@RichardGuzman-r6h yes. My point is the king loves Australia and the Australian people, he does not deserve to be bad-mouthed like the female senator is saying
@therealsophiemary Australia was not exactly "conquered" by the British, but rather, it was: 1. We had a referendum less than a year ago about having a treaty and Australia voted NO. Why should we pay reparations to people who weren't even here when Australia was colonised and have never suffered? Why is it always the white people's fault. It took a long time to rebuild the country, but it was achieved. People forgave and looked forward. Today Ireland is a wonderful country. It attracts visitors from all over the world. Sure, it struggles at times, as all country's do, but it always emerges very well.
One of the happiest moments came when her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth visited. She received a glorious welcome and smiled wherever she went. In her Christmas address to the nation she spoke of her delight in the visit, something much appreciated in Ireland.
The key is in forgiveness. Otherwise, nothing positive can be achieved.
She's getting a separate payout of another million dollars for her shenanigans and her previous party. This whole thing is a joke to her. it wouldn't surprise me one bit if she was trying to tape this as a new reality series.
Wow. Is it when they tool your guns when you decided to be a boot licker?
It’s the Australian people she should have a problem with. The Royal family has no issue with Australia leaving. They haven’t wanted to. Also, the Australian people keep voting against recognition of the indigenous people and lands they want in elections. The King doesn’t vote in that or have a say in it. It’s the Australians.
Censureship is not enough, she should be expelled from the Senate. Based on my understanding, Australian senators are indirectly elected and as such she has no personal direct mandate from the people that would justify her remaining in the Senate when she clearly has no regard for the constitution.
There is no mechanism to expell an eligible member of the commonwealth parliament.
Does she even know what she is talking about !!!
Nope!
What was the point of this video? Was her earlier effort not good enough to her or is this cobbled together video just to keep her relevant?
The king loved Australia very much throughout his life, if Australia had not been conquered by the British and had not become part of the British empire, you would not have fought against Germany and Japan..Even though you are ruled by the king you are free to do what you want you can eat anything, you can buy anything you want,Australia is free even though you are ruled by a king..Long Live The King 👑
@M4j3STY00 we are not ruled by our king. Our king reigns over us but not ruled it's our government ruling or managing our country.
@RichardGuzman-r6h yes. My point is the king loves Australia and the Australian people, he does not deserve to be bad-mouthed like the female senator is saying
You need a history lesson. We were not conquered by the British.
@therealsophiemary Australia was not exactly "conquered" by the British, but rather, it was:
1. Colonized (1788-1850): The British established colonies in Australia, starting with New South Wales in 1788.
2. Settled (1820s-1850s): British settlers and convicts arrived, and the population grew.
3. Federated (1901): Australia became an independent nation, with the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act.
Like I just said, we were not conquered. What really made your whole comment silly is the fact that you said Germany or Japan would have conquered us instead.
"The colonising King"... Charles looks amazing considering he's apparently over two hundred years old. What an awful woman.
Clever!
Well if he’s not colonising then he shouldn’t be allowed to inherit the palaces and wealth of the original colonisers that has been passed down for generations
@@theeperson3764 That's not the definition of colonisation. Nice try though.
@@theeperson3764You again?
@theeperson3764 I always hate being embarrassed on behalf of someone else's ignorance but here we are.
This individual needs to be in prison or kicked out of the Australian Parliament!
GOD SAVE THE KING!
So much for free speech then I guess if we’re just imprisoning people with opinions you don’t like
@@theeperson3764 The fact that you clearly don't understand anything that's going on here yet continue to comment on the matter shows how ignorant you truly are.
@@theeperson3764 Calling this Australian senator disrespectful for her outburst, is an understatement. She was out of order and deserves to be censured.
Thorpe is pretty gross
There’s no excuse for such crude behaviour 😢
Surely its up to the government that she is part of to create some kind of treaty. Maybe she should get to work and create a treaty herself and then petition on its behalf to her colleagues.
We had a referendum less than a year ago about having a treaty and Australia voted NO. Why should we pay reparations to people who weren't even here when Australia was colonised and have never suffered? Why is it always the white people's fault. I'm a white person and I'm indigenous to this Country too and I'm sick of being "welcomed to country" at every single sporting event or occasion, when I've never left. And I certainly DO NOT need permission to drink the water but yet we are given permission at every single event. I'm tired of this "white racism" and I'm not putting up with it any longer. I , among many, have signed a Petition to have this VILE WOMAN removed from the Australian Senate. Maybe you should worry about your Country bcoz you're clearly NOT Australian or you'd know we had a referendum recently about a treaty and a referendum in the 1990's about becoming a Republic and both times it was a NO. Unfortunately we are no longer a "lucky country" and we need a MAGA of our own. #Make Australia Great Again #Make Albo Go Away
Australia had a referendum about a Treaty one year ago and Australia, including Indigenous peoples who this was supposed to help voted NO. Try doing some research before commenting.
Maybe you should worry about your own Country.
People like her don't do logical things. It's all about ignorance and drama.
@@Anonamiss782 Oh, that is what she is talking about? Well they could amend those terms if they really want a treaty and it could be voted on again with the amendments.
I mean she is aware of Australia's history isn't she?
She don’t seem rite 😂😂
An open apology to all the royalist that replied to my last message, after educating myself regarding the queen you are correct. The queen seen it as her gift from god and would never abdicate 🙌 i was incorrect and my opinion was WRONG. Lesson learnt

She is a disgusting advertisement for her parent's good upbringing.
What an attention seeker. I’ve seen video of some of her other performances. I believe that most Australians hold her in contempt. Perhaps she’d get more respect if she did her job and made changes in legislation, rather than making it all about herself. Why do politicians seem to think making a noise and getting attention , is more important than working to represent the people who voted them into office?
Random king?
I would be a random king.
That is how uneducated she is. And she's a lawmaker. Just goes to show what kind of people are making the laws in our nations. They don't even know basic history or how the country they supposedly serve even functions. King Charles knows more about her government than she does. That's why he's laughing and so is Camilla.
Excellent comparison.
King Charles did not committed genocide! His ancestors are gone. Yes. Indigenous people deserve respect but your approach is useless to them. Australia, Canada, especialy Quebec) and others are British colonies, whether they like it or not! ❤Uk
I don't recall King Charles committing genocide ... 🤔
Or doing any colonising, which she claimed he did.

As an American, I would rather have the current British Monarchy governing the US than what we have at this point! Lol

Funny how you "Not My King" brigade all turn up on a UA-cam fan channel about him. Who are you trying to convince? Because if it's others or yourself, you've failed in both instances.
As an Australian I am disgusted by her behaviour! I thought she was so rude when in the presence of a visiting head of state even if she disagreed with what his ancestors did.
She's of Aboriginal heritage so it's fair enough that she doesn't agree with the British view in the 1700s that Australia was unoccupied land when there were people living here. However she has no respect for the parliament! The oath of office Senators have to swear is an oath to His Majesty the King and his heirs. She did hers in the reign of QEII and said to the media that instead of saying "heirs" in her oath she said "hairs". And since Her Maj has since departed and she'd said "hairs", that she hadn't sworn to support Charles. The other Senators were rightly outraged and officially censured her since she doesn't want to follow some of the basic rules of our parliament.
She is not affiliated to any of the parties and seems to think she can get away with this behaviour. So glad she's not a Senator for my state!
Then her oath is void and she should be promptly removed from her seat as a senator. Plain and simple.
@@Carolina-Cromwell-I
Agreed. She shouldn't be let back or get a paycheck until she retakes the oath.
@@Carolina-Cromwell-I I think they are looking at all legal avenues so the censure might be the strongest they can do sadly.
I think all candidates should be vetted to see if they can swear this oath before running!
Other Aboriginal people have sworn the oath agreeing that the King/Queen of the UK is who they're pledging loyalty to. While they may have had some issues with it, they have sworn the oath and tried to make things better from within the system in a legal way rather than grandstanding like she does.

You've got to admire King Charles. He stood there and respectfully let this unhinged woman yelling out moronic insults at him.
