@@RobertPage-c2u I think you misunderstood what was saying. I was trying to respond to the comment “cowboy boots don’t fit him here” and I was saying (I think your exact point) Paul & Edie are being much more true to the genre in their performance than the countryfied pop junk that comes out of Nashville these days.
Beautiful song and beautiful couple.
Edie and Paul. I could listen to them all day every day. What magic, and their shared love just jumps out for all of us to savor and celebrate!
Really!!! And I love it that they have been married for 30 years!!!
Fantastic rendition, you just can’t beat class talent.
Огромное спасибо за душевное и трогательное исполнение! Море положительных эмоций!
Joyful💕
Beautifully done. Ernest Tubbs would be proud. Love it - - !!!
He sure would be proud . A lovely performance.
@@brenda19ish I love this song. :-)
Beautiful rendition of such a favourite. Loved every moment and thank you for this presentation.
Yes a really lovely performance by Edie and Paul !
Aww! Thank you Brenda for this interesting video.
Beautiful ❤

Well done girls on the violin
I love this video. The way she looks at him makes me think I could waltz across Texas with a woman that looks at me like that.
Super!!!
Can someone tell me why Edie Brickell isn't a Queen Of Country Music?
Absolutely beautiful couple.
Nice to know that I'm not the only one who cuts his own hair - although I do a much better job of it than Mr. Simon.
😉
She's still got it!
They both have !
lucky man
I prefer Ernest Tubb's version. I love Paul Simon but the cowboy boots don't fit him here...less than inspiring.
I’d argue this performance is more “country” than any of the schlock coming out of music row over the last 25 years!

@@RobertPage-c2uEdie comes by her Texas drawl naturally. She was born in Dallas.
He's not singing with the cowboy boots.
