Moving is THE BEST way to declutter and prioritise. You declutter on the way into boxes, then on the way out of boxes at the other end, you unpack and think, why did i pack that. Its the best!!

Can I just say, I love that you make this so realistic. So many UA-camrs say it only takes them a couple of hours to declutter with kids. And yet, a few weeks is more reasonable! Takes me ages to declutter our house, and it's fairly small.

This is the motivation I needed to get decluttering! We aren’t moving but getting ready to welcome our first babe into the world in less than 6 weeks! 😬 we also have a very small home (900 square ft so only slightly bigger than yours) and trying to get rid of a large amount of “stuff” and keep the baby items as minimal as possible. It’s crazy the amount you accumulate over such a short amount of time!
Decluttering videos are so satisfying to watch, you do it with such grace with your children too. New here, and I am loving your videos!

Wow I could not imagine , my family has always lived in small apartments I've always had to live minimally as possible. At a point in my life right now when I'm thinking of moving into a home in a few years, I think about how my stuff wont fill up my home even halfway haha!
The trick for me: live in a small place. The bigger the apartment/house, the more crap you tend to accumulate. Most people do not even use all the rooms or are barely at home because they are working an insane amount of hours to pay for the place in which they will mostly only sleep.
What helped me get rid of stuff was putting it in a box in the (small) basement. A month or so later when I opened it I didn't even remember they were there. The person who got them was happy :)
Whenever you feel like buying something, wait at least 2 weeks. If during that time you cannot stop thinking about the object, go ahead. Maybe try and get it second hand first, for some it is such a dreadful task to try and find it and go and get it that they will just not even bother anymore.

hi Love the video and congratulations on the new house! just a small reminder when stepping on a chair.. make sure the back of the chair is towards where you’re climbing. Compared to if you fall back and you fall onto the back of the chair it will hurt more.. safety for the kids too💕 stay safe!
I just decluttered my teenage bedroom over on my channel and it feels so good to be free of all the unnecessary items. It’s so calming to only keep what is needed.

we have a very tiny artificial tree that came from an elderly neighbour. throughout my childhood, we would decorate it with handmade crafts that we did over the years or picked up from second hand stores, and now it is a tradition that I look forward to every year, seeing all the crafts we made :)

We are preparing to move as well. We have a very minimalist home. My mother struggled with mental health issues and one of her struggles was hoarding. So I am very leery about having lots of things in our house, it's a little anxiety inducing for me, but I manage it pretty easily. The other side of it is that we want to reduce waste, so the things we usually buy are sturdy vintage pieces that we can stain or paint as our tastes change.
Idk how you can clean while wearing sweaters etc, I’m sweating like a pig in a to summer in shorts and tshirt 🤣 excited for more vlogs!!!

Such a fun video to watch! We’re a family of three with another one on the way living in a 2 bedroom with no closets or garage - it’s been intentional decluttering 24/7 to make our home clutter free. Can’t wait to move to a home with a little bit more storage.

I love these videos, they're so inspiring. I am currently looking at an affordable place that has SO MUCH room downstairs, but very small bedrooms. I was worried about how to handle that without making it cluttered or stuffy, and your videos gave me heaps of inspiration. Fingers crossed I'll get the place!

So now we are back before the bedroom was done? And the playroom reorganized? It's good to get rid of what you don't use before you move and decluttering helps you organize the boxes for when the move actually occurs. It should make it easier. Good luck with all of this.

Just seems like you have a beautiful, heavenly life & literally living so many people’s dream life. Please do whatever you can to hold onto your family & your life. I prolly sound like a crazy person but oh well. This video just made me about dream about how my life & my brother’s life would have turned out if we got to grow up with one family, got to stay together rather than separated, bounced from city to city, school to school, into a new home with a new family, get kinda comfortable just to get moved into another foster family... You would make an amazing foster momma & I think you should look into becoming a foster mom or adopting a baby or kid or teen before having another baby to give a mommy-less & daddy-less baby a permanent home... So many kids would be so grateful and in heaven if they got to be apart of your life, like it would seriously be so surreal to them.

We had so many diapers gifted to us and we never got to use the majority of them! We moved last week too and I used the packages of diapers that were already ripped open to wrap fragile things, and I still didn't get to use all of them!!!! We're donating the rest to a pregnancy and birth center, it's insane how well it worked though!!?
