I often have little mimicking conversations with a female blackbird that I named noot noot while gardening. I also put apple out for her and her little partner who I call jackiebird. The copy cat mimicking can go on for quite a while and she seems to get very excited about the interactions. She'll even get louder and more insistent if I ignore her or she'll follow me around the garden for more games. When she or Jackiebird wants more apple she seems to open her beak and look directly at me to the side as if to say it's apple time for us now. You can't tell me that wild birds don't have personalities and characters of their own. They are also quite smart.
OMG! All those different sounds! Amazing! At one time sounded like a video game, a decepticon, R2D2, a voice changing machine, and took a picture. So many sounds out of one little body.
This cosmos birb is simply next level master of imitating. His birdsong is very good, and his screams too. What is most amazing to me is how he is able to produce more than one noise at a time. Mindblowing these birbies are.
Starlings are such amazing little birds. Tweeters is going crazy listening to yours! I am glad that i found your channel. He loves to watch starling videos on my phone.
I had a starling we found on a sidewalk when a baby. Raised it up and "Oscar" was the most fantastic pet I ever had. Part dog, part cat, part parrot it seemed. He would fly free outside and come back in the house when called. Smartest pet I ever had.
Checks out for a starling. Rapid display of a startling variety of sounds followed by "Hey, worm... Nevermind... Hey, grubs... Nevermind" followed by a different display of a startling variety of sounds 🤣
What a gorgeous bird. Love the feather pattern. We don’t have starlings where I am. Listening to one is strangely calming. Interesting the sounds he makes. I take it he’s like a Lyre bird that can mimic anything?
I have a 7 mo old starling, Avery. She (actually a he) speaks a lot. Says I love you, tickle tickle, peekaboo, gimme kisses, *kissing sounds*, oh thank you, you phycho, pretty girl.. I am teaching her more and more. She's learned a whistled tune my dad taught her also. (I called her a girl until I figured out the sex, as I had her from about 3 days old, so we just stick with girl, though she's male)
I can see by your ambience, you like scurrile things. Although this is supposed to be such an ordinary bird, it has amounts of cognitive skills. I never knew! I'm flashed. I tempt to get me one of them some day, if it's possible, but of course before get enough information about their ideal conditions to live. I admit, I'd like to raise and train it, to check out their spectre of abilities, what we've all missed since ice age, when we dependet on partners like the wolf. Birds exist so much longer than us, and dinosaurs were their direct ancestors, they say. If you believe in the whole of evolution theorem, be sure, it's a random thing, we once took over. But, can we count on this forever? (Hope, my English is okay.)

All Corvids are absolutely brilliant! Intelligence with problem-solving ability, adaptation, and personality? You bet!
@@GJones462-2W1 blackbirbs and starlings are not corvids.

Precious ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love how The Mouth gets rid of annoying 'worm', punishes you for having it around and does this "So, anyway, where was I?" bit before resuming. 😂

Jehovah's creation 's are awe inspiring.

Very talented vocalist. I didn't realise their feathers had that iridescent sheen!
Mozart had a starling. I can see how it is a musical inspiration.
Sarah his colors are absolutely Beautiful, that Jack-Hammer noise he mimics is the Greatest, Thank you Sarah and The Mouth.😃👌
Starlings have thicker legs than other birds. I love the way they waddle. I've had four live with me. And they can run real well. 😅
We have a wild crow that copies car alarm sounds. Like key fob sounds. Its very cute.
Hanging out with a starling is the best thing ever!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

In a neighborhood I knew, there was a mockingbird that did car alarm sounds. "Reow, reow, reow, ... beemp, beemp, beemp, beemp!"
The way his face is shaped he looks so angry lol such a magnificent birb ✓
Wow who knew starlings were so amazing! Sounds like this guy watches a lot of Star Trek 😂
Beautiful bird.
Feisty little guy, especially when it comes to your fingernails and draw string! Starlings seem like Ringnecks x 1,000!
Such a beautiful Starling The Mouth is, WOW!!🤗💕🤍🖤 Such pretty singing too!🎶🎶🥰
He can get all the lady birds with that song
Would like to give kisses on his sweet head and cuddle him all the time. Such a lovely birdie ❤

What a show off! ❤
Que belleza🥰
Amazing ❤
We have starlings living in our neighbours roof, but they never get close enough to interact with us.
That would be so cute for about 10 minutes.
Magnifique 😍
Un capolavoro di Dio. Altro che il caso, solo un babbo può credere a una scemenza del genere. Meraviglia da chi è il Meraviglioso.
We have a young one, mordecai, who is just starting to try out new noises!!! I don't know if I'm excited or frightened lol
I wonder if they can bark like a dog? I'm almost ready to hear Luke Skywalker yell out R2!
Che amoreeeeeeeeee ♥️💕
Além de ser lindo....meu Deus, eu tô abismada com a tua criação!
🐾🐾🐾🐾❤️❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾🐾🐾
So You are also A Trekkie😂❤
With a repertoire like that, you wonder where he hangs out?
I think the bird just confessed to murder at 1:56
Omg, I heard it, too!! 😅 I wonder who he "shot" lol
What does he eat? His legs are very thick, he won't be able to walk
It would be extremely nice to start a conversation with a starling.......
I like these birt 1:07

Oh, she has also learned to give me kisses, which of course is my favorite.

Years ago I had a cockatiel that I absolutely loved but I couldn’t stand all the bird crap everywhere
