  • The 2021 Yokohama Tire NORRA 500 presented by Method Race Wheels was an epic adventure 2-day rally based out of Ensenada, Baja, Mexico. The headquarters for this race was at the world-famous Horsepower Ranch, where Registration, Tech and Contingency was held.
Day 1 racecourse took racers from Horsepower Ranch to Ojos Negros and up the mountains into the pine forest on roads that only NORRA gets to race on that twist and turn through 70ft tall pine trees.
Day 2 racecourse started in Santo Tomas and led racers down the Pacific coastline south through Erindra, San Vicente, and Colonet, looping back to San Vicente and across the crossover road to Valle de Trinidad, looping up to Mike's Sky Ranch Road for a super special stage called "King of the Mountain". Then course turned northbound through Tres Hermanos Ranch, through Ojos Negros and returned to Horsepower Ranch for the checkered flag!
This race was the first NORRA 500 race to have a "Cartera Grande" purse, which translates to "Big Wallet", with a prize pack for the UTV class winners (all 4) totaling over $20,000 in prizes! Each NORRA 500 going forward will continue the Cartera Grande for the UTV classes.
