When I was a little girl in the 60's my parents would put "old" country music on the record player. My life has been enriched because of talent like the Three Bells. I love this song as well as The Little Lamplighter. Now, it's 2011 and because of today's technology I can revisit my childhood and enjoy treasures like this.

But I believe that made me who I am today. I lost him in 2015. I really wish I knew what those earlier years like the 40’s and 50’s were like.

Saturday afternoons after the cartoon lineup went off, Mom would often play music. This was one of the albums she used to play. Grew to love this, The Old Lamplighter, Scarlett Ribbons and more. Great memories. Then Dad would play Roger Whitaker's 'The Last Farewell" in the car. Grateful that they shared some music many aren't acquainted with.

I went to Nashville when I was young wantde to be a recording artist well I decided to go to church instead and met everyone after that and was able to bring my friend Tonya backstage and we encountered Jim Ed Brown who seemed to be attracted to her at any rate he was very friendly and I was happy that she was there and enjoying herself she had her pic taken with him and now they are both in heaven today I listen to this and rejoice in the fact that we will all meet again one day

Jim Ed is the best! I fell for him the first time I saw him at Ernest Tubb's Midnight Jamboree at his Record Store in Nashville. I saw him at the Grand Ol' Opry and in a lot of concerts since then, and I still think he was one of the very best. R.I.P., Jim Ed Brown. I'll always love you and your music.

Jim Ed is the best! I fell for him the first time I saw him at Ernest Tubb's Midnight Jamboree at his Record Store in Nashville. I saw him at the Grand Ol' Opry and in a lot of concerts since then, and I still think he was one of the very best. R.I.P., Jim Ed Brown. I'll always love you and your music.
