I find this product super exciting, I want it to display art and photos in my home. I hope it will be available to consumers and won't be prohibitively expensive.

Oh, I also hope it will available to common people but it will surely be pretty expensive. A large part of the cost of large-screened ereaders are the panels themselves...so these will be expensive

I would expect products based on the new color E-ink Spectra 6 technology to be extremely expensive in 2024. I have no idea but I would suspect the display itself to be at least 5 to 10 times more expensive tag a similar size LCD display at first… Prices will likely come down but unfortunately more consumer friendly prices are likely not to be expected before 2028/2030 :(… Just a (realistic) guess…

Sorry if I missed it in the video or anywhere else but are there any informations on what panels these e-Posters use? Kaleido/Gallery 3, Spectra 6, etc.?

I think for public ads the big led display still winner. Cheaper and more flashing

consums a lot of energy and isnt visible in direct sunlight
depending on the use, this is extremly promising
I saw posters (made out of paper) with a glas panel and a backlight before, thats even cheaper than any display xD

Yea this consumes power only when changing the image. It doesn't need power to maintain the existing image. It can run on a solar panel that would only expend energy when you send a new image
