Tbh, rather buy the games. JB makes it not appreciate the system, as you just download for the sake of being free and end up with too many you won't actually play. Have a PS4 Pro on 9.00 and it's collected dust for 2 years.

@@hanzobi1926This is more of a psychological side effect caused by the fact that the games are all digital. Back in the PS2 era, you would see a game on your shelf and think "I wanna play this today". Nowadays your games are all hidden inside the menu of your console, and more often than not you forget that they even exist
I'm actually holding on firmware 7.61 since september, when TheFl0w tweeted something like "spoiler alert: don't update".
So I believe these are the people who'll benefit from an upcoming PS5 jailbreak, those who were already keeping up with news on the hacking scene.

@@marcussacana Pois é, não se sabe ao certo o motivo. Pode ser que a Sony tenha proibido de falar, pode ser também que a vulnerablidade esteja no PS5, mas que não seja o suficiente para fazer o desbloqueio do console. Acho que a gente só vai saber mesmo quando mais detalhes forem revelados nessa conferência que ele vai fazer no final de maio

Just got a PS5 on 8.00 from eBay yesterday messaged loads of people on eBay and someone replied with a photo on 8.00 so excited for the upcoming jailbreak.

Every time Flow has made a public announcement for a kernel exploi, the jailbreak has followed not long after. I believe we'll get a PS5 jailbreak up to 8.20

I refuse to believe PS5 is low priority, it's infact the opposite and i also think there are very few people with 4.51 but there are a lot more who bought the console afterwards and waiting for JB.
