That's one thing I think I have yet to hear from Strickland, is that he says he's better than anyone.....the dude is fkn straight up no nonsense talk...every other fighter talks about how good they are and how much better they are than the guy they're fighting.....and the ones that talk like that I just want to see them get beat....I liked Dricus more than now....now he's saying that Israel just couldn't get started,thats because he shut Adesanya down....had him backing up the entire fight and beat him to most of the punches thrown....this should be a great fight either way, but but now moreso than then I wanted Sean to win ...based on Duplessis saying how much better he is...I get the confidence part totally, but him down playing Sean in the Adesanya fight was a lite bs....who knows Dricus could been pieced up by Israel, now we won't know because Adesanya supposedly gonna retire.

To generalise a little, Africans/Afr.Americans have long reach (think Jon Jones, Izzy, Ngannou) , Asians and Polynesians have short reach (Max, Whittaker, Mark Hunt) and whites/europeans are in between (of course that means everyone from Chad Mendes to apes like Mcgregor or Pavlovich lol) .
I’ve gone off Du Plessis of late. He’s become a bit of a big head. In the fight he struggled to get past Stricklands jab. He looked like a Panda at the end. I’d love to see a rematch and Strickland to bring him down a peg or two.

As long as Dricus stays smart and doesn't wear himself out testing the "boxer". Blind Freddy can see he is an extremely accomplished MMA fighter, his record - KOs and subs running head to head almost - shows that and it is why his fights are exciting. He's unpredictable and brutal, no matter what he's doing. Sean's MO is to just survive. Which can be effective. Which has been effective to a degree. (Too many unranked fights to lock it in as fact.) It would really suck that the guy who took minimal risks and just survived wins this because the other guy did too much for the wrong reasons. Dricus is a grounded, smart, successful athlete. I'm sure he's aware of these pitfalls, but I really want him to fulfill his chosen destiny and not fk it up.

Dricus will get finished in the championship rounds after winning majority of the first 3 rounds. Sean’s conditioning is superior, the wrestling offense will slow down R4 onwards and Sean will finish it on the feet from thereon.
