better to the side. I find having the speaker above it sounds like it coming from the front. But when I position myself in the middle of the two speakers, my ears can position the sound a lot better. Anyway that’s a video in it self. I want to make a video about this and see what people think. Thanks for the sub too!

Loved your real world review! I have the RP- 160ms as well with the 450 center (a beast I know) and I’m very happy with the setup. I was wondering how you crossover your L & R (80hz?) as I see they are very close to a corner and most probably not enough room to breathe. Do they get very boomy where they currently are? Anyways good stuff! Thanx
Roy Rodriguez thanks for watching! I’ve been so busy but will have a demo video up soon of the speakers running. Hopefully I’ll be able to capture the quality as much as I can. Yeah 450 are insane! They do over power the 160s which is crazy but not necessarily a bad thing. My receiver set the L R channels at 0.0db and the rp-450 at -4.0 I guess the 450 was meant to play with the towers (aka. The big boys 😂)
Roy Rodriguez I had to do the same for my rears. Because they are smaller the front speakers over power them so I have turned up my rear speakers (same story with my heights). very nice way too start , good system! you know of course if you buy a 2 channel amplifier you can make it a 5.2.4 set up ,and a 2nd sub. just go into the menu look in the speaker configuration there is a amplifier assign it might take awhile to figure it out , thats how its done! like i said its a good start! enjoy!!!!
Thanks for the comment. And yes that’s a good point. I have been wondering if I will be able to add more speakers without having to upgrade the Denon. Have also wanted to have a dedicated power amp to give more power to the front. Do you think I could achieve a 7.2.2? I’m in the position now to finally have dedicated rear speaker and have side surround speakers.
I do not think that is possible without your amp supporting that format.... May be you can connect them in parallel to your surrounds.. But not sure how your amp takes up the extra load
That’s true. I wasn’t able to add more speakers. I wanted more speakers so I recently upgraded to a denon 6500H. Now working towards 7.2.4. Still building the room.
Im not gonna boast, but do you know if you have enough power from your amplifier to all your speakers? Considering you got a 5.1.2 sound system, your amplifier can lack in power sufficiency in lower frequencies set at the crossover from 80hz to 20khz, the subwoofer can handle it self and depending if you calibrated it at 20hz at your loudest db from your listening position, like 20hz at 80db to your ears with out peaking the subwoofer at its maximum volume output at 1 meter, and you need to calibrate all your speakers at 80hz to your listening position through a dsp metre without it peaking its loudest db volume from one meter, if you hear any roll of on the bass or high frequencys, its time to update with an external amplifier rated for your speakers, you would at least want a 2 channel driven amplifier that powers 100 watts each in each speaker from 20hz to 20khz and you'll want to only do this for the 2 left and right speakers, and your atmos speakers only, the Reciver itself can power the centre and rear speakers, only of they both have a sufficiency to meet the power amps requirements. At least calculate all the watts from each speaker together, and find out how much power you need to feed them all from an amplifier, that way you can perform the loudest db performed from your speakers without any low or high frequencys rolling off its loudness, cause its the detail in sound you will want to hear when your listening to your movies at least give this a try, remember when calibrating, put how many metres you need to set on there from your listening position and then calibrate with a dsp meter, when also doing this, that is when you will want to make sure and check that at 1 meter once you set the speakers at your listening position, they are not peaking at its loudest set db from what it ranges to, because in order to get a speaker loud at your listening position, it needs to produce a louder volume from where it is then where you are. And buy the way if you have that small subwoofer still, put it to use, you still can callibrate that 20 hz as well, and that will help increase the volume for your low frequencys, it doesnt matter if its different, it helps only increases the dynamic range. Good luck i hope you can do that if needed.
1) Are your front speakers have some bass issues due to low distance from the wall? 2) What are those stands for front speakers? Regards! I'm planning on buying Klipsch cinema too :)
To me I couldn’t fault the front speakers even through they were close to the rear wall. They still sounded fantastic. Not sure what you mean by the stands? They’re just sitting on the tv unit. I have since moved and will be uploading a new video of the new setup. Very excited
Was your ceiling prewired or did you do the wiring yourself? If latter, could share any helpful tips? I also live in a townhouse, but don’t have the prewiring and that is the biggest roadblock for me going for in-ceiling speaker vs wall mount front height speaker.
Yes I did wire it myself. it was a challenge and keep in mind that you will most likely need to cut into the plaster then will need to patch it up afterwards. I will be making a video about this next week. have had a few people asking about this. thanks for the comment!
Dear bro, I have this reciver but instead of 7 speakers I some how ended up with 9 speakers. Speakers are 1 pair klipsch r51m, 2 pair r 41m, 1 pair r 41sa and r52c. Can I play those 2 extra speakers with tuus avr? Is there any way to make the avr 9.2?
I would go dedicated speaker sound system over sound bar any day. Better sound dispersion, louder, clearer, “bassier”and customizable. But if you’re after a simple setup yes the LG is a good option or the new Sonos arc with rears.
Saketh Kanagala sounds like you’re starting off so maybe something like the 1600h or 2600h denon Amps. Something other pre-amp would be nice but you’re spending a bit more. Depending on where you are you should be able to get a second hand one or older model for a good deal
Hey buddy, at the time the speakers cost around 3000AUD together. And the amp was around 900AUD. Roughly 4000. Things have changed since and will try to update this soon
Hard to tell buddy. Would have to try go to a local store (when you can) and listen yourself. But I’d imagine they’d sound similar. If you had the room I guess I’d go for the 4 drivers. Possibly better sounds dispersed
The 404c would sound better in my opinion but again depends on space. They’re similarly spec’ed. Center is most important so this is a good option if you decide on it. I was extremely happy with the 250c so I don’t think you’ll be disappointed
new to home theater set ups, i see so many people using Klipsch....almost everyone actually, or SVS. just curious if you, or anyone else on here, knows anything about Paradigm Studio speakers??? ive read nothing but good things about them but i cant for the life of me find any video walk throughs or anyone showing off more than the fronts or some bookshelf speakers. just curious if you knew why?? i feel like there is something im missing.
welcome to the home theatre family! lol. yeah I do agree that a great deal of people lean towards Klipsch. its maybe a mix of trend but also because you get great sound for decent price and they look nice (specially if you have the cover off). also they tend to have the right sound for a home theatre setup. im in Australia and I haven't seen many stores selling Paradigm's (mainly in the city). as far as I know the price is very expensive which is probably the main reason why mainstream customers wouldn't go for them. id be interested to hear them in person though in a home theatre setup. I've only seen them in 2 channel setup for music.
@@lequidsnake thank you for the warm welcome!! yeah I was mainly asking because I fell into an entire paradigm set up for home theater. I didn't know their value at the time, but im just waiting for a denon receiver to get them all wired up.... I ended up going with SVS prime elevations for my atmos, but I have the studio 100s, ADP470s, CC570, and 20s all v3. i also managed to pick up a studio sub15! cant wait to hear them for the first time! maybe ill make a video since i cant seen to find any on youtube yet. anyways thanks for putting out the great content! cheers.
wow! thats some serious equipment you got there. yes please, definitely consider uploading! would be great to see all that in action. I wish I had the room for that type of system but hopefully in the next few years. i have been interested in the SVS elevations as I feel my height speakers are lacking but unfortunately wouldn't pass the WAF. I want to eventually upgrade to a SVS subwoofer. but I think I will upgrade the ceiling first to Klipsch PRO-160RPC and hopefully the height sounds will be more pronounced. anyway would love to see your setup once you're all done! take care
Hey there doesn’t seem to be a specific model. Not sure if this will work but can share this link: shorturl.at/kE018 maybe try searching for SA24 speaker mount? Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
The tv is not what makes it atmos. It’s the speakers working with the amplifier and the content playing that makes it atmos. Tv is just for visuals. Amplifier needs to be atmos compatible to play atmos content. There is also no such thing as “atmos” speakers. Any speaker can be installed in a atmos setup.
Yes definitely it would be. I wanted to get a pair of RP-402 or RP-502 but they are too large for the area. Need to Concorde wife factor! I created a new video about moving into a new home with a better room for a home theatre so the new room will be much better. I’ll be making some new videos about this new setup. Can’t wait!
@@lequidsnake you could place the RP-402S at head height when stood up.. So the woofer is at the height of your ear. So when you sit down.. The 402S speakers will be at the perfect height.
Tybok C you have a good point there. I wanted to do this but was limited because of space. We’ve since moved houses and lucky enough to have a dedicated room. Will be making a video of this soon!

I have changed the heights position and got a new rug so thinking I will run the calibration again and see what the results are.
Very nice set up! Do you have any details on the media cabinet? Brand , where to buy?
Very nice set up. Where did you buy the mounts for the rear speakers? Thank you great video.
very nice way too start , good system! you know of course if you buy a 2 channel amplifier you can make it a 5.2.4 set up ,and a 2nd sub. just go into the menu look in the speaker configuration there is a amplifier assign it might take awhile to figure it out , thats how its done! like i said its a good start!
Great video bro
Hey, thanks for share very great info. But I would like to know how everything is connected?
Jealous of that setup. Looks good.
Thanks buddy. I’m hoping to update the channel with the new home theatre soon
Speakers are
1 pair klipsch r51m, 2 pair r 41m, 1 pair r 41sa and r52c.
Can I play those 2 extra speakers with tuus avr? Is there any way to make the avr 9.2?
Which one do you prefer. This one or LG SN7R 35" 5.1.2 or any sound bards with woofer?
I would go dedicated speaker sound system over sound bar any day. Better sound dispersion, louder, clearer, “bassier”and customizable. But if you’re after a simple setup yes the LG is a good option or the new Sonos arc with rears.
@@lequidsnake thanks for reply. I've ordered klipsch for$350 which receiver do you suggest?
Saketh Kanagala sounds like you’re starting off so maybe something like the 1600h or 2600h denon Amps. Something other pre-amp would be nice but you’re spending a bit more. Depending on where you are you should be able to get a second hand one or older model for a good deal
@@lequidsnake I'm in Dallas. Thanks for your reply, I'll find out.
Can you do a video for only your background settings without you been there., only the beginning part
how much does this set up cost in total? this set up is amazing btw
Hey buddy, at the time the speakers cost around 3000AUD together. And the amp was around 900AUD. Roughly 4000. Things have changed since and will try to update this soon
Hi, can I find out what is the TV height from the floor to the bottom of the TV? I'm planning a similar setup like yours. Thanks!
nice setup wish i could afford one like that lol
Took me a while to save up and a lot of research! Helps to that I found a reseller that sells klipsch speaker at a reasonable price
Would this work on a viewsonic projector?
Hey, which one would be better between the RP600C and RP404C? Better to have two bigger 6" drivers or its better to have for 4" drivers? Thanks!
Hard to tell buddy. Would have to try go to a local store (when you can) and listen yourself. But I’d imagine they’d sound similar. If you had the room I guess I’d go for the 4 drivers. Possibly better sounds dispersed
@@lequidsnake thanks for the answer! In my town i cant hear them, we dont have audio/video showrooms unfortunately!
The 404c would sound better in my opinion but again depends on space. They’re similarly spec’ed. Center is most important so this is a good option if you decide on it. I was extremely happy with the 250c so I don’t think you’ll be disappointed
@@lequidsnake good, thanks for your opinion!
new to home theater set ups, i see so many people using Klipsch....almost everyone actually, or SVS. just curious if you, or anyone else on here, knows anything about Paradigm Studio speakers??? ive read nothing but good things about them but i cant for the life of me find any video walk throughs or anyone showing off more than the fronts or some bookshelf speakers. just curious if you knew why?? i feel like there is something im missing.
welcome to the home theatre family! lol. yeah I do agree that a great deal of people lean towards Klipsch. its maybe a mix of trend but also because you get great sound for decent price and they look nice (specially if you have the cover off). also they tend to have the right sound for a home theatre setup. im in Australia and I haven't seen many stores selling Paradigm's (mainly in the city). as far as I know the price is very expensive which is probably the main reason why mainstream customers wouldn't go for them. id be interested to hear them in person though in a home theatre setup.
I want to eventually upgrade to a SVS subwoofer. but I think I will upgrade the ceiling first to Klipsch PRO-160RPC and hopefully the height sounds will be more pronounced. anyway would love to see your setup once you're all done! take care
What’s the model number for the brackets for the surround sound speakers?
Hey there doesn’t seem to be a specific model. Not sure if this will work but can share this link: shorturl.at/kE018 maybe try searching for SA24 speaker mount? Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Can i ask u what is your setup on sub ?🤔
I heard this intro at another channel....
Gratia 11 lol I’m sure my intro will be like many others. The more videos I make I’ll find a way to be a bit more “unique”
Atmos tv is compulsory or not for this setup
The tv is not what makes it atmos. It’s the speakers working with the amplifier and the content playing that makes it atmos.
Tv is just for visuals.
Amplifier needs to be atmos compatible to play atmos content.
There is also no such thing as “atmos” speakers. Any speaker can be installed in a atmos setup.
@@lequidsnake yes exactly right 🤗👍 just bout any type of speaker can be involved in Atmos mode- its the receiver that matters ...Great set up
R-14s the bipolar ones on the back wouldn't be better?
Hey do you do only home theater videos, if so then i will subscribe.
Hey there, yes I will mainly be chatting about home theatre videos and movies. Currently working on a “the score soundtracks” video and also how I wired my speakers. Would really appreciate the sub! Thanks!
@@lequidsnake hey i already subbed. In other videos you replied too.
That’s right! Just recognized the username. Thanks heaps. Have to get back to me when you get your Klipsch speakers and also which SVS sub you end up getting. I really want to upgrade my sub when I find the money. Would love to go two subs but no room unfortunately 😥
@@lequidsnake ya actually it takes some more time. Upstairs construction will start within 5-6 months and then home theater setup process will start. I will surely get back to you as you have asked for.
Sounds great, perfect time to go in and run all the wires for the home theatre! Have fun!
How much cost for whole setup at Ahmedabad city.India in indian curruncy ? How I can get it here pl reply me soon.
Sorry buddy. I’m not sure how much in Indian money. Would have to find out how you can get them first. May need to import it.
In India cinebells.com are authorised dealers.. You can check with them

Movie clips to hear
Hey Ronald, Not sure what you mean? You mean record clips to hear the sound quality?
@@lequidsnake yes please
Ronald Allen no problem, I’ll work on that for my next few videos. I only have a rode microphone so may not portray the best audio but could look into a better microphone down the track if I end up doing more of them. Stay tuned! And thanks for watching
I know its been a while but its finally up! love to know your thoughts! ua-cam.com/video/b_hL9HwE2Rc/v-deo.html
Knock that wall down and extend it
Matt Doherty I know it’s been a while. Haha I wish buddy. There is stairs behind that wall. In the next setup though it will be much better! Thanks for the comment anyway
